rough edges

He spent centuries trying to tame the beast inside of him for he was ashamed of it. He spent centuries ignoring who he really was and living a false life. Chained up to an ideal he couldn't reach, he wasn't able to fully be himself. He wasn't able to live his life to the fullest. What was he, but a watcher of his own life, a puppet without a real purpose? He spent centuries trying to conceal the violence inside of him and behave as they wanted him to. He grew into someone who was frustrated with his life, who felt he couldn't be free or himself.

In the end, there was too much pent-up violence inside of him.

It turned him into a mindless beast. He gave into his basic instincts, into his craving for blood. He had to release the darkness inside so he did. His fists broke bones so many times that he lost the count. His hands ripped flesh and hearts, tore apart the skin, eviscerated his victims, all the while without feeling a thing. It was just an urge, something that devoured him from deep within like a monster. It was necessary to keep him sane. Violence, Blood, Death!! oh... Nobody could save him. He couldn't even stop it.

Or so he thought.
At some point in his life he met her.
She wasn't a saint, but she definitely was less of a sinner
And her light, her comforting light gave him hope.

She appeared out of nowhere in his life, and stayed there in his life, slowly eating her way out into his heart. She was beautiful and gentle, she was fierce and sensual, she was understanding and caring. He realized that he needed her, more than she would ever know. Indeed, the more he was with her, the less he had nightmares, the less he felt those dark urges. She appeased his soul and helped him feel different. What was that ? He didn't know. He couldn't know. All that was certain, was that he could not imagine his life without her in it. He was a man by her sides. Not the most honest, not the most romantic, not the kindest of them all but he was a man and not a beast. She eased his nightmares and she embraced his darkness. She was perfect to him but she didn't know it yet.

What was that ?
Was it love ?

He couldn't tell...Or so he thought.

IN THE NAME OF FATHER: MAIN CHARACTERS

Ashurato MogothThe king of the Underworld, 100 000+ Years old

A.k.a: The Destroyer of the Veil
            Race: Black Elf
            Ability: Black Magic
            Hair: white
            Eyes: white
            Skin: blue-ish

Ashurato's real name is long lost. All that remains of his story is that he was living in the First Age when the seven kingdoms were just one and some creatures didn't even exist. He was a powerful Elven king, one of the wealthiest if not the wealthiest of them all. He was also known for being cruel,  ruthless, and feared not only by his subjects but also by his enemies. His reign wasn't a quiet one for his people tried to overthrow him several times but failed. His magic was the most powerful existing at that time or so he said. Dark magic that made people tremble and shake in fear. Yet, it is said that he died by the hand of his own son, whose name was written off for his whole bloodline was cursed by the dying Ashurato.

When he reached the World of the Undead, the first thing that the King did was take a new name: Ashurato Mogoth. He also decided to plot against Bahamut's ancestors for they prevented his return to the world of the living. His hatred towards the living grew intense and with it, his powers. But the world of the Undead was not a quiet one and he had to fight to claim the throne. It took him several centuries before he was strong enough to fight the king of the Undead and make his own army but he made it. 100,000 years after his death, now powerful enough to be on the brink of tearing apart the veil between the two worlds, Ashurato was summoned by the human witch Dëerna and formed an alliance to accelerate the process in motion and faster the tear of the veil to set himself free.

Ashurato, when alive was known for his beauty. Tall, lean but ironically physically strong, the King of the First Land's skin was ebony with back-length silver hair and unusual emerald eyes. He was always wearing the finest fabrics and was fond of jewelry He always wore colorful fabrics. As the king of the undead, his skin is now pale-ish and his eyes turned blue, but his hair is still silver. He is now wearing dark clothes and seems to be fond of the purple/blue ones.

The circumstances that surround the summoning by Dëerna the Witch are unknown as well as her real plan but he doesn't care for it.  He doesn't wish for the destruction of life, but he wants to submit them to his will and rule both the living and the dead until Death swallows them all.

Bahamut Sann'DiThe king, 40000 Years old
            A.k.a: none
            Race: Black Dragon
            Ability: Necromancy
            Hair: black
            Eyes: blue
            Skin: black

Bahamut is the last pure Black Dragon still alive. With his daughter they are the only ones able to perform Dragons black magic and Necromancy. Black dragons were chosen to become guardians of the world of the living and the Underworld. Their task was to guide the dead to the otherworld and keep them there. King Bahamut fulfilled his duty perfectly until he fell ill, Almaryl took on the mantle but the witch broke her heart, thus preventing the queen from doing her job.

