GOT (modern): Viserys and violence

Viserys had been in a couple fights in his youth. While he couldn't remember the reasons that led to them, he could still feel the burn of each bruise he received from his opponents. He could still remember the taste of their blood, the bruises on his knuckles from punching so hard that he broke their bones or dislocated their jaws. He could still remember their swollen heads, his swollen cheeks, the cuts on his lips, the rage within. He could still remember the surge of adrenaline from the first blow landed or the relief after he spent himself up. He loved to fight, he loved how it made him feel alive. He loved the sight of the other guy(s) battered into a pulp at his feet. He was feral, the one true Dragon King.

Gone were the days when alcohol and drugs messed him up so bad that he couldn't remember shit from the day before. Gone were the days when he would fight at the slightest provocation, just for the thrill of it. Gone were the days he lived so dangerously but it would be unwise to think that he got softer. If anything, he became even more dangerous because now he could predict, prepare, and remember the beatdowns he delivered.  That violence within him was not gone if anything, now he just needed a good excuse to lash out, something... someone to try his newfound patience out. If anything, Viserys became even scarier for the sound minds because he was in perfect control of himself and the level of violence he was willing to dish out at any given moment.

The only difference, at least in Bäahal's eyes, was that he was now fighting to protect his loved ones rather than simply for the love of drawing blood and breaking bones. This time, he was fighting with intent and a desire to destroy the threat to the point that there was nothing left.  Strangely enough, she wished she had a brother like him when growing up, who would protect her from bullies instead of being her biggest one. Perhaps, she would have had a different life if he wanted to protect her rather than destroy her. but that was in the past. Today, at least, when it mattered even more, Viserys was there for her.

GOT modern: Camilla Lannister

Camilla Lannister, the fakest bitch of all of Westeros and the meanest of them all. She is hateful, jealous, chatty and a "daddy's girl". She gets along well with Tywin Lannister (who is like a father figure for her), but despises all of his children. She has contempt for Tyrion who she feels is a disgrace to the family simply based on his disability. She feels that Cersei should have married a better man than Robert and should have made something more productive than be a stay-at-home mother.

Her biggest contempt was definitely for Kyra Lannister, who she feels was not honoring her father as she should. She wasn't dutiful, she was way too wild for her taste. Jaime? Well...  she curiously wouldn't say anything until Bäahal would enter the scene. Oh she hates Bäahal, she calls her "the half-breed" and she would do her best to ruin this relationship.  Bäahal punched her in the face after she called her a half-breed to her face. Needless to say that she ran to Tywin to cry about it. Ugh... she's the worst.

Got (modern): I promised my mother

I promised my mother that I would always live my life the way she would have wanted it.  She wanted me to be proud of myself and to always make sure I didn't disappear to please others. I wanted the Targaryens to accept me, I wanted my family to acknowledge me and to get it, and I was willing to go above and beyond for them just to be accepted. Not anymore. Not any fucking more.

GoT (modern): Find me again

/ When Cersei would wreak havoc between the two of them.

xxxxx

Find me again. Tell me that you love me.

I saw your face when you said we were done.

You didn't believe that shit. You didn't believe yourself. What made you leave? The rumors? Your sister? The false impression that I was bothered by our age gap? I'm not a child. Is it what you see when you look at me? A child? I refuse to believe those words, that insanity.

You can't possibly tell me you don't want to see me again when yesterday you were holding me in your arms, telling me the complete opposite! Is it Cersei? Is it my sister? I know she would not hesitate to tarnish your reputation if that meant we couldn't be together and as for your sister...Gods know what has guided her hand.

I don't care about our family feud. I don't care about what the masses find acceptable or not. You're not too old for me! You're not below me! I don't "deserve better"! I deserve you! I chose you! I chose you!

Find me again! Tell me that you love me.

Hold my hand and don't ever let it go again!

Got Dearest Kyra: I miss you.

