« Don't make me say it » SPN

OHMYGODWHATHAVEYOUDONELOU?

All usual disclaimers!

« What the hell was that ?? » He yelled at her, extremely pissed off and upset about her reckless behavior on the field.

She didn't say a word which was very unlikely given how loud-mouthed she was, but Oya wasn't in the mood for lectures. She didn't regret what she did and didn't see why she should apologize to him. Sam followed her to her bedroom in the bunker and she found her sitting on her bed and methodically dismantle her golden Desert Eagle. He wasn't on the field, he didn't know what happened except for Dean's half-assed explanation. Oya nearly sacrificed her life to save Dean, that was all he knew and while he didn't understand why Dean felt /this/ pissed off about it, he knew his brother enough to understand Dean didn't want to owe his life to anyone, except maybe Sam and Castiel. Sam knocked at her door but Oya ignored him. Since she didn't express her need to have him gone, the Winchester brother sat by the end of the bed and looked at her disassembling her gun.

« Oya? » She didn't reply to him, which prompted him to keep talking. « Oya. Please talk to me. » He could tell she was trying to cope with whatever happened there because she was focused on her gun and oblivious to the rest. Her hands were shaking and her face was tight and tensed. « Oya, I know you can hear me, if you don't want to do the talking, I'll do it anyway. » She didn't flinch and kept herself busy with her gun. « Oya, what happened on the field? »

« Your brother was an idiot! I had to save his ass. Now he's pissed off because he didn't want to owe me his life. I don't care if he owes me or not, he's alive. Point blank period. » She repeated, sounding more like a robot than her actual self, but at least she was talking. Sam swallowed a lump and scratched the back of his neck.

« You know Dean. Of course, he wouldn't want you to die for him. He wouldn't want anyone to die for him. »

« I didn't do it for myself. » She snapped at Sam while still disassembling her gun. « I did it for you.  You need him and he needs you. » She groaned while finishing her disassembling. « If he can't appreciate when someone cares about him, I don't give a flying fuck. He can go fuck himself! » She said, now visibly upset.

« It's not like this and you know it Oya. He likes you, I.. I like you too. He was concerned that's all. »

« Stop saying shit, Sam! You and I both know he only cares about you, which is very fine with me. I saved him for you okay? »

« You could have died. Do you think I'd be okay with it if you died? » He said, forcing her to look up to him with her chestnut eyes. She became stiff and looked at him with eyes wide open.

« You should be. » Each of her words was hammered at him, while her gaze still very angry was staring at the taller brother. Sam was perplexed because he couldn't figure out what the hell was going on and what they both were hiding from him or from themselves. Oya was stiff from head to toe and he could tell she didn't want to talk about it and kept growing walls around her. He never saw her so scared before, because yes, her eyes screamed fear and even if she was trying her best to hide it, Sam wasn't duped. He could tell.

« No. I shouldn't. Oya what happened there? » He asked again as he needed an answer.

« Dean was in danger. I didn't think. I just went for it. » She said.

It was the truth. Dean and she have been hunting an Ekko. An African spirit of the dead who could possess people. To get rid of it, the possessed must absolutely be true to themselves otherwise, the spirit would consume them. Of course, to destroy it before possession, it required either a specific incantation or pentagrams which obviously Dean didn't know. The Ekko possessed Dean and attacked Oya, injuring her in the process. Then ensued a fight between possessed!Dean and Oya who tried to recite her incantation while fighting the monster with little to no success. She was terrified of what the Ekko could do to Dean. They were mean spirits known to torture their hosts with their worst fears or the most traumatic event of their lives repeating itself over and over again. One of Dean's definitely was when he lost Sam to Lucifer. He felt so desperate and distraught when it happened that anything else in his book was a walk in a park. The spirit knew it and stirred guilt and anguish from this moment to keep its control over Dean.

For Oya, it was another story. She couldn't shake the memories of her fiancé being possessed by a demon and forcing her to kill him. She couldn't shake the trauma away and see Dean in the same position forced her to remember what she buried deep inside of her. It broke free from its mental prison and overwhelmed Oya who froze for a while. Her body fought the Ekko and possessed!Dean but her mind lost the battle already. Vivid memories of Fabrice being possessed and spewing hateful and gut-wrecking words at his beloved came back to her and the feeling of weakness and despair filled her. Yet she refused to leave Dean to suffer at the hands of a monster she could beat and succeed in beating him unconscious and finish the incantation to take the spirit away. The Ekko noticed her anger, despair, and guilt overwhelming her and decided to taunt her. The African hunter wanted Dean out of the picture and safe, so she didn't make a move towards the creature and instead let the spirit taunt her until Dean woke up. He did and saw Oya standing a few feet away from him and being at the receiving end of a degrading roast from the Ekko. He caught her attention, asked her to finish the bitch but she refused to make a move and instead asked him to leave. They argued and the Ekko tried to possess her. But due to the protective scarification ritual she endured when she was a little girl, it failed. Dean felt something was wrong, she wasn't fighting back, she wasn't even insulting the creature like she usually would but she kept begging him to leave the place and run away without her. He could tell she was hurt, the more the spirit tried to possess, the more it hurt her but she held on and begged Dean to leave her alone. The monster stopped trying to possess her and instead went after Dean but Oya found the strength to finish her incantation and use her blood to send the spirit back to the ethereal plane. She freaked out, it rarely happened to her ever since she joined the Winchesters but she freaked out.

« Oya! You know it's not the truth. Look at you, you're mechanical, almost like you're on autopilot. »

« I did save him. »

« Yeah I know but it's not the whole truth. What are you not telling me? » He asked in a softer voice. His hand stopped hers from reassembling her gun so she would focus on him instead. She chewed at her bottom lip, eyes shifting from left to right before she finally stared at him. Her whole body was still stiff but he believed she was about to cry.

« I was scared.. he died okay? I was scared... I was upset because I didn't notice the Ekko before it possessed Dean. It's an African monster, it's my responsibility. I thought I had killed them all last time we met but I haven't.. and now look what happened. » She was fighting her own tears and shook her head to give herself some strength.

« It's not your fault. » He said, holding her hand in a more gentle manner. She shook her head.

« Yes, it is! It's how I lost Fabrice, I didn't want to lose another... » She blushed and then closed her eyes tight. Same blinked, it was the first time he ever heard this name and given how she shut down very fast, he realized that Fabrice might have been someone she cared about.

« Who was Fabrice? »

« My fiancé. He.. He was possessed by a demon years ago. We were engaged you know, I thought that given how many hunters there were, I didn't need to go on the field and-and ….and the worst happened. He..he was possessed by a demon and I couldn't for the life of me save him. I am sure you understand how shitty it is to have to kill someone you love and to hear them spew hateful words at you... I did it. I did it... I killed him. » She said still struggling hard not to cry but she couldn't help herself and wiped out the stream of tears rolling down her cheeks.

« ...I am sorry. I do know how it is to lose someone to a monster you're hunting. » He said with a tight sympathetic smile. He held her hand tighter and put his other hand on her shoulder. « Hold on, did you say you didn't want to let another... another Fabrice? Are you talking about... »

« Don't make me say it. » She said, brows furrowed as she realized she spoke too much. He shrugged and swallowed hard.

« I won't say anything. I mean, Oya, it's pretty obvious you have a crush on Dean. » He said, coughing a bit as he was a little uneased to talk about it.