Bahamut was a king, heir to the throne of the Dragons Kingdom whose crown was stolen by one of his bastard brothers. He had to first conquer his land and unite the dragons under his ruling. Together with his wife, queen Ryween, they ruled the Kingdom wisely. He was the most gentle of the two and the least prone to go to war or rule with fear.

His reign was restless though. Indeed as his kingdom slowly but surely became the wealthiest and the most peaceful as well, it set fire and caused Jealousy. There began the  war of the Crowns. He ended up victorious and shortly after, Almaryl was born. Ryween's health started to degrade until she died. Soon his own health started to degrade and he started to lose his power. With him getting closer to death, the protection of the world of the living is becoming weaker and weaker.

Bahamut in his human form is a ridiculously handsome black man, with golden eyes and black eye sockets. His hair is short and black, curly at the edge. Unlike his daughter, the old king can't completely morph into a human, therefore his skin is scaly, he has a huge black horn on top of his head and long claws. He is wearing a  black and gold armor when he fights.

As a dragon, he's very tall and heavy. He also wears an armor that protects his belly and a helmet that protects the top of his head. Due to him being a pure-blood his wings are purple and his breath is purple. His fire is blue and his eyes turn blue when he uses his necromancer powers.

He is known to be a fair and kind king who will never hesitate to make sacrifices for his kingdom. He is said to be ruthless in battle and skilled, to the point that he remained undefeated for millennia. His strange disease has weakened him a lot and siphoned his life force but he is still the king he used to be. He will forever be known as the King who brought peace  and many people believe that with his death, the world would change.

N.B: Unlike what Almaryl might think, he had mistresses and bastard children. Three of them are noteworthy for they didn't die at a young age and they could try to claim the throne: Skaagar the beast, Urüre the Greedy, and Toromaï the Unlikely. Three sons who are not black dragons or so people say.

Ryween Sann'DiThe Conqueror, 30000 Years old
            A.k.a: none
            Race: Green Dragon
            Ability: super speed
            Hair: black
            Eyes: brown
            Skin: black

Ryween was the daughter of a Dragon Lord. Raised to be a warrior and a Conqueror, she very soon became addicted to the battlefield and proved to be a strong, wise, and fearsome warrior. She and her father won several battles but she soon grew bored of always extending her father's possessions. She chose a different path when she met Bahamut. Together they fought until Bahamut reclaimed his throne and he decided to make her his queen after falling in love with her. Ryween was known for her brutality, her lack of compassion, and her love for conquest. She changed the rules of the kingdom regarding the treatment of female dragons. In her land, unlike in many others, females and males were equals and a female could become the ruler of her land. Ryween, now a queen, forced her subjects to standardize this and thus allowed her daughter to become the legitimate heiress to the throne. She was able to raise her daughter until she reached maturity but died mysteriously from a disease even Bahamut's magic couldn't heal (let alone the Unicorns).

Ryween, as a dragon was tall, slim, and most likely to be a Wyvern rather than a dragon. She was beautiful and easy to the eye, green scaled with brown eyes. Her body was protected by light armor around her belly and skull. As a woman, she was not completely shifted into a human and kept some dragon features. For example, her horns and claws, a scaly greenish/brownish skin, and a long green tail. But she was also very tall with an athletic figure. It is said that she loved her daughter more than the realm itself and that her only regret was that she didn't have more time to spend with her. Nonetheless, she died like she lived, loved, feared, and regretted. Her father survived her and involved himself further in the princess' education but died during the War of Crowns.

N.B: Ryween was married once, to a warrior of her clan who died in battle. She had a daughter with him Kannä who was thought to be dead but was in fact stolen after birth.