Dearest Kyra,

There are days when I feel absolutely lonely. I trust your brother Tyrion to be a friend in my time of need but I long for the day we could meet again. I long for the day I would be able to see your face. I miss you, my dear friend. I have missed you from the day I had to leave Casterly Roc.

Being away from you made me realize how profound, genuine, and intense my affection for you is. A friend you are... A best friend... A sister and before the gods, once I will marry Jaime, I will become your sister-in-law.

I hope my letter finds you well and that you know how much I care about you and miss you. I don't know why I wrote it, I guess that I am upset not to be able to visit you. I know you have to deal with your own issues. You have so many enemies and I wanted to give you some support but I guess that until it is revealed that I have survived and they get on with the culprit of the siege, I can't leave the Red Keep.

But I want to see you.

I need to see you.

I will do my best to make it happen.

Best,

Bäahal Targaryen

Princess of the Seven Kingdoms

Modern GoT: Headcanons

 Headcanon: Marriage

Bäahal believes in fairy tales and happy endings. She is a sucker for weddings and loves in general and has always dreamed of finding her true love. Back in the day, she thought that Elias was the one, but the way he dumped her and cut contact with her sincerely screwed with her self-esteem. She stopped believing that someone would ever be genuine with her and would want her enough to marry her.

Things changed when she started to date Jaime Lannister. She's now surprising herself thinking about a life with him. First, a public one of course, where they wouldn't have to hide anymore, where she could even settle in with him, and finally perhaps, with them being engaged and eventually married. However, she doesn't want to be too fast and doesn't want to rush into something that could hurt both of them. So. For now, it's just a distant dream but something she would not object to.

xx

Headcanon: Heartbreak

Bäahal has had her heart broken several times already. Up until her mother gave full custody to her father, she had a happy life. Then troubles began. First, her mother died, then her step-family rejected her. Her father was trying to please everyone and thus allowed abuse to happen to her. Then her older brother died, her stepmother died, and her father fell ill.  Bäahal suffered from never being considered a member of the family (not even by the extended family). She was an unlovable bastard which had to be kept on a tight leash.

Her father's death achieved to break her heart and truly had her feel alone. When she thought Elias would bring her true joy, he was bought by Daenerys and broke up their engagement. It was a lot to deal with. Bäahal cannot hide the way she feels. It's almost impossible for her to hold back her emotions so of course, her heartbreak would be impossible to miss for whoever pays attention.

Modern Got: Freedom and excess

// Just a little random moment before her (attempted) assault.

xxxxx

Bâahal was wearing lovely white laced lingerie. It was a g-string body that complimented her curves very well. She wore a purple kimono that barely covered her plump ass and she knew it made her look good. She was blasting rock music in her hotel room and dancing to it, shaking her head while stomping her foot on the floor. She looked at her reflection in the mirror, enjoying how sexy she looked in that new gear. She ran her hand through her silky locks to push them off of her face and grabbed a bottle of Jack Daniels, to dance with, to drink from, to enjoy her life in her hotel room. There was something exciting in seeing oneself acting freely, with very few if not zero limitations to how sexy one could be. Bäahal was a gorgeous woman -and it wasn't even close to how beautiful she was-.  and she wanted to act slutty that night. She kept dancing, towards the bed, where her phone was, and grabbed it.

What would she do? She was in such a mood because of Jaime Fucking Lannister. He was not around and they had not seen each other for a while, which was frustrating the young woman more than she wanted to admit. She tilted her head and let her silver hair fall onto her chest. Her purple eyes had that mischievous gleam on for her mind was set. She would tease her Golden Lion. She would send him pictures of her solo session in her hotel room. Bäahal knew he would appreciate seeing those pictures, so she didn't hesitate and started to snap some. It would serve him right for making her wait for him for so long. It would serve him right, to be titillated and be unable to act upon the feelings he might have at the moment. Bäahal kept taking pictures of her gorgeous body from all the angles she could find, and she really let go, drinking in some pictures,  showing bits and pieces of her fine lingerie.