« Don't make me say it Sam... » She pleaded, putting her other hand over his. Her heart jumped in her ribcage.

Truth be told, she never really considered her feelings towards Dean. She did know how much she was attached to Sam, but her feelings for Dean were unclear. She was attracted to him, his adorable face, his low-key sex-appeal, and his beautiful eyes. She enjoyed having sex with him, but more than the deed itself, it was the before and definitely the after. Dean had her stay with him in the same bed. Dean had her go get some breakfast for the both of them. Dean had her wish she could stay with him and Sam for a long while, maybe all her life until Death did them apart. It wasn't just sex, it was his whole being, his comforting presence, their banter and foul mouths. It was his voice in her ear saying her name. It was them sharing a beer while watching football, it was them killing monsters and saving lives. It was deeper than just a crush. It was deeper than that and she refused to see it.

Feelings complicated everything. Feelings for Dean was a road trip to hurtsville for him and her. She wasn't good with people and she was probably too damaged for both of them to sustain a healthy relationship. Oya was demanding, commanding, impatient, short-tempered, a bitch really. She was overprotective, fierce, loyal and caring too but it didn't mean she was the right shoe to Dean's foot. He himself was a serious case but she would be willing to accept him if she was sure he would accept her. There was the wild card nobody had any clue of. Dean might just not be into her. She was almost certain he wasn't, therefore, she didn't want to know. She didn't want to acknowledge it. She didn't want to say it. Sam realized that she had feelings for his brother, her face couldn't hide it anymore, at least not in front of him. Her genuine care and distress betrayed the woman as well and uncertainty which could be read all over her face.

« Say what? » He played dumb. « Oya, I need to understand. I need to make sure you're not going to do it again. »

« I can't promise that. If you are in danger and if he is in danger, I would always put myself in line. You have each other. You have each other so I wouldn't want to separate the two of you. » She said, using his last sentence to breach in and avoid talking about her feelings.

« Oya. » He furrowed his brows. « He's still very pissed off. He would remain angry at you for doing what you did. »

« I will survive. » She whispered, hands still shaking and lips still trembling. « I will survive his anger. Better this than him dead. »

« You said you lost Fabrice and you didn't want to lose another... » She stiffened again, why was he insisting?

« Don't make me say it, Sammie. Please don't. »

« Why? »

« If I say so, I wouldn't be able to ignore it. I would be forced to face it and deal with it. I do not want to do it. » She whispered, tears still rolling down her cheeks. « I know how it is, you know how it is....And we both know he's not.... he won't... I'm not... Let's not try this okay? » She felt blood rush into her veins, feeling exposed all of a sudden to Sam's sharp brain. Of course, he understood what she meant but didn't want to say. Of course, he wouldn't insist anymore now that he knew why she didn't want to talk about it. Instead, he offered her a comforting smile.

« It's okay. You don't have to say it. I care about you Oya. You keep saying that I have my brother and yes it's true, I do have him and he has me but I don't want you to think you're expandable. You're not. If you died or if you're hurt, I won't like it. He won't either. »

« You don't have to speak for him. I would happily give my life for you two. Of course, I'd rather not die bitches, so you better crank up your game! » She joked around, feeling relaxed after she heard what Sam told her. She was only a few minutes away to confess her feelings for Dean but fortunately, Sam gave her enough space not to freak out about it.

He didn't make her say it.

Words that we couldn't say -Pride and Asma-

It's very bittersweet, bitter honestly but this is how she feels and what she won't say.

Pride belongs to my friend N.
Asma/Elpis belongs to me
xxx

There are many things I can't say to you. Many things I wish I could but you wouldn't listen to them. You wouldn't listen to my words because they wouldn't please you. Words always die at the back of my throat whenever I look at you and I want to ignore the gut-wrecking feeling I have but I can't. I roll on the bed, baring my back at you so you wouldn't see my worried face. What can I do? I know you don't want to talk about what would happen to me once we set your beloved free but it's haunting my mind every single time I close my eyes. Would I die? Would I not? What would life be without you in it? I'm burning, like a shooting star, consuming myself in a feeling I know is unrequited. I am in love with you. Don't you know? Don't you see? I feel foolish because I know, I know that we are not the same. You are not human, you can't understand. You are eternal while I'm just a blink in your existence. A moment, a brief breeze over your skin. I'm nothing. Thinking of this, I would definitely rather die than live a life when you're not there. How would I move on without your voice in my ears? Without your arms around my frame? Without your kisses?

I'm not naive, however. I know that our intimacy isn't one. You feel like a forbidden fruit I shamelessly eat but could never satiate me because you are not meant for me. I know. I know you're thinking about her whenever you are with me. I look like her, I sound like her, I am her vessel. I understand. I accepted it when I decided to seduce you anyway. How ironic is it that it's with you, a sin, that I feel the most alive? How ironic is it, that it's with you, a sin, that I experience love? How ironic is it, that it's with you, a sin, that I'm suffering so much? I welcome those feelings, especially if these are supposed to be the last I would ever feel. I welcome them because I'm burning my life by both ends, lit myself like a supernova and go with a gusto. I thought I would be more stressed with a potential death but what truly stresses me out would survive this. You were clear some months ago when I asked you what you would do. You'd leave with her and will never come back to me. You'd leave me.... and I would only have memories to feed on. You'd leave me and I would wither like a flower, unable to find the sun again. I would wither away... You notice I'm taking a little bit of distance from you, which is unusual from me so you glance at me. My lips are trembling, I'm on the verge of crying but I'm doing my best to hold those tears back.

There are things we don't talk about, but I wish I could ask you to end me anyway because there's no life without you. There's nothing without you and once I would have released Hope in the world there would be nothing left for me to do. I want to request you to kill me, with a kiss and take my soul wherever it has to go. There are words I want to say, but I can't say them they die at the back of my throat. There are words I want to say but even if I did say them, you wouldn't listen.

You wouldn't listen.

“Wherever you go, I go and if you’re lost, I’ll find you, Dickhead.”

Personality:

Oya is a woman with rough edges. The job and the tragedies she endured were enough to harden the woman even though she wears her emotions on her sleeve. Oya has a very dominant personality but has proven to be flexible if the situation demands it. Oya is very observant and would rather believe the actions carried by an individual rather than their words. That made her unable to express her feelings fully with her words.

She also is very impatient, which makes it hard for her to keep a poker face. The job is her raison d'être so of course, she would take it very seriously. She sees it as a sport and does take pleasure in hunting monsters. She doesn't give up until it's done which means she would hunt your ass for months until she got to you before she moved on.

She does have a softer side, once you get to know her. She's kind, soft, considerate, and compassionate. She would do everything to make sure those she loves are safe and sound. Curiously, she's not cynical at all and actually likes people and enjoys protecting them.

Fictional Character Biography: (merged with real historical facts)

Cameroon, birth

The country had been independent for only 28 years. The new president, Paul Biya wasn't in charge of the country yet and France was visibly (somehow, openly) ruling Cameroon. Everything was a masquerade, but France had already freed the country. Yet that didn't come as a gift, there were trades, and among them secret trades. One of these secret trades, among the priority (if not exclusivity) in the Wood, oil, cotton, and fish markets was providing France with children who would become later monster baits for French hunters and experiments.