Ichaböd KrumThe Armor, 7500 Years old
            A.k.a: Ian Kenner
            Race: Red Dragon
            Ability: Invulnerability
            Hair: Brown
            Eyes: green
            Skin: White

Family:

Ichaböd had always wanted to serve the kingdom, like his father Caraïn and the father of his father Jön. Ichaböd had always trained hard to become the successor of his father. First Blade of the King, he was supposed to protect Bahamut when his father would retire. Fate chose for him the day Bahamut fell sick and Almaryl became the Queen of the Dragons kingdom. At the beginning of the queen's reign,  he wasn't sure she was ready to rule. He changed his mind as she matured throughout the years and became a fine leader. Unfortunately, Ichaböd failed at protecting her from Dëerna's spell and the Queen lost her heart and with it,  her ability to protect the veil. Although he would never have been able to protect her, Ichaböd blamed himself for this failure and witnessed the Dragons Kingdom being ravaged, and his people being enslaved but managed to escape. Now living among the New Men and posing as one of them, Ichaböd had lost faith but not his Dragon's pride. He started to gather some of the free dragons who shape-shifted into New Men to gather a small army. He met the queen during one of the failed raids on a New Men town.  He offered his blade and thus began their journey.

Ichaböd is a very tall and handsome man with a sand skin tone and auburn shoulder-length hair tied in a tight ponytail. His eyes are emerald and bright and he has a scar above his upper lip. He is well-built and reasonably muscular. His body is covered with scars he earned on the battlefield. As a red dragon, he is larger than Almaryl with wider wings, and longer, and sharper claws. He is also not wearing armor for he is nigh-invulnerable. As a human, he often carries a couple of daggers for close combat He is also said to be one of the most durable lovers of all the kingdom.

Ichaböd is known for his loyalty to the royal family. He is very dedicated to his mission to the point that he annoys Almaryl. He is also very old school and proud of his culture, his people, and his traditions. He is also known for being very loving and faithful and very clumsy when it comes to his feelings. He might be more than just dedicated to his queen but is unable to let her know of his deep feelings for her. He's cunning and a fine strategist which is definitely helpful on the battlefield and for Almaryl's quest for revenge. He also longs for his home and the restoration of the great Dragons kingdom.

It is also said that he is a passionate lover and had been with several females, to the point that some said he fathered at least a hundred babies but those are only rumors and nobody knows if he's really that good in the art of the Almaryl seems unimpressed though and the fact she resists him is only fueling his desire and admiration for her.

Tiffäen SilverwoodThe daughter of the light, 7500 Years old
            A.k.a: Tiphaine Wilburg
            Race: Elf
            Ability: White Magic
            Hair: black
            Eyes: green
            Skin: pearly white

Tiffäen Silverwood is the new queen of the Elves. After the death of the forgotten King during the First Age and the death of his son shortly after, there only was one family powerful enough to rule the Elves' kingdom:  the Silverwoods. They consider themselves to be above all and believe that Bahamut's role as the keeper of both worlds is simply a “duty”. They despise the werewolves and vampires they see as abominations created by the First Men, while in fact, they ignore everything about them. They see dragons as pets they often bend to their will. The only race they felt connected with and respected a little more was the unicorns due to their purity and great magic and they were devastated by their genocide.

Tiffäen tries to be neutral when it comes to the others but she is blinded by the fear of enduring another chaotic reign like the one of the forgotten King. She is also worried about a second rise of the dragons and their retaliation on the seven kingdoms. Yet, somehow, she still believes that elves should never change the new order and treat poorly the dragons. While she sometimes lacks vision, Tiffäen is a strong woman, a cunning leader, and one with the wits and sharp tongue of her people. She is also very powerful and educated enough to know Ancient History. She also notices that there is something strange up in the air and discovers that it's because the black dragon has lost her heart and with the upcoming death of Bahamut, the world is in danger.

Beautiful (ridiculously beautiful) with long golden locks that perfectly frame her graceful face, Queen Tiffäen is stupendously beautiful. She is taller and slender than most New Men. Her hair is so long that she has to braid it several times to keep it steady, but it's still long enough to flatter her buttocks. Her face is angular and symmetrical and she usually wears a fancy made of glass and a silver crown on top of her hair.

She fought against Bahamut and Almaryl during the first war of the crowns and later on, a second time, where she witnessed the destruction of the dragons' kingdom, the genocide of the unicorns, and the enslavement of the Dragons. She is also secretly plotting to eradicate the vampires and the werewolves she still sees as an abomination. Yet, when Almaryl enters her kingdom and seeks both her help and the release of her people, she clashes with the dragon queen before siding up with her as a new Age of Darkness is about to come.