She was feeling hot, maybe hotter than what was reasonable. It had been a while since she'd started to see the Lannister. A couple months now, Not enough for it to be a year, but more than 6 months.  It'd been a while since the two of them got together and while they weren't officially "together", she considered Jaime like her boyfriend. He was her boyfriend. He was the man who was turning her on with just the way he said her name. He was the man she wanted to spend her life with. It was not just blind passion, no, if it were, they wouldn't have been working well together. Their family feud would have driven them apart from one another. Their family would have tried to break them apart but they didn't succeed in doing so. This relationship was for real, Bäahal was for real. She fell in love with Jaime and she would make him feel like a million dollars.

She kept dancing and snapped pictures before she lay on her bed. Her silver hair was crowning her face, and she started to feel hot and bothered. She was craving Jaime and the thought wouldn't leave her mind. instead, the young heiress started to indulge in some self-pleasure. Her hands roamed over her perfect curves, teasing her body, exposing some of her flesh while snapping some pictures. She would send Jaime most of them when he would expect it the least. He would see what he was missing by working his stupid job at his stupid company. Bäahal didn't care, at least, not when she was this turned on by the idea of having him open the door, aroused and ready to fuck her after all the tease she'd done.

There was certain freedom she had, freedom she hadn't felt for a long while. there was something she could do with the Golden Lion. He welcomed her the way she was. She was playful, she was kind, she was wild and all of her sides were welcomed with a joy she had never seen before. Even with her ex-boyfriend, Elias, she couldn't be free. She had to cater to his needs and make sure she didn't upset him for acting differently or for being extra. Was she really happy with him, or was she blinded by the fact he loved her, the unloveable child of Aerys II? Perhaps, it was a little bit of both. She wasn't experienced and she wasn't able to correctly handle her emotions. He belonged to the past, the present was much better and her heart soared upon looking at the dozens of pictures she had just taken.

She giggled while she texted Jaime, letting him know that he was missing out. He could have joined her in her hotel room. He should have joined her that night when she was needing him the most and wished he was there. Since he wasn't, she chose to punish him by giving him appetizers. He replied to her, quickly bantering with the young woman while he was still trying to end a very long and boring meeting. He missed her, he craved her and wanted to see her but that would have to wait. That would have to wait. Before he knew it, she sent him the slew of lewd pictures she'd taken moments earlier. The sight alone almost made Jaime spill his drink and he had to look away to keep his attention on the meeting. She was terrible. She was freedom and excess! She was his Firecracker and he wanted to join her.

GOT (modern): Carefree (short)

She was young, perhaps a little bit reckless, definitely naive but fundamentally sincere. She was a troublemaker, and sometimes joked about Fate having a heavy hand at this since she was the Sin of her father.

She tried to stay good, to stay true and to bring the family together instead of dividing it furthermore like her father did. Bäahal wasn't Aerys II. She wasn't a man who couldn't bring himself to doing the right thing. She didn't let passion go to her head and get the best of her.

But there were days when it was heavier. there were days where she couldn't handle the loneliness, or the lack of warmth. She grew tired of being surrounded with the empty shells the heirs and heiress she had to "connect with". she wanted true friendship, true love and a true family. She found a friend, in Kyra. she found love, in Jaime and her relationship with her family were slowly starting to change for the better... perhaps for the best. She was hoping.

Until then, she decided to be carefree and would  act accordingly.

GoT (modern): Jaime x Bäahal : JB

GoT: (modern): Jaime x Bäahal: JB

Bäahal rubbed her temple. her head was buzzing hard, so hard that she couldn't hear her own thoughts. she rolled her head to the side and felt how dry her mouth was. Hangover! That was a proper hangover and she was already mumbling a curse under her breath. Why did she end up drunk again? The silver-haired heiress rolled on the bed, so she could lay on her side. Her silver locks fell upon her face and she held onto the sheets. A groan! A sigh! and she licked her lips to moisten her plump lips. Come on, wake up Bäahal. Stand up! She tried to move her leg but it didn't want to move, so she gave up for the moment. Instead, she sighed in frustration again and rolled on her back. Her eyes stared at the ceiling and she rubbed her forehead again. It hurt. it hurt so much that she couldn't even begin to find a shred of motivation to leave her bedroom. so she would remain there. that wasn't so bad after all, to stay there.