Awa Nzi Mulenge, Oya's mother was part of a secret and traditional family of hunters, the Sawa. She married the son of another famous family of hunters, the Nzi Mulenge. In Cameroon, hunters were well-respected families. Each village had at least two families of hunters who oversaw protecting the villagers. With Colonisation, they were forced to go underground and hide from the French colons to keep practicing and hunting. With the end of the Colonisation and the smooth transition to a democratic republic, hunters were able to return to their previous status. Each village and city now had some members of the biggest and most efficient families of hunters. Awa and Joseph were able to make a family for them. A girl, Oya, and a boy, Kalusha.

Normal childhood and Intense training in Africa/Russia/Central Europe.

Joseph taught his children the myths and the lore of their country to prepare them for the job. They managed to have a normal childhood since their training was basically just learning about the monsters they would hunt. Once they hit their teens, he sent them abroad to become familiar with other monsters and learn foreign techniques. Joseph had a very good friend, Henry Thomas who was an American hunter and who took Oya under his wing to teach her the ropes of the job. When she turned 18, she returned to Cameroon to become an official hunter in Cameroon. Henry died shortly after, and his golden gun became a part of the family treasure.

Family Tragedies

Oya's parents wanted her to marry a good hunter suitor so once she returned home, she met several of her childhood friends. It was difficult to find a suitor she liked mostly because they all wanted to stay home and give birth to a boy who would become a hunter. Female hunters who went on the field weren't rare nor disrespected, but they rarely married, which in Cameroon was frowned upon. Oya, at the beginning and due to her young age didn't really bother with it and reunited with a childhood friend, Fabrice who became her fiancé. Fabrice was really different from the others; he took her on the field and both hunted. He was very open-minded and calm and completed her very well.

She lived with him, so she didn't know what was happening at home. She didn't notice the changes in her brother and discovered that he was possessed the day he killed their mother in front of her. A few months before her wedding, Fabrice went on a hunt on his own and returned quite disturbed. It took a while for Oya to realize that her fiancé was possessed by a monster she couldn't exorcize and was forced to kill. This event traumatized the young woman who then fled back home only to find that her father had cancer and was dying. She remained with him at home for the last six months of his life and inherited his prized golden gun. That was when she decided to find her brother and kill him.

Meeting the Winchesters/ trip to America

During one of her missions, she realized that a few African monsters were living abroad and that her brother might be among them. So of course, she packed and went to the US in hopes of finding her brother and killing him herself. That was when she met with the Winchesters who rescued her from a vampire nest. Despite a rocky beginning, she got along well enough with them. They took her in, nursed her back, briefly told her about the recent events -Lucifer come back, Amaya, God's brief return, etc..- and offered to welcome her with them until she fully recovered and found her brother. In exchange, she would help them with their cases, which she agreed to. Dean helped her find and kill the Asanbosam.

Recent History:

After defeating the overpowered god Pluto. Oya proposed to Dean and the two got married. While on their honeymoon, the pair encountered a few ghosts to fight.

- She loves corny shit; especially the Aprons she always buys for Dean.

-Oya loves taking pictures and selfies. She has this tradition of always taking one with Dean (or whoever she hunts with)

- She became self-conscious after the fight with the Asanbosam deeply scarred her arms, but thanks to the care of Team Free Will, she got comfortable with herself.

-She is a terrible cook. Never really has the time to cook anyway so junk food it is. She loves it when Dean cooks for her

the last curtain fall

She sometimes wanted to run away from her life, escape as if it was the final curtain fall. She would wave timidly her goodbyes and leave as quietly as she arrived. The fantasy was playing in her mind, especially when she was subjected to immense stress. Nothing was working the way it was supposed to be, no one was feeling the way they were supposed to feel and misery once again became their clingy companion. It became so unbearable, so much that ultimately, it had to come from her. This feeling of being responsible for everything wrong always followed her. A single change of the strategy Scott came up with would fall onto her shoulders, without anyone pointing fingers at her. Asma took the blame. Self-nurturing broken thoughts that kept festering like a demon inside of her head and prevented her from breathing. Who could understand how it felt? Who could know? Words sometimes were at the tip of her mouth but died at the back of her throat because she couldn't utter them. She couldn't name it. She simply experienced it.

She sometimes wanted to run away from her life, in the literal sense. Ending it would be the proper meaning. Ending it was the solution. This feeling of being a failure, a good-for-nothing and a waste of space and skin lingered at the back of her mind and for so many steps forward, she leaped miles and miles backward. Her confidence was shattered, her rational thinking was gone. It became her fault and she had to make herself pay for that. Her eyes would betray her, glowing dangerously brightly despite her body language is stiff and withdrawn. Her eyes would betray her, losing the warmth they were known to have a sharp violence that hit you in the guts. Asma couldn't hide very well, she couldn't hide at all. But she played her part, she pretended and smiled and it took someone who really knew her to notice the change and catch her hand before the final curtain fall. It took a round of applause from the public to drag her back onto the scene.

What about your character(s)? a brief summary of who they are and main personality traits.

Oya : African Hunter. One of the most prolific. Well-traveled, well-versed in African folkores and efficient at her job. She currently is the last hunter of the sub-saharian zone, still alive and thus because of the brothers releasing Amaya on Earth. Favourite weapons is a golden gun, a gift from her father's friend who raised her when her father died. Sarcastic, a drinker, anger-issues, quite the loner and emotionally repressed. (cue Anger issues). She's good, she doesn't do well with romance and is very awkward. She's a nerd with a foul mouth. She's also very loyal and strong-willed.

Kalusha : her brother turned African vampire (An Asanbosam) . Was killed by their own father after it was revealed he killed their mothers while performing a forbidden spell that granted him several powers. [Asandosam is a vampire-like folkloric being from West Africa. It belongs to the folklore of the Ashanti of southern Ghana, as well as Côte d'Ivoire and Togo. It is said to have iron teeth and iron hooks for feet and to live in trees, attacking from above. In mythology, it is usually portrayed as an archetypical ogre] He is her archnemesis and has nearly succeeded in killing her.

What is your main character's relationship with the Winchester? How did they meet? Did they meet more than once?

Oya  met the Winchester twice. First time was when she first arrived in the US while chasing after a mami Wata (or an sub-saharian siren, more common in Cameroon and neighbourhood countries). Dean and Sam bumped into her and they banded together in order to eliminate the monster. It turned out that there was a diaspora of African monsters living in the USA, thus prompting Oya to focus on eliminating them before taking off of the USA and resume her crusade in Sub-Saharian African countries. Their time together forged their friendships and the brothers promised to help her whenever she needed it. Sam kept contact with Oya on the side, texting her from time to time to make sure she was alright. Dean only heard from her from Sam.

They meet a second time when she was held captive by a nest of vampires in America. Her brother, also a vampire (but an African one), fled to the US some years ago and took shelter there. In an attempt to end his life and avenge their mothers, Oya, who are successfully formed several hunters in several countries of Africa who took up her mantle, was trapped and used as bloodstock for these vampires. She was found by Sam and Dean after they cleaned up the nest and was brought back to their bunker for safety purposes.

Oya has a major crush on Dean but refuses to acknowledge it. She hides it with sarcasm and beer but her eyes and concern for him don't lie. Sam figured it out and tried to talk her into admitting her feelings to herself but she refused. She loves Sam like she loved Kalusha and wants to protect him as much as she can. He does return he feeling, treating her like a little sister (although they are almost the same age). Dean.. it's another story. He does care a lot about her but is as emotionally repressed as she is. However, her nearly dying from vampires forced him to accept that there is something more than just « friendship » going on.