Almaryl Sann'DiThe Mistress of Darkness, 6000 Years old
            A.k.a: TBD
            Race: Black Dragon
            Ability: Necromancy
            Hair: Pink
            Eyes: Golden on black
            Skin: Black

Once upon a time, there was a world inhabited by dragons, humans, and other mystical creatures (unicorns, vampires, werewolves, dwarves, and elves). They respected each other’s realms and established good relationships, trading with one another, and helping each other. But the peace wasn’t to remain. Creatures started to hunt each other to steal their powers and their lands. Dragons were constantly threatened because of their power and the beautiful lands they owned. Many dragons were enslaved and used as pets, lowered to the same level as basic horses. They were sentient creatures, gifted with the ability to speak the words of men, able to perform magic, and keepers of the forests. They were the kings of the mystical creatures, or so they loved to think of themselves as such. Among them stood the black dragons, there were a few of them for their task wasn’t an easy one. Keepers of the the realm of the dead, they can perform the dark arts. They serve as the guardians of the world’s balance and ensure that the lost and confused souls of those who passed away remain in their realm and that the living don’t try to use them. An ancient war had killed almost ALL the black dragons but one: the legendary Bahamut. With the help of another dragon, the beautiful Rywenn the Conqueror, he claimed his realm back. He crowned Rywenn and together they ruled peacefully the Land of Dragons.

Almaryl’s birth was a complicated one. Her mother wasn’t able to hatch the egg because she was too weak due to a sickness that was devouring her body.  Crippled by her terrible sickness, none was able to explain, the Mother Dragon died inexplicably, leaving a mourning husband and daughter. The king decided to raise his child who eventually matured into a beautiful black dragon, reaching her full potential after a millennium. Unfortunately for her, Bahamut fell ill and his death is about to happen sooner than expected. She learned, much to her dismay that during the War of the Crowns, he had been injured with a pure iron blade that broke and left a shard in his chest, killing him slowly but surely. Thrust into royalty and duties yet prepared for such eventuality, the new queen started to rule. She had a lot on her plate since her people were still fighting the war. During a battle, the human witch cast a spell on her heart and broke it into several pieces that spread across the seven realms. One of them was found by the last unicorn alive in the realm of men and kept hidden by her. At the end of the war, dragons were decimated. Those who survived were enslaved and as time went by, their land was pillaged and the Kingdom was abandoned. The free survivors learned to hide among humans waiting for the day the queen would return. Weakened by the loss of her heart -which prevented her from performing necromancy-  Almaryl was ruminating her vengeance and tried to find her people.

It’s not easy to see dragons when they are transformed but their scales show up whenever they are experiencing a burst of emotions.  On a sordid night, after she accidentally killed a group of men who tried to attack her, she was spotted by Eleonore. Almaryl realized that it was a Unicorn and realized that around her neck she was wearing a necklace and pendant, the first piece of her magical heart. The two of them became friends and whenever the dragon queen found a fragment of her Heart, she would give it to Eleonore. For now, she has three fragments over seven and is still on a quest to conquer her realm back. Her path would be paved with traps and threats, the underworld is preparing to invade the world of the living, and the Witch who cursed her is trying to command the King of the Undead Ashurato. Almaryl desperately needs to find her people and put them to safety, deal with the traitors set her other people free. Could the Queen find the strength to do that?

Almaryl is a very tall and broad dragon. Her eyes are golden pools, where a little bit of red helps distinguish the iris from the rest of the eye.  Her scales are very slick, very snake-like, and reflect light, thus making the blackness of her skin even more noticeable.  Her silhouette is rather elegant but she is larger than the average female dragon. Her claws are also sharper and longer than the average dragon making her paws deadly weapons.  They can easily break solid rocks and even tear apart metallic gears. When she breathes fire, her scales take on red reflects and the more she breathes fire, the redder her scales become. Her wings are powerful and majestic, enough to carry her heavy weight on the battlefield. Her skin is very thick, making it almost impossible for steel and gunfire to injure her.  Her underbelly is incredibly soft and warm; it almost feels like a mammal’s skin, a dog with short hair. Her head is spiky and so is her chin. Her teeth are sharp and powerful; she can literally tear any flesh apart with them, even dragons, although it would be harder with dragons with thicker skin. She also has a long tail with spikes at the end.