There, in the darkness of her room, she felt free to let her imagination run wild. What if she wasn't alone in her room? what if there was someone else with her? She wouldn't mind some company. At first, she thought that she could leave her bed and try and see her sister but Dany had been avoiding her since they returned from Highgarden and Bäahal stood up to her. Viserys was nowhere to be seen and the dogs were great company but they couldn't talk and she wanted to talk. She closed her purple eyes and bit her bottom lip. Whatever, she could always imagine who she wanted to see. A Lannister. she wanted to see a Lannister. Now what she needed to know what who? Could it be the young and beautiful Kyra? Oh, Kyra Lannister... she was the unexpected friend.  Bäahal couldn't have imagined that in the sea of fakeness, there could be someone who would genuinely want to befriend her. Kyra wanted it. She was so gorgeous and despite the weeks that went by since their first meeting, the heiress didn't forget about her.

She remembered her voice, soft and silky. Her gentleness and the cute giggle they shared. She remembered the beautiful dress that was hugging her curves. she remembered the green eyes, the blonde locks. Most of what went on that night were forgotten due to her being tipsy, but the silver-haired woman could remember one thing: Kyra's warmth. She felt good next to her and she wanted to meet her again. Perhaps they could talk some more, joke about their family, dream about their future, free from the clutches of Destiny. That brought a smile to the young woman's face. She yanked her head back and opened her eyes again. The ceiling was particularly exquisite from this angle. Her father had it painted to suit the heiress' taste. He knew she loved the stars and had them painted with a special paint that glowed in the dark. her favorite stars. She could see the one at the center, the one that represented her mother. Next to her, there was her father's and in the middle of them, there was Bäahal. A message in her mother's native tongue was written on the right.

It was a quote from a book Sunni loved that would be read as such: "When two souls become one, they create something that lasts forever: a testimony of their love for one another. A bond that couldn't be destroyed, a truth that couldn't be denied." It was a lovely quote that was often cited by Aerys the II. Bäahal was well aware that her mother was the love of his life, the last soul on Earth he wanted to love. Losing her devastated him and he never fully recovered from this loss. She understood what that was. She understood how love could make one lose their mind. She was in love too. Her eyes closed again and she ran her hands over her chest, up to her neck, and then lifted her arms up. She was in love with Jaime Lannister, of all people! After having suffered a heartbreak so bad that the whole press went after her like vultures and fed on her pain, she found a way to love again.

They were Jaime and Bäahal: JB for those who wanted to ship them. It had a nice ring to it after all. JB was far better than Baalias! oh, how she hated when the press called her couple with her ex like this. it felt cheap, it wasn't romantic and it sounded like the name of a cheap car or perhaps a boat. JB was just the first letters of their names, something romantic that could be carved on a tree or written on a notebook discreetly. it was something that could only make sense to those who were in their inner circle and knew about the pairing (which was just the two of them). It was theirs. it was just theirs. Her eyes opened again and she started to massage the top of her head, purring in the process as she enjoyed her own touch. She was missing Jaime. That was the truth.

She wanted to see him, to crawl into the bed up until she could wrap her arms around his frame and lean her face against his chest. she wanted to fall asleep on him and feel his hand rub her shoulders, or massage her scalp to ease her into sleep. She wanted to feel his lips press kisses to her temples or forehead, reassuring her that he was staying there and wouldn't leave. The bed felt emptier this morning and the headache she was nursing didn't seem to help her think otherwise. She groaned and rolled again, this time in order to lay on her tummy.  she pressed her face to the mattress, in order to groan into it and shrugged. They were in a secret relationship and Bäahal feared that the obvious happiness on her face and the change of demeanor might catch the attention of her sister. Standing up to Daenerys wasn't a habit just yet and she dreaded retaliation from her.