What are your character's views on these characters: Castiel, Lucifer, Crowley

Castiel: She doesn't quite understand the guy. She thinks he's frustrating. She appreciates his attempt at doing good though. They often « argue » but it's mostly her being frustrating at his whole « stoic shtick. » She trusts him a lot and will very often call for his help, especially when Sam would be in danger.

Lucifer: She never encountered him (but might very well do the second time she meets the brothers) but from what she heard, she doesn't trust him and fears him. Despite having been taught/learned about the abundant folklore of the African continent, she's been raised a Christian and very many fears the devil. In a potential storyline involving Lucifer, they did meet and he messed up with her head so much, he scarred the poor girl who unlike Sam can't stand her ground against him the next time they meet.

Crowley: Doesn't trust him at all, doesn't like him at all, doesn't want to deal with him at all BUT when they are forced to work together, she loves their banter. It's extremely entertaining for her and she can pass her frustration on him. He knows her very well, her very wishes and knows how to play her like a damn fiddle BUT she also knows how to fight back and get to him which gives birth to many interesting situations. She knows he's a backstabbing bitch but always manages to have back up plans to avenge herself after he's done mocking her.

Unexpected skills ?: Oya is actually very well-versed in African Martial arts. Which the Winchester never saw with their very own eyes. It always impresses them.

Favourite transportation mode? Bikes. Usually Harley Davidson

Favourite weapons? A golden gun, a carved desert eagle which belonged to her father.

Favourite Beer: German Beer of course!

Favourite Sport: Soccer

Favourite secret identity? Athina Turner, it's a pun on Tina Turner who is her favorite singer. She has a more carefree personality and pretends to be a coroner. She actually is a coroner but in Cameroon which isn't acknowledged in the USA, despite her being extremely competent. Athina is how she gets access to bodies and can oversee them before /during/after the Winchester got to see the body

Pride and Asma : Gluttony's revenge part 2 : Second encounter

A/ N: he's closing in on his prey. Still patiently waiting for the right moment to intervene.
All usual disclaimers. There ! Getting this scene out of my head!

Xxxxx

The Sin took the habit to observe his sibling. He noticed that Pride very often had to leave for unknown periods the human on her own. Of course, Pride being clever would never leave the place unprotected and she would not leave the house until his return. The problem with Pride who, unlike Gluttony wasn't used to Mankind, was that he didn't realize how much humans needed interaction with their peers. Not even serial killers could remain on their own and needed to go and hunt on their kin, so how could this budding artist NOT want to go and see the light, feel the wind on her face, freeze because it was very cold and feel snow fall on her frame? How could she not want to watch children have fun and parents watch them with worried eyes? How could she not want to go out when she was by herself for days or weeks? He wouldn't take her now, not too soon, not until Pride and she got used to their new place. They had to move and wouldn't stay in the same house for too long before the siblings could get a hold on them, so they never did. After a month or so, they changed their location.

Pride has been away for about a week now and Asma couldn't stand to be on her own for so long. After such an emotional week that reminded her of her late parents, she needed to be in touch with humanity once again. To see children smile at her and interact with someone. So she went away. He watched as she wore a large red and black coat that covered her neck and her knees, along with black wool pantyhoses and white boots. Her hair was hidden behind a huge beanie and her hands were protected with white gloves. He followed her as she walked towards the park that was a few blocks away, putting herself in danger from being seen or followed by her sibling's minions, but being oblivious to danger in the time being. The need for human interaction was way too strong for her to resist. So she went out. He followed her in that park, walking only a few miles away from her. She sat on a bench with a hot coffee in her hands. Her golden gaze searched for human presence in the empty park. It was very early so there wouldn't be many people walking except for dogs owners and joggers. Asma watched them run past her and drank her coffee cup quietly.

Her life had changed so much in so little time. She basically depended on the will of an entity she couldn't quite understand. She got to know Pride, or at least that side of him he presented to her. She was used to them arguing, to him getting angry, to her being scared or angry too. She was used to them making-up, rejoicing in the pleasure of the flesh which was the only moments both of them didn't argue. Being next to him, close to him were the only moments the painter felt safe by his sides. So of course, she'd seek for his companionship. Being alone, however, was a situation she less and less appreciated. Usually, she would have talked to her mother and explain how scared she was of dying and how heavy the responsibility she carried over her shoulders was. Her mother would have comforted her. She would have found the right words to make her feel better and she would have given her advice about her feelings for Pride. These were in constant conflict.

Indeed, she loved him. She was in love with him even though she didn't know if it was Stockholm Syndrome or actual feelings. Maybe it was her answer to the traumatism of being a vessel for a deity, maybe these were real. She had no clue and was confused. There were days she wanted to give up on everything and just be with him until her last days. But her life was meaningless and a deity needed to be set free from within her body. Asma knew she didn't really matter and he might just as well get rid of her once Elpis would be free. It saddened her, especially since she realized she needed to live her life even more. She spent so many years on her own, missing the warmth of a companion, missing a family of her own and missing friends to spend her life with. Pride's presence in her life forced her to think about her life and even better.... to actually live in the present and everyday as if it was her last. Another feeling she felt was fear. Utter fear of the monster Pride truly was. She didn't know yet, he seemed similar to her but it was her brain trying to figure him out. He looked human, he certainly shared some similarities. Deep inside, Asma knew he didn't. He was a lethal weapon, a bloodthirsty king, a conqueror. He couldn't feel for anyone else but himself, self-entitled bastard that he was. So why was he with Elpis ? Why did he want to be reunited with her ? Was it out of spite ? Was it because he truly cared ? She couldn't tell.

Gluttony finally sat next to her, looking dapper in his suit and his large dark green coat he threw on his shoulders. He was insensitive to the weather but he certainly didn't want to look too alien. He glanced at her, at her melancholic gaze. He studied her gracious frame, her soft curves, her pink hair and leaned a little forward. Asma didn't notice him at first, still lost in her thoughts but she then felt a very uneased feeling from deep within her guts. It was Elpis trying to warn her about a danger coming her way. She had recognized Gluttony and wanted the pink haired human to be careful with him. Asma eyes shifted from left to right before she finally turned her head and faced the SIN.

« May I help you? » She gently offered but he smiled at her instead. He was handsome, but not Pride-level Handsome. He wouldn't be forgotten but he lacked something Asma couldn't pinpoint. He grinned at her and nodded quietly. How easy it would have been for him to snatch her away from her home and drive Pride mad with anger, but it was too early, he wanted to toy a bit with her instead.

« You can. I was in a predicament as of today. You know what it is.Someone has stolen my heart. » He was an excellent liar, at least for humans ears, so Asma bought his served lie and nodded.

«I know a thing or two about unrequited love. I have been on both ends you know? » She said, still holding her cup and staring at the stranger on her side. Her heart was beating faster than usual and her gut-feeling still told her he was dangerous but she didn't listen to it.

« And in which end do you find yourself today? »

« Unrequited one. It's a complicated love story.....complicated only because I can't let go of it. What about you? » She said tucking her hair behind her ear.