As a woman, Almaryl is outstandingly gorgeous. Her ebony skin is flawless and smooth. Her eyes keep their gold color in the white-reddish sclera. Her cheekbones are high and lips are plump and red like blood and she has a mole on the left side of her square chin. She is thick but toned.  Her face bears a dangerous expression because she is stern and rarely smiling. Yet, her lips always draw a smirk when she is plotting or satisfied. She is hauntingly beautiful yet scary and on top of it all, knows it. She is tall and her silky bright black hair falls on her waist. She is a woman who might speak normally with words but whose true feelings are expressed by her eyes and eyes alone. Her presence is overwhelming and her scent intoxicating but she is soft and nice and warm once you learn to know her.

She is a strong fighter, able to handle a fight with or without magical powers. She was one of the fiercest during the War of the Crowns. Unfortunately, she isn’t as good at strategy as her father was. Her passion usually takes advantage of her reason and she ends up making risky decisions. She is also very young and takes inconsiderable risks to achieve her goals. But she learns through her failures and she becomes stronger every single time.

She is also very dedicated to her people and her duty, willing to make any sacrifice for their sake. But likewise, she is also very passionate and her feelings can go from genuine affection to deep hatred. She has no filter and nothing to balance her emotions except maybe  Eleonore or Ichaböd.

Like all dragons, she is VERY proudvery wild, and doesn’t trust easily. Yet, she was able to befriend the last unicorn and also a werewolf and a vampire. She realized that if she wanted to win her kingdom back she had to strike deals and play well to regain her powers.

She can be sweet and vulnerable but only shows it to very few people. Her anger is terrible and terrifying for she spits fire and destroys anything in her way in her dragon form but when she is in her human form, her magic takes control. she can also very easily break a neck or kill someone if not restrained.

Like her mother Rywenn, Almaryl is also keen to become power-hungry. She was taught to enjoy conquests and fights. She was taught to humiliate her enemies and that perversion might lead her nowhere good.

She is flirtatious, but it’s only a façade. She is no virgin but hasn’t properly “made” love to a male or a female. Sex is a tool for her, a tool for power. She manages to enjoy it, although no one ever blew her mind just yet. She is slightly confused about humans because she’s been living with them for very long. But the first feeling she has towards them is hatred. Rest assured that if anything, she simply wants to feed on them and decimate the entire race.

Ellyën DjooreThe Last Unicorn, 6000 Years old
            A.k.a: Eleanor Rigby
            Race: Unicorn
            Ability: Healer
            Hair: blonde
            Eyes: blue
            Skin: Pearly white

Ellyën Djoore is the last unicorn. Her people were the pacifists of the Seven Kingdoms and always tried to avoid war at all costs. They were magical creatures dotted with healing powers and strong white magic but unfortunately, because they lacked knowledge about the world, they were naive. Long ago, their people were in contact with very few other species but had developed courteous bonds with them until King Bahamut took his crown back.  It triggered the jealousy of the other kingdoms and started a war later called "the War of Crowns". Unicorns were trapped, kidnapped, and used by the other species against Dragons since they were their weaknesses.

Bahamut and his soldiers were forced to kill them all and saw the destruction of the Dragons' realm. Only one unicorn survived and used her last strengths to teleport to the Enchanted Forest, near the New Men's realm. There, Ellyën shapeshifted into a blonde human and did her best, using her magic, to hide her true nature. She also found a piece of Almaryl's heart and collected it. She is wearing it as a pendant she keeps inside her clothes so nobody can find it.

Now named Eleonor, the last Unicorn blended with humans and became a midwife/healer among the New Men. She soon became a favorite among people but also became an easy prey for violent/brutal men. Fortunately for her, she was always protected by good people and always escaped from dangerous situations. The day she met Almaryl, the pendant started to glow and she remembered the dreadful days. The dragon Queen protected her against werewolves and the two became friends and forced associates: Almaryl would give her the pieces of her heart she finds and Ellyën would protect them and protect her identity.

As a Unicorn, Ellyën is purely white, with silver hair and tail and crystalline blue eyes. She is not the tallest nor the fattest Unicorn but she is elegant and beautiful. Eleonor is a very sweet young woman, dedicated to the well-being of others. She's naive and scared of many things. She's also very innocent but determined. She's aware that she is the only one left and desperately needs to procreate so her race would not meet extinction but she hasn't found the right New-Man to do it with. She is a tall and slim pale-ish platinum blonde with beautiful and bright blue eyes. She is also very prone to use white magic and seems to have gained all the knowledge and power from her fallen kin, which could make her an interesting key to the story.