What if she made a mistake? what if Jaime didn't want it to be serious? what if Daenerys was right and Bäahal couldn't pick the right guy? Her head banged harder and Bäahal decided to give up on trying to stay awake. instead, she just closed her eyes and curled herself into a fetal position to find some sleep. perhaps she would think more clearly when she wakes up later. perhaps, she wouldn't feel the need to be afraid. Everything was alright. Everything would be alright. JB was real. and Jaime was still with her, through the presence of the box he gifted her on Christmas. Everything was alright. And with that thought, she drifted back to sleep.

GoT : (modern) : Butterfly

GoT : (modern) : Butterfly

A/N: Bäahal was able to digest what happened with her ex-fiancé. In this piece, we see her struggle between the anger and pain it still provokes to this day and yet the changes she's going through. Sometimes, when someone hurts you, you can't just move forward and bury what they did. She's better today, but this wound is still not closed.

xxxxxxx

She misread the names on the guest list. Elias was never going to attend the charity ball. Why would he when it was notorious that the silver heiress was the one running the show? How could he properly present himself to such a public event with all the press that would be in both of their faces? He left Westeros like a coward all those years ago abandoning the heiress and breaking her heart altogether because her sister bought him. He did promise to never return, but that was years ago and she seemed to have moved on. He managed to let her know that he didn't care for her when she found him on social media, so Elias thought it was good enough for him to make a comeback.

With Daenerys' money, he managed to become his own person, a Dornish heir who still managed to build his own business without the interference of his father. This earned him the respect of his peers and his own father and of course allowed for him to have a successful life as a businessman. He met a Westerosi woman during one of his trips and the two became a couple but he made sure that she would be shielded from the press like Bäahal had never been. Elias never stopped looking for her, he devoured any piece of the press he could find about her. He watched from afar as she suffered from their separation and despite his guilt, he made a deal and couldn't fix the mess he was responsible for. Bäahal was so beautiful, even when she was sad and walking alone in the streets of the Red Keep, she was looking beautiful.

He followed her charity work, and had surprised himself with wanting to reach out to her, see how she was doing, apologize for the way he treated her before, but could he really do this? Could he walk back and pretend that they were ready to move forward? Could he be honest? He knew he was a shit person, he was an asshole and the last she would want to see so of course, he refused to attend this party. He couldn't humiliate her more than she would eventually be once the bad press would be aware of his presence in the country. He knew there would be pictures, probably interviews he would give and his name would be plastered all over social media. Their past relationship would be mentioned times and times again since she was hosting a charity ball at the same time he would be in the country. Elias knew she wouldn't have it easy and would have to put on a brave face in front of the media like she'd always done. After all, she was a lonely soul wasn't she?

But Elias knew nothing of the Dragon Daughter. He knew nothing of her resilience and strength and knew nothing about her pride. Bäahal when she was wounded, would always find a moment to lick her wounds but would attack sharply. One of the few things she held dear were her honor and that had her slap Jaime after Highgarden when his words went out of line. That would make her bite at the paps, and she would be even harsher if they were to actually meet again. Elias knew she would destroy him, and she would throw her pain at his face but what he failed to understand was that beyond the pain, there was anger. Upon hearing he was back in Westeros, the silver heiress needed a moment to collect herself. It did shock her, and seeing his face again brought back so many memories that almost choked her to near tears. Elias broke her trust and broke her self-esteem. His betrayal made her reconsider her ability to love and be loved but most of it, made her think that she didn't deserve to be. Because of him, she shielded herself once more, and still had trouble thinking that Jaime could actually care. Because of him, it took her some time before she stopped second-guessing his intentions. He cared for her, wanted her to be near otherwise he wouldn't go to such trouble. Elias made it harder for her, but he didn't prevent her from loving again.