« I fell in love with a cruel person. They would take and take and take without giving anything but crumbs and false hope. I fell hard for them and believed I might have a chance. Look at me now, I changed for them, I dressed different, I talked differently and I gave everything to them. »

He was seducing her with his talk, speaking of himself as if he was reading in her heart. Gluttony was observant, he knew how his older sibling operated. He took everything and never gave a thing, except maybe sexual gratification to his partners because it was a matter of pride for him to be the ultimate lover of each and every one of his partner. So, he gave but it was empty. There were no promises. It wasn't too much of a stretch for him to deduce that the poor human fell in love with the SIN. She looked at him with eyes wide open and then looked back at her cup of coffee.

« I see... I'm sorry you had to meet someone like that. » She said with a soft genuine tone.

She wasn't too different from Elpis, he could tell just by looking into her eyes. This human was kind and loving and he could feel the hints of hope in her voice and golden eyes. She was open to the other, comforting and caring and it made him smirk. He wanted everything Pride ever had and it included his lover. She put her hand on his shoulder and gently squeezed it.

« Thank you. How is it going for you? »

« Me? » -she asked, surprised, clutching at her cup tighter-

« You and that person. » He said moving closer to her. She felt a shiver go down her spine and slid back but felt she couldn't move back anymore. « Why do you want from them? »

« I.....Hope. I hope they would see me for who I am. I hope I would matter to them. I Hope... but I know I shouldn't. They can't see me. » She said in a strangled voice. Gluttony bent a little forward, invading her space and making her uneased and tensed.

« You are not safe with them. You should consider doing the thing I did to solve my issue. »

« What did you do? » He was so close, her heart was beating so fast. She nearly screamed when he came closer to her but held her breath back instead. She gasped and bit her bottom lip, panicked all of a sudden due to his presence near her and looked at him with eyes wide open. He grabbed her arm and pulled her against his, her forehead hitting against his.

« I killed my love. »

« You.... don't touch me. Don't touch me! » She said in a trembling voice. She didn't want him to come any closer to her. She felt a dangerous shiver run down her spine and felt tears filling her eyes. He held her tighter and whispered in her ear.

« I was jocking. I didn't kill their bodies. I killed my feelings for them. It took me time to open my eyes and I suggest you should do the same. The person you seem to love might not be the right one for you. Be careful. » He said with a grin as he released her hand and pulled away from her. Asma looked at him with eyes still wide from fear and bit her bottom lip. Unable to understand what had just happened.

« Do I know you? You look familiar. » His eyes flashed briefly, a purple color before he quietly shook his head.

« We haven't but we might meet again. Good luck with your unrequited love. » He said as he walked away from her. Asma looked at him and watched him go, unable to know what to say or do. It left her such an uneased feeling that she rushed back to the house and closed the door behind herself. Her heart was beating fast and she couldn't help but rushed towards the bathroom so she could puke her disgust. His advice, however, left a print in her mind and would fester slowly. Who was this person?

Pride and Asma : Older sister

A/N: Let's understand some more Ayasha's motivations to force Elpis into her cycle of reincarnation and the relationship they both had when Pride came into play. Another on-the-spot story inspired by a picture. Ayasha's skin is golden with white sparkles on her skin but it doesn't matter.

everything but the SINS and Pride belongs to me
Pride belongs to my friend Nate
SINS was created by my friend Avalon

Ayasha, the elder goddess of knowledge had always played an important rôle in her pantheon. She was the first one to know crucial information that could ever help them preserve their influence or protect them from attacks from the other pantheons. She was an instrument of war and peace but quickly realized how powerful she actually was. Information which at the very beginning was sought after became a consequence of her very actions. Like a chess player, she would change a situation just enough to either provoke a war or force their opponents to surrender without too many losses on both sides. The All-Father and most of the pantheons were oblivious to her growing appetite for power, most of them except for Elpis.

Ayasha feared her when she was born. Fear was the first feeling she experienced and it unsettled the goddess. She didn't predict her existence and felt threatened the minute the little goddess was delivered by the All-mother Gaea. Hope was fragile, physically, Elpis was very weak compared to her other siblings. Yet, Hope was extremely powerful when used well. Hope could overthrow tyrants, level whole empires and even destroy pantheons. Hope was stubborn and persistent. Hope couldn't be blinded but could be subdued with fear and darkness. Elpis light was the brightest of her siblings and of the universe. Her kindness, resilience, and support attracted others to her like moths to a flame which in turn reduced the number of Ayasha's admirers. Jealousy was the second feeling the goddess felt towards her sister.

She used to be the one everyone turned to because she was the best and most liable source of information they could have. Knowledge was power and Ayasha realized it in her younger years. Hope disrupted her routine and over the millennia, as Elpis reached maturity, her influence was almost gone. She who used to be the most prized goddess of the pantheon was demoted to simple information as if she was what these humans called a radio or a television. She was nothing more than a tool and from jealousy, she ended up feeling vindictive. She tried to manipulate Elpis into trusting her enough so Ayasha could manipulate her at will, but it never happened. Elpis was oblivious of her sister's hunger for power. She always looked up to her since she was a youngling and would always follow Ayasha's footsteps or seek for her protection. Hatred couldn't really qualify what the goddess of Knowledge felt towards her sister. She didn't hate Elpis, poor child didn't ask for her birth, and she genuinely grew feelings towards her younger sibling. Ayasha did train her and taught her everything about godhood. She turned her into an effective and powerful goddess with genuine attention behind her actions. Unfortunately, when Jealousy kicked in, everything Elpis became was despised by Ayasha. She couldn't stand every gods and goddess gushing over the beauty and innocence of her sister. She couldn't stand the long line of suitors trying to woo the young goddess. She couldn't even stand the fact Elpis became her own person and distanced herself from Ayasha. Now she talked back to her! Now she had an attitude! Now she had an opinion!

When Elpis took the initiative to destroy the Sumerian Pantheon, it effectively created a rift between the siblings because Ayasha didn't predict it and couldn't have the information since Elpis went on her own. Losing control was something the goddess of Knowledge couldn't accept. Losing control and credibility, basically, everything she had ever owned and everything that ever defined her was slipping through her fingers due to her little sister. It became even worse when Pride was thrown into the mix. When it came to light and the All-Father obtained the information way before Ayasha ever could, she now was on the verge of losing her birthrights. It wasn't just another game for power, it was an actual last effort to survive. Her anger and resentment towards her younger sister took over and she decided to foment a plan in order to both avenge herself without getting her hands dirty. She used their brother Ishtar to do the dirty deed. He was easy to manipulate, easy to anger, easy to provoke so she would tell him everything he didn't want to hear. He believed in his heart and mind that the little Elpis would become his because it made sense. She was Hope and he was the god of War. Together they would help nations thrive and regulate themselves and she was the perfect balance to his violent behavior so of course, he wanted to mate her. The best way to make him angry enough would be to tell him that Elpis gave herself to a SIN, their mortal enemies.

So Ayasha did it. She made Ishtar angry and disappointed enough so he would stab Elpis with the dagger of Fate, successfully cursing her into an eternal cycle of reincarnation thus not killing Elpis, which was considered as the highest taboo of their pantheon. It worked and it was perfect... it would have been if this particular incident didn't cause a war. Having not predicted it to happen, Ayasha was forced to change her plan. She who secretly wanted to become the new All-mother and the only ruler of the Elder gods had to face a war with half of the pantheon against her. It didn't matter to her how many were lost in the war. It didn't matter to her how many would be left. She let Ishtar become the All-father after their father was killed during the war ad patiently would wait until his guard is low so she could kill him and crown herself the new All-Mother. Yes, there were only 7 gods left alive, including Elpis but Ayasha didn't want to stop at her Pantheon. She wanted to destroy those that were still alive and intact today and she wanted to sweep away the monotheist religions, swipe in all the non-believers and enforce a cult around her, on Earth. It was bold, it was ambitious but it was her endgame.