Urumaï SandburnThe Axe demi-man, 1500 Years old

            A.k.a: Killian Nigel
            Race: Dwarf
            Ability: dwarves abilities
            Hair: red
            Eyes: Crimson
            Skin: white

Family:

Father: Tumuraï Sandburn
Mother: † Sashana Sandburn
Grandfather:  † Durumaï "The Unbroken" Sandburn
Brother: Ounaï Sandburn

Background:

Urumaï Sandburn is the son of Turumaï Sandburn himself the son of Durumaï the unbroken. He is an infamous former lord of the Dwarves kingdom. Deemed too young to participate during the second war of the crowns, Urumaï crafted the infamous Axe “Retaliation” and laced it with a magic that was beyond his understanding and thus:  brought a curse to his family and wrecked Havok in the kingdom. That event caused him to be outcasted by his people and forced to find shelter in the New-Men kingdom. Since then, he tried to undo his spell and destroy "Retaliation" in vain.

He is a handsome, full-grown beard, redhead. Taller than the common dwarf, he's also very broad and muscular. He hadn't fought a war but was a capable warrior. His hair is mid-long and braided just like his beard and he is wearing a mix of the traditional dwarf attire and the more foreign human attire. He is also one of the first creatures Almaryl would meet and would gladly offer his Axe to restore the world to what it should be. Some say he might have a crush on the queen but others would claim that he only sees his redemption in her. What is true though, is that Urumaï is fascinated by the black dragon and desperate to absolve his family from the sin he committed.

He is an excellent warrior and a good advisor. He's also very loyal, fun, flirty, short-tempered, and fragile deep inside. Bonded to his family, he's very dedicated to restoring their glory days and is willing to write himself off of his lineage if it could help. His father is still alive but refuses to talk to him, his mother died from the shame and his brother refuses to even see him again and curses his name. All of them are hiding in the Enchanted Forest where they survive as much as possible.

Dëerna NyeenThe Witch, 1000 Years old
            A.k.a: Lucia Lowel
            Race: Human
            Ability: Black Magic
            Hair: dirty blonde
            Eyes: black
            Skin: Blue-ish

Dëerna Nyeen is one of the oldest humans to be alive. She is said to be the first female of the First Men but it doesn't seem to be quite exact since the First Men were born 3000 years ago. She is still a pure-blood because of the color of her skin which is blue-ish instead of the rosy-pale skin color of the New Men. As a First Woman, she can live as long as 1000 years and is connected to Magic and Nature. Dëerna is still looking like a gorgeous woman, despite her age and she is hell-bent on destroying humanity. She is a small and petite blonde woman with wild and curly blonde hair, huge black eyes with lots of eyelashes, small pink lips, and a small pointy chin. Her arms and back are covered with tattoos and she wears a tattoo on her forehead which symbolizes the third eye.

"The Witch" is not believed to exist by the New Men because the First Men died centuries ago during the Great War between the New and the First Men. Their knowledge is now lost and the New Men have no connection to Magic or Nature. Dëerna witnessed what happened to her people. She fought alongside the last King of the First Men and the love of her life: Giderön Aratheon and bore his child. Unfortunately, the Great War had her king killed by the New Men's king: Arthur Goldwinn, and she was so severely injured that she lost the baby.  The witch was forced to hide in the forest for a couple of centuries. She observed the New Men and once she knew enough to pass for one, she used her magic and wit to blend in and pose as a herbalist and healer named Lucia Lowel.

Slowly, but surely, she became important to the Royal Family and used her wits to control King Joffrey Goldwinn and convince him to prepare for a war against the other species. He began the war which would later be called the War of Crowns and she used it to collect the souls of the fallen creatures to summon the King of the UnderWorld. Queen Margareth and their children Kevin and Berenice Goldwinn suspected Dëerna to control the king through Magic but since they could not prove anything, they had to tolerate the Witch's presence by their sides. Little did they know that Dëerna had plotted to destroy the Goldwinn family and along with them the whole of humanity.

It is said that she and Ashurato share strong feelings for each other, for her madness and cruelty only match his but others say that she is doing anything she could to bring her dead lover and their unborn child to life so they could live happily ever after. But it's just legends.