In the end, love prevailed and she survived. She was better today, more beautiful than ever, and even more powerful and settled than she used to be. Yes, the family issues were public and she still was ostracized by most of Daenerys sycophants, but she was starting to build herself a life of her own, something she could cultivate on her own. The underground dance scene was challenging but rewarding and she made actual friends along the way. Her charity work was more and more visible and she became an expert, so to speak. She was a raw diamond that finally was being shaped and polished and no one, not even her sister could stop her from shining. On top of it, her heart was floored and filled with love, and discovering her own emotions, the silly butterflies, the hot cheeks and coy smiles made the woman look even more fulfilled and satisfied. This was intriguing -Daenerys was suspecting she was seeing someone, but still kept her distance from her since Highgarden- even the press and pictures of her on the press highlighted a shift in the woman's way of carrying herself. Still.... despite the anger that was boiling within her veins, Bâahal was still hurt to see that this person was in town. His presence was making her nervous and when she was nervous the only thing Bäahal could do was dance, so she went to train harder this time, pushing herself to her limits while the Charity Ball was still being prepared.

GoT modern : A distant memory

GoT : Modern: A distant memory

A/N : this one is just because I am obsessed with these two. <3 Another piece just to contrast with how bad her last relationship ended.

Xxxxxxx

« You gotta be kidding me ! » -Bäahal watched at the tabloid celebrating the engagement between Elias and another Westerosi heiress.-

It felt like a slap in the face, to see him smiling in the arms of someone else. It felt like a slap in the face after what he did to her. Bäahal couldn't focus on the Charity Ball organization she was doing and requested the room to be emptied so she could have a moment for herself. They executed her order without complaint, everyone knowing from the social media and magazines they all owned what was going on. Elias and Bäahal had always been a couple followed by thousands. They were young, they were hot, they were in love with each other. They were always together wherever one or the other went and always with big smiles and loving gazes.

One would have thought they would get married after he announced their engagement. But instead, he broke it off suddenly and just left the country to return to Dornes. At this point in her Life, Bäahal had no idea that Daenerys orchestrated his departure. She still didn't know that Elias was paid to leave her and even if she knew, while part of her would have been angry towards her sister, the other would have been angrier at her « fiancé » for choosing to leave her. But at this point, she didn't know anything, only that he left her.

They always left her. Whoever she grew close to, would one day decide to disappear? The fear of being left behind and not wanted was deeply rooted in the silver head heiress for she had always known situations like these. She could barely sleep that night, let alone be able to rest because she could feel a punch in her stomach and a pang in her heart. She just had a nightmare involving Elias her ex-fiancé. Seeing his name in the tabloids, boasting about his new fiancée really cut her deep and awoke memories she thought were gone. But Elias left and he didn't give her any closure, so of course, the wounds would remain deep and bleeding-still.

She was young and even more naive. Young and reckless. This was puppy love, but to the 25 years old, those felt like a fairy tale. Elias noticed her at a charity ball, he came to her and the two started to dance all the while placing more and more money for the Charity. He found her charming, he told her he wanted to see her again. She, the « ugly duckling » of the family had someone who looked past her name and her « origin story » to focus on her. Magical, improbable! So she fell for him and she fell hard. She remembered him calling her beautiful, watching her dance, supporting her in the underground world of dancing, and showing their love everywhere he could. Oh, they were plastered everywhere, on every social media at the time and the lack of privacy became her nightmare. She remembered when he vanished someday, with just a note stating he wouldn't return to Westeros and wouldn't want to see her anymore. That she wasn't good enough for him and he didn't even love her to begin with. Those words hurt her to her core.