The only threats she would consider were the SINS. Those filthy creatures still had the power to defy her and kill her. She actively searched for a way to definitely destroy these creatures so she would freely reign over Earth but to be able to pull such a stunt, she would need to observe them. Fortunately for her, she knew that some SINS were against their current leader and lover of Elpis: Pride. What if she could lure one of them into fighting and defeating Pride on her behalf? She had to investigate and be extremely careful not to be seen or destroyed by those SINS when she would encounter them. It was an option out of many but an option she would use. Ishtar was ready not to see his sister again but still doesn't want to kill her soul. Ayasha would have shared his feelings before but her thirst for power was so intense that she didn't want to stop at forcing Elpis back into her slumber. She wanted to kill her for once and for all.

one more day

You think you're the beast and I'm the beauty
But I'm the beast and you're the beauty
Every time I wake up thinking that my day is maybe my last
But then I turn my head and I see your beautiful face

and it makes me think that maybe it's worth living one more day

Pride and Asma : Ares death

TRIGGER WARNING: Ares is a piece of shit. He's also the God of War so he does terrible things to people. Fortunately, he won't do any of his shit to Elpis but he'll still hurt her.:/

A/N: Before Olympus fell, Ares was one of the very first gods to die by the hands of Pride. Everybody thought it was planned and therefore it was even scarier, but truth was, it was an impulsive reaction to the SIN. Gluttony's presence and mind-games awoke this painful memory which in turns are misinterpreted by Asma.

Very few things could make Pride angrier than usual. He usually was a cold entity, collected and composed and never lost his cold blood, not even in the face of threats. What should he be afraid of anyway? He was the most powerful being of the universe, capable of slaying gods themselves. He was feared among them, talked as if he was their boogeyman and relished in the fear he induced in their hearts and the slaughters he was responsible for after. At the very best he could be annoyed or upset but angry? It never happened up until this very day. They hadn't seen each other for quite some time due to Elpis fulfilling her duties as the Elder Goddess of Hope and walking the Earth. He knew from his minions that there was a war provoked by Ares, the Greek god of war and she usually met him and induced hope in the heart of brave soldiers, usually without picking a side. They had an agreement that they would work side by side without interrupting the other or intervene in human affairs. But she should have at least sent a messenger to tell Pride about the event. He received nothing which caught his attention.

He sent his minions in hopes that maybe she was exhausted and needed to recover for a while but became tensed as they reported she was not on the battlefield and so wasn't Ares, which was suspicious at the very least. He sent minions for more investigation before he decided to make a move. His mind was filled with theories and explanation. Something rational must have happened. Maybe Ares was tending to Elpis if she needed to rest after using her powers to their full extent but even he didn't buy his false narrative. Ares was known for two things: War and his treatment of women, goddesses or not. He was brutal, he was envious and he took what wasn't his, to begin with. Ares used to be one of Elpis suitors. He thought that they both were meant to be together because he was the god of War, one of the most powerful there was and she induced Hope, which benefited him since it led people to continue the fight. She was a tool in his hands, a coveted one at that given how popular and beautiful she was. But at this stage of Pride's relationship with Elpis, very few were aware of them being together. Elpis might have been in danger.

And she was. As soon as the war began, the pink haired goddess started to do her job as usual. She walked the battlefield and with a simple touch or her aura spreading around her, she induced Hope in the hearts of soldiers. It was exhausting her due to the sheer number of them and how strong other feelings such as fear or pain took over but she held on. It was at this moment she felt the towering presence of Ares behind her. She was short, barely reaching his sternum as he looked at her from above. Her soft and curvy body looked tantalizing from his point of view. Her short stature and warmth attracted the brutal god who couldn't help but put his hand on her shoulder. Freezing at his contact, the goddess of Hope furrowed her brows and as gentle as possible pushed his hand away.

« How long are you going to resist me? » He asked as he flipped her around so he could face her and relish in her uncomfortable expression. He tended to do that to the women he spent time with, aside from Aphrodite who didn't mind at all his brutality. Elpis took a deep breath, trying to calm herself before anything escalated quickly. Ares wasn't really the kind of person you could reason with. He was an animal, driven by rage, bloodthirst and the spoils of war. He was a brute that only knew to take and not to give. No wonder nobody wanted to bond with him. No matter that only Aphrodite could allow herself to debase herself for a man like him. It scared Elpis, deep down, to face him because she knew that she couldn't talk her way out of it and away from him. He was stronger than her in every way. His size, his strength, and her powers didn't affect him in the slightest when she was hopeful and good. Despair couldn't even come because fear was paralyzing her from head to toe so she was stuck there with a god who wanted to take her and her fear that prevented her to escape or think rationally.

« I told you I do not want to be with you. » She said with a soft voice, still trying to appeal to his more reasonable self but Ares shrugged his shoulders and grabbed her wrists hard enough for her not to be able to escape from him and so he could drag her out of the battlefield and into his tent. A minion, inside the body of a human soldier, saw that and started to run away from the battlefield in order to notify Pride that Elpis was in danger. Unfortunately, Ares minions were also there and decided to ambush the minion to protect their god. Ares laughed as he saw small Elpis trying to escape from him. She squirmed, kicked and tried to bite him but he let her do, her teeth not being strong enough to hurt him effectively. He threw her onto the ground, where her white and gold toga got dirty because of the dust and the dried mud. It was a place with ancient spells that prevented Elpis from teleporting back to the Elder-realm. « What are you doing Ares? » She asked, her voice shaking at the thought of what he /might/ do to her. She knew Ares by reputation and knew that if she didn't find a way to leave, he would effectively hurt her. He was a sadist, one of the worst of all pantheons and he enjoyed seeing her try to escape from his tent. There was a throne he sat on, a large bed made of animals fur, bones and leather, and riches that were spread all over the place, along with weapons and a few women that laid on the side, bruised and seemingly in pain. « What did you do to them? » She asked horrified as she tried to touch one of them who barely breathed and induced hope within her heart so she could hold on. She touched the others and felt tears fill her eyes.