Dëerna was already quite old when she fought alongside King Joffrey against the Dragons and was the one who stole Almaryl's heart and broke it into pieces she then spread across the seven kingdoms. She's said to have poisoned Queen Ryween and probably Bahamut as well.

Lucifer The Prince of Darkness, 800 Years old

A.k.a: Aleksander Spinhov (when he pretends he is a New-man)
            Race: vampire
            Ability: vampire abilities
            Hair: blonde
            Eyes: blue
            Skin: pearly white

Family:

Father: Lord Dracul
Mother: Lady Sonia
brothers: Several who were sired by his father.
Sister: Miss Aphrodite (natural child born from Lord Dracul and Lady Sonia)

Background:

Nobody knows exactly HOW Vampires were made. A legend says that they were born from the fornication of men and demons but others say that the God who rules them all decided to add another race into the mix and challenge the authority of dragons. They were born 10,000 years ago, right before the first war of the crowns but not knowing most of their abilities, a lot of them were slaughtered. They decided to retreat and swore to become more powerful to ensure their control of their land and later on, on the entire planet.

Prince Lucifer, although very young, became the favorite son of his father, Lord Dracul. Little to nothing is known regarding vampires except maybe for the way to kill them. Good old-fashioned sanctified wooden peaks and blessed bullets (bullets containing holy water and blessed by the pope of the New Men) but also powerful dark magic and at some point, black dragon's fire but it's rumored, that it has yet to be proven.

Prince Lucifer is seen as a vain and selfish man with good looks and a vision. He is also said to be ambitious and ruthless. He wants to overthrow his father who has been ruling for way too long. As a creature of the night and an undead,  he is well aware of Ashurato Mogoth's plans. He struck a deal with the King of the Undead but nobody really knows his hidden agenda. He doesn't seem to be very happy about Ashurato's insurrection but tags along for the moment.

He has long wavy gold hair with fair sapphire eyes. A strong figure with smooth skin. Long canines. He is always elegant and is seen wearing clothes similar to the trend in 1900 in France. He is also very well known for being so handsome that he made men and women faint and fight for him. He is driven by his passion and is bisexual. Lucifer is known for his tendency to plot against almost anyone and only root for himself. Today he could serve Queen Tiffäen's ambitions but tomorrow betray her for Obörin he sees as a rival, best friend, and lover.

Obörin SteelknightThe Ruler of them all, 800 Years old

            A.k.a:  James
            Race: werewolf
            Ability: werewolf abilities
            Hair: black
            Eyes: black
            Skin: black

Obörin Steelknight belongs to the newborn race: the Werewolves. There is no royalty but a clan system that was changed when Obörin reached his maturity. He noticed that the real strength of people was to be united, therefore, the werewolves must be ruled by a leader. He struggled his way to become the leader of the heads of clans. He would allow the clansmen to have their own rules and live the way they wanted to BUT they would have to follow the common rule whenever they interacted with other clans and of course, when there would be war, they would follow the very command of “King” Obörin. He calls himself the "Great Ruler", which is not being a King but is similar in fashion.

Obörin is Lucifer's strongest ally! Throughout the years, they became friends, lovers, and sometimes enemies but he is genuinely fond of the vampire and could give his life to save his. He is well aware of what is happening to the veil and has suspected the disease of Bahamut to be suspicious and realizes the negative impact the loss of Queen Almaryl's heart had on the world. He would definitely help her find the last remnants of her heart.

Obörin is a man of honor. He is also very committed to the survival of his people and would do anything to save them. Unlike Lucifer, he has no ambition regarding the conquest of the world or the expansion of his Kingdom. He is also very cunning, and patient, and tries his best to remain calm. He has a temper which causes him to turn into a werewolf and kill anyone who stands in his way. He is also not very romantic, unlike Lucifer, but a brute with harsh manners, unlike his people.

He is very tall and built like a tank! His skin is marred with scars, due to the several battles he endured.  His hair is short, and he has white tattoos on his left arm and shoulder. His eyes are black as well and he has stubble on his cheeks and chin. He is always shirtless but to make sure people notice he's the Great Ruler, he also is wearing a huge deep red cape, attached to the emblem of his people. He also has facial tattoos to indicate his status as a “king”. As a werewolf, he is tenfold taller, stronger, and faster. He has a very large mouth with huge fangs and solid and sharp claws.