She remembered how in one grief-stricken act, she gathered all of his presents and threw them in the trash can she then lit on fire. Oh, how she had cried that night, thinking the most horrible things about herself, thinking she couldn't be loved because it would always end this way. She remembered how she crouched in front of the fire, arms wrapped around her legs like a child as her hopes and dreams went to flames. He simply vanished, telling her that she couldn't be loved and wasn't enough. He who just moments earlier was talking about buying a place for the two of them, living a life made of false promises. That cut too deep. Daenerys knew that Elias was causing her sister distress and would always use him as an example as to why Bäahal should have listened to her and should do so now. He got engaged, to a Westerosi, after having said he would never come back to the country. The truth was, he simply didn't want her and made sure she couldn't find him until she did.

Do you remember being young and reckless, being desperately in love, and wanting to keep in touch with the love of your life? Well, that was Bäahal up until she was able to find his phone number and call him. He was so cold, so distant over the phone, claiming that he never loved her and to never try and reach out to him again. That broke her into million pieces and the trust she had in people vanished overnight. She accepted that they would be around her because they were her sister's sycophants or they would want some sex, which she sometimes gave when she was in need of some. Bäahal partied and she partied hard, drowning her sorrow in the only thing that wouldn't betray her -Dance-. She felt free only when she was dancing and knew that nothing or no one could take that joy away from her. She swore to herself to never fall in love again because people weren't honest, not with her that was.

But she failed, and she failed hard.

Her heart was beating fast against her ribcage, forcing her to roll her eyes and try and breathe. It was over, why was she still hurting? Elias was a coward, a boy who got cold feet and who decided to abandon rather than have a mature conversation. Elias wasn't what she deserved. Yes he cared for her, yes they spent magical moments, but that was it, it was supposed to be short-lived. He found love again and perhaps she should be happy for him. As her fingers traced the magazine she then went to the list of guests for the ball and noticed that he was taking part in it. He was coming and with his fiancée as well. Her eyes grew wide and she felt her breathing becoming labored. no. There was no way she would assist at his unabashed happiness without doing shit about it. She was panicking so much that she grabbed her phone and searched the names on it. She found Jaime's and suddenly it felt as if the whole world had stopped spinning for a moment.

The panic and the stress went away as she was now feeling warmth overwhelming her body. She stopped moving for a while and put one leg on the chair she was sitting at. Her left arm wrapped around her calf while she leaned her head against the knee and held her phone with her right hand. Things had been different now, there was Jaime. She had tried to contain her emotion for him from the moment she realized that she wanted to be with him more than usual. She tried to measure things up, tried to be reasonable, but this young woman was anything but reasonable. Her eyes set upon the older man, amethysts vs Emerald's eyes on that night at the club. Ever since she keeps looking for him, seeking his company, feeling his warmth. It was the only thing that mattered to her. Jaime. The way he made her feel, his presence in her life..They never really put a name on what they were, never really tried to consider it anything else but « their time », « their secret lair », « their space ». It was theirs, whatever happened. She was his. She was his.

The thought calmed her enough to bring a smile to her face. Jaime was nothing like Elias, he knew what he wanted and he told her what he wanted -before he took it-. Jaime was not shy, nor easily scared. He was a man with a position of power in this society, a man with ambition, a man with needs. He found something in her that he couldn't find anywhere else, perhaps it was her kindness, perhaps her softness, perhaps the joy she was finally able to show between four walls. With him, she was simply Bäahal, a curious and enthusiastic young woman who wanted to bite life and spare nothing. She was eager to live, eager to discover, and eager to love someone. She gave most of it to her dogs but was more than ready to love someone again and it had chosen Jaime.

She sighed deeply, her hand ran through her silver locks as she was thinking of how to handle that night. Elias might simply ignore her, or perhaps he would want to talk to her and flaunt his happiness? no. He was too much of a coward to come and talk to her. Paparazzi would be there, licensed photographs as well and she wanted this ball to be a success. She would look her best, dashing and ravishing in a white dress with red and black accents, the colors of her Family Crest. She would make sure that the night would be forgotten by no one and when journalists would come and ask about Elias, she would be able to proudly say that she's happy he's moved on and wished him a happy life. And with this resolution, the ache in her heart disappeared. Replaced with beautiful thoughts of Jaime instead.