« Oh come on. Have you never been on a battlefield Elpis? This is part of the riches a man has the right too. Money, blood, and pussy. That's what I deserve to have. »

« You forced them... you can't force someone to have sex with you. » She said, her voice betraying her fear of him and forcing her to bite her bottom lip. « I am NOT staying here with you. » She said as she started to run towards the entrance of the tent, but something prevented her from moving further as soon as she reached it and Elpis understood that the spell he created effectively prevented her from leaving the space. She was trapped. Her eyes started to avert from left to right as she was looking for something else to do, but she couldn't think straight and started to shake even harder. Ares relished in the moment when they realized they wouldn't be able to avoid his brutal assaults. He wasn't considerate like any proper master towards their submissives. He didn't mind about his partner's comforts or limits. He didn't mind trying to have a dialogue or even to please them. He was a taker and that was all he did. Thrusts after thrusts after thrusts until he erupted within them regardless if they were literally destroyed after he was done. He ruined every single of the human women he raped. If they didn't die already due to the brutality of his assaults, they couldn't live normal lives after being raped by a god. It was the same with all the deities and demi-goddess he forced himself on. Ares was disgusting. Every fiber of her body hated him and yet feared him because she realized she couldn't hurt him. « You are disgusting Ares.. whatever it is you want from me, you won't have. I will never mate with you. I will never choose you. Do you hear me? Fuck yy-- »

« Shut up Elpis, you are boring when you talk. Listen instead. » He said as he grabbed her by the neck. It wasn't pleasant like it was with Pride. It hurt and it made her cry a couple of tears but she grunted and still had this fighting light in her gaze, which annoyed Ares who brought her face closer to his. « I don't care if you will want me or not. We are gods and gods laws are that if you lose your virginity to me, you belong to me. I am going to take it from you so you would become mine whether you want it or not! » He said with a grin. Her eyes stared at him and she couldn't help but laugh at him. « Why are you laughing? It's no laughing matter! » He said as she kept laughing louder and louder.

« Ahahahahaha you are way too late for that Ares. I have been claimed already. I have been taken by someone who isn't you and someone I am loyal to. Ahahahahah you're wasting your time with me so you better release me because if he learns that you tried to force your stinky ass on me, he's going to rip you a new one! » She thought it was her solace. He didn't know about Pride so she would use it on him. It seemed to work given the confusion on Ares' face so he released her neck as he tried to collect his thoughts. She kept laughing, this time clearly mocking him. It didn't sit well with the god who looked at her with a flaming red gaze.

« What did you say? » He asked as he grabbed her arm. She struggled, this time scared of the giant god who was standing in front of her. He bruised her arm and she knew by the strength he was using against her that it only was the beginning. « Someone took you? Who IS HE? » He asked.

« Superbia! » She said firmly, believing that it would at least buy her some time. It didn't induce fear in the god of war, all the opposite. He hadn't met Pride just yet and didn't really know the full extent of the SIN's power. He heard stories about him but that was it. A dark chuckle escaped from his dry lips which made Elpis shake harder. It didn't calm him, now he was laughing and she didn't like the sound of it. She thought mentioning the forbidden name would at least make him think twice but all it did was anger him even more. « Why... why are you laughing Ares? » She dared ask the god whose eyes were now fully red due to his anger towards her.

« You debased yourself with a SIN? You could have chosen a god but you gave yourself to a weapon? It's. it's laughable Elpis. It's a disgrace. You are filthy, you need to be cleansed. »

He said, an evil grin on his lips. She realized he still wanted to take her but now with different motivations. Panicked, she started to punch his chest. He took the hits, laughing at her pitiful attempts at saving herself and even aroused by her combativity. « Go ahead. fight me. It would be even better when I will make you scream my name! » He said punching her in the stomach. Elpis eyes grew wide as the pain was going through her body and she couldn't help but spit golden blood on the floor. He released her arm to watch her take a few steps back, wiping the blood on her chin with the back of her hand and then running to the other side of the tent, he pushed her, forcing her to hit the throne and fall on her side, but she didn't stay there and grabbed the throne to lift herself up. He laughed again, watching Elpis fighting him until she couldn't arouse him even more.

« Get....away... from me. Ares. If Ishtar learns. He would-- »

« He would thank me! Your brother is like me Elpis! What do you think he would do if he learns you let a filthy creature fuck you? He would want to cleanse you himself, with his cock in your tight cunt! Is it even tight anymore? » He taunted her but she spat blood on his face as he bent forward her. « CUNT! » He said punching her face, making her spit more blood onto the floor and hit her face against the throne again. She was disheveled, bleeding internally as he started to kick her belly and thighs but she didn't break.

« Pride would find you.. and when he does, he's going to k, ll you Ares... He isn't a filthy animal.. he's even more refined than you are. He would never force me to give myself to him. He would never hit me... I am not scared of you. You think your cock would do anything to me? You're just prowling on mankind battlefields because you ain't shit in your pantheon and even less in mine. Go ahead.I won't even scream! » She said as he lifted her by her hair.

« Ah really?  What if I do this? »

He said, even angrier than before. She wasn't breaking even though she was scared of him. Her body couldn't hide her fear, her skin was covered in goosebumps, she whimpered and painfully moaned, she still looked at him straight in his eyes even though her lips were trembling. Now that he tore open her toga and exposed her supple breasts to him, she should have been ashamed and tried to cover herself but she dropped her arms and just waited for him to do his deed. Her golden orbs were gleaming in full force because she still hoped Pride would come to her rescue or would at least avenge her if he didn't know. She had hopes that Ares would die or at least would be punished for what he was about to do. She was scared beyond reason, preparing mentally for the pain she would experience by the hand of the god but she still had hope. it didn't die in her eye and the fact she compared him to Pride and considered him, Ares, inferior to the SIN achieved to blind him with rage.

While Elpis was being taunted and tortured by Ares, the minion of the Underworld succeeded in beating the minions of Ares and found his master. He informed him of what he saw and gave him the location so Pride could intervene. The sin lost patience, to say the very least. His minion saw his master unleash a large amount of power nobody ever saw before. His eyes were glowing purple, like turbulent oceans. He watched as his aura expanded in his office and suffocated him. He was scared of his master but he knew that whoever pissed him off would be in a worse shape than the minion was. How dared ARES take his beloved? How dared him TOUCH Elpis? Pride transported himself to the battlefield and walked without caring for the human lives he interfered with. As he walked they simply couldn't stand the pressure he created around them and exploded, partially or completely depending on how exposed to him they were and if they touched him. Bones, flesh, viscera, and brains were splattering everywhere around Pride who didn't care for a minute about his toga being soiled by human garbage. He found the tent and looked around, noticing the protective spells Ares cast there. So the bastard trapped Elpis inside? Was it how he operated? He heard the noises from within the tent, Ares grunts, slap and moist sounds and Elpis grumbles. From an outside point of view, it sounded as if Ares was already forcing himself on the goddess while in reality, he was trying to humiliate and break her mind with punches and slaps. He was punching her belly, still holding her wrists with one hand and lifting her body so he could reach out to her tender bruised belly. Beating her into submission managed to turn him on since her mockery earlier on killed his arousal and he was ready to go to the second part of his plan when Pride succeeded in breaking the spells he knew by heart.

« Now that you have stopped comparing me to that SIN scumbag, maybe It's time I rip your pussy open and teach you what a true god is made of. » He said dropping her onto the floor and watching her still trying to move away from him. He laughed and walked towards her with a hand on his loincloth when he felt the presence of Pride. His aura was threatening and suffocating and forced the Olympian god to turn around to face his opponent. « Finally! Here you are! » He said, eyes still fully red from anger.

« Don't look at me. » Elpis whimpered as she painfully curled into a ball in shame. He noticed the top of her toga was gone, he noticed her blood a little bit everywhere on the floor, he noticed the blood on Ares' fists and it was enough to drive him crazy with anger. Nobody witnessed Superbia's wrath and survived to tell.

« Elpis is mine and mine alone. Mine to touch, mine to cherish and mine to protect. How DARE you lay one of your filthy fingers on my beloved. » He began calmly, but he wasn't calm. She knew his voice and the tone he used was deeper than usual, which made her lift her head to look at him and notice his aura invading the tent. She had to protect the humans who were left for dead in the tent but Ares beat her up so hard that she wasn't able to crawl her way up towards them. She noticed as they started to whimper and beg for sweet release and mercy and started to cry as she knew it was only a matter of seconds before their wish was granted to them.

