Ayasha, goddess of knowledge, had decided to walk the earth for a while. She was still restless from the day she felt the shift of power in the air. For the first time in a very long time, the goddess realized that her sister, Elpis, had become far more powerful than she had ever been. She realized that Elpis could overthrow them and seize control of the Prima Donna. What would become of her if Elpis won the war? Surely she would be dead. Elpis was a vengeful goddess, and that much she was certain of. The destruction of the Sumerian Pantheon still resonated within the immortal world. Ayasha did not want to die at the hands of her sister. She knew that Elpis would make her suffering last far longer than she could bear. She felt her fingers twitch and sank them into her thighs.
Ayasha was in disbelief that to be able to walk the mortal realm, she masked her energy. She did everything to ensure that her sister could not locate her. How did she go from hunting her sister down and being the one looking for her in the mortal world to being the one in hiding? How did it happen? She lowered her head, her thoughts now just a maelstrom of emotions. She could not form coherent thoughts because they were jammed by her fear. What has she become? A weakling! A fucking coward! The goddess of knowledge felt disgusted by her own cowardice and couldn't pretend anymore. Ayasha was a coward, and she really couldn't face her sister. She loathed that display of weakness and loathed the desire to escape. She needed Elpis to be crushed beyond repair. She needed the whole situation to go away and for herself to survive. After the shift happened, Ayasha painfully came to the conclusion that she was lacking something...
Her confidence.