« This dumb bitch chose you over a god like me! It's like throwing caviar to pigs! You're nothing SIN, I am not afraid of you! » He said summoning his battleax. Pride hated two things in the world. Those who disrespected him and those who disrespected Elpis. It was a crime he wasn't willing to forgive so he wouldn't. His eyes were like tempests, always moving like tormented water. His anger was so huge that even his hair, once blonde, took a purple shade. He walked towards the God who started to laugh nervously because he thought that whoever tried to attack him without a weapon was stupid or suicidal. He jumped on Pride who stopped him mid-air with a flick of his hand, effectively paralyzing the god who started to growl. « What? What have you.. what have you done? »

« You shouldn't have laid a hand on Elpis. You shouldn't have insulted her. You shouldn't have brutalized her. » He said, his voice reaching several levels deeper. Elpis was still watching, curious as she never saw him angry.

« I should have raped her first! So you would have found your precious goddess soiled by someone else's spunk! Ahahaha if it's not me, trust me others would do the minute they learn she went with you! »

He was wrong, it was all him and the folks like him typical behavior. If anything, most of the gods wanted this union to work so maybe it would give them an opportunity of a truce. Others hated this relationship and wanted the SIN to die or Elpis to be punished for fraternizing with the enemy but never a sane god would have wanted to rape the goddess. Even among them, it was seen as a vile crime. Beings like Zeus, Ares, at times Appolo resorted to this crime more often than not, but not every god and goddess were like them. But at this point, Pride didn't want to know what was the truth and what wasn't. The simple thought of having Ares put his nauseous hands on his beloved body made his blood boil. The simple thought of him forcing himself on her, the pain he would bring her was unbearable. It drove him mad.

« So this is what you wanted to do to her? Rape Elpis? » As he spoke, the humans couldn't bear his aura that increased in strength and pleaded louder for mercy for those who could still speak.

« Cleansing would suit it better. »

Ares said with a smug grin. « I wanted her to take a real big cock, not some engineered cock. I wanted her to scream as I tore her tight little pussy apart. I am sure this is what you like to do to her. Does it feel good? This debased goddess pussy? Does it feel good? » He was taunting Pride, in hopes that he would make a mistake and release him but Pride didn't. His body color changed, gradually becoming purple along with his hair that now was like a purple flame. He was going mid-true form, only releasing a fraction of his actual power. Ares noticed he could actually move and landed onto the ground as Pride didn't flinch a muscle. But he was tensed and Ares noticed the difference in strength and power and felt his body still paralyzed but this time, not because of the Sin. Instead, it was natural. His body was experiencing fear. Pride relishing in the sight of realization from Ares, that he would not survive his encounter with the SIN. The aura was too much for the women who disintegrated themselves and died a merciful death.

« You think you are smart or better than any of us? You think that you are mighty and deserving of the power bestowed upon you? Ares, look at you, look at your peers. There is a reason my siblings and I were created and it was to cleanse the world from scumbags like you. » He started with before he extended both hands from each side of his body. «  You simply accelerated your death by taking what is mine and treating Elpis the way you did. Nobody hurts the woman I love! » He claimed, much to the goddess surprise and the confusion of the god of war who couldn't believe his ears. Pride then grunted and the front of his body started to shapeshift. It became some sort of void from where purple tentacles escaped from. Elpis could see teeth the size of Ares battleax and blinked as she couldn't believe her eyes but did understand what was going on. He was going to eat him. A la Gluttony. He was going to eat the god which was a worse punishment than a quick death.

« No ! Get off me! Don't touch me! » Howled Ares who tried to escape but couldn't. He was pulled into Pride by the tentacles that wrapped around his limbs and face. Pride's face was still human and he laughed darkly at the sight of the scared god before him.

« Now you are afraid, I bet you never experienced fear before. Lucky for you, I am here and I feel benevolent today. You will be slowly digested, for millennia inside of me and you will only feel pain and hear everything I do to Elpis. You will hear that goddess you coveted for so long gasp and moan as I make love to her or fuck her depending on our moods. You will hear her say my name instead of yours. You will endure the eternal pain until I have decided I had enough of you and digest you completely. Now COME TO ME ARES GOD OF WAR! » He yelled as he absorbed the god inside of himself. The void closed and he returned to his normal figure. Satisfied with the punishment he gave Ares, he rubbed his taut belly for a while and took a short while to let his anger subside and allow himself to return to his more friendly appearance.  His skin returned to being human pink, his hair returned to being blonde and his aura became smaller and smaller until Elpis could breathe again. She was laid on her sides, unable to move as the pain was taking over but she felt her beloved arms gently scoop her from the floor. She opened her only valid eye while the rest of her body was recovering.

« You came..... »

« Of course. » He said as for the first time she saw his worried gaze. It scanned her from head to toe, noting all of her injuries and groaned out of anger at the sight of her. She looked away and whispered in a broken voice.

« I am sorry... I tried to fight him off but he put spells and my powers couldn't hurt him and.. and I couldn't induce despair in his heart because I was scared. I tried to taunt him but it only angered him so much. I am sorry Superb-- » He shushed her and nuzzled her face.

It was an affectionate gesture he would never display outside of their intimacy but he felt relieved she was alive, and even more that Ares didn't go through with his plan. She fought hard, he knew it, otherwise, why would Ares lash out at her the way he did? And even if she didn't, he didn't blame her for what happened and would never. She wasn't the strongest physically and even less a warrior goddess. She was kind and soft and made others feel important and loved. She was delicate in a way, despite her foul mouth, despite her inner strength, despite her resilience, she still was delicate and he felt an urge to protect her even more so nothing happened to her.

« It's not your fault. You did what you were supposed to do. You've been doing this for millennia with him and with other gods! He decided to behave this way with you and it's his fault and his fault only do you hear me? » She nodded and closed her eyes. « I will tend to your injuries until you've recovered. Your eye might heal faster than the rest of your body. »

« I was so scared... » She said, finally sobbing as allowed herself to address her fear. He held her tighter, swearing to himself that he would never let her alone anymore, especially since the word would spread that she chose a SIN for a mate. He would protect her and would slaughter whole pantheons if he had to.

« I dealt with him. He is never going to touch you again. Nobody will. » He told her, holding her firmly but softly.

He snapped his fingers, teleporting them back to his headquarters where he would take care of Elpis until she recovered. It was the first time Superbia realized he could lose Elpis as simple as it was to sigh or snap his finger. She was a target and took the risk because of her love for him. He realized she might have sacrificed a lot just to be with him, much more than what he could if his siblings thrown themselves into the mix. He realized how harmed she could have been but how instead of driving her away from him, it only strengthened her feelings for him. Their relationship was forged in fire whether he wanted it or not but the more he looked at her and her loyalty, the more he wanted to fight to keep her in his life. As she fell asleep quickly due to her exhaustion, Pride petted her hair and kissed the top of her head « I love you » whispered at the tip of his tongue as he summoned a desk in his room to work from there while his servants tended to her injuries and he kept an eye on her. Ares warned him, he was the first, but Pride was ready to take on the others. He would destroy the pantheon as his father requested but this time it would be personal.