GoT modern: Plans, plans, plans

GoT modern: Plans, plans, plans

A/N : our babies <3 <3

XXXX

A firecracker and a Golden Lion met at a bar. What could possibly happen? Well....lots of things happened the night Bäahal and Jaime met. Like two moths to a flame they couldn't help but be drawn to the other. At the end of the night, he let her know he wanted more of them together, more of such a powerful moment where there was no second-guesses, no plans, just pure unadulterated pleasure and a desire to be with the other. She'd never experience this before, not like this. The one and the only person she dated was a man who had to try a lot to get her attention and showcase with his behaviour that he was serious. She did fall for him, after a while, because she felt he was indeed genuine and they were having a lovely relationship, only to have it crushed when he vanished without a word and blocked her everywhere. She managed to find his contact through a mutual friend but even then he rejected her. That was harsh, which prompted her to keep her heart guarded and Dany unbeknownst to Bäahal, used every opportunity to manipulate her sister. She wanted Bäahal to keep her heart closed off and only accept the suitors she felt would honour their family. It would have been a Lady Di all over again, in part because since the Death of Drogo and her miscarriage, Dany believed that loving someone would only cause distress and she wanted to spare it to her sister. BUT, she also wanted to have some control over her.

The firecracker realized over time that what she was doing with Jaime was far more than just quickies or surprised visits to his place. It wasn't just physical and sexual. With Jaime, they could talk about anything and everything. They sometimes brushed over the family drama, essentially what Bäahal was going through, and he would sometimes talk about his father and twin sister. Tyrion was never left out, but he only had good things to say about him and would usually just limit the conversation about how he loved his brother and would protect him from everything and how happy he was that he found his own ways and managed just fine. Bäahal was okay with not knowing everything that happened to this big family, even she didn't know all that happened in hers, but she felt relieved that they would speak together, without any reservation. What she loved more was the morning after, when she woke up to him. Jaime would often wake up before Bäahal did and he would grab a book and read while she was sleeping. He would watch her form, her adorable snores, the fact her body was relaxed next to his and would delight in her awakenings. She would always search for him even before her eyes could adjust to the light. She'd call him, move her arms just to hit against his body and relax once she was sure he was there.

She loved those mornings because Jaime stayed unless he had an early meeting so he left her on her own but always with something in the fridge to eat, some things to do and instructions as to how to close the secret lair when she left it. It was becoming a habit for the two of them, so much so that she was considering bringing a few clothes so she wouldn't have to bother with a bag any longer. She loved when they cuddled, and he ran his hand through her silky silver locks and would look into her purple eyes. She loved when his arms would strongly pull her against his frame and he would press kisses to her forehead. She loved when her arms went around his waist and she pulled him closer to her frame. His cuddles were fantastic. His scent was heavenly, his stubbles just tickled her and all she wanted to do was to rush her fingers into his beard and scratch it. She fell for him, as simple as that.

It became obvious when he got mad at her for what happened with Bronn, despite not having any reasons to be upset since they weren't an « item », yet he was jealous. Yet he was upset. Yet she was upset too and the whole thing made her realize that she fell for him. It naturally happened and she didn't fight it. Instead, it rejuvenated her and made her blush hard. Her and the Golden Lion? Her and the one her sister would forever hate? She and him? She didn't ask anything anyway, but to spend time with him and be happy with him. Would come a time when she would be honest with him, but it wasn't now, it wasn't now... so for the moment she was savouring each minute spent with him. However, she did want to go out, leave the secret lair, perhaps go to a restaurant, go to a club and dance together or have him watch her dance for him. She wanted long walks by the beach and the opportunity to enjoy other people company together.. but maybe there was the issue here. Maybe that wouldn't happen.. after all, he first said he wanted to keep things to themselves.

GoT : moderne : second chances -Viserys x Kyra-

GoT : moderne : second chances

There was a moment in one's life when they are presented with a choice. Either continue with their bullshit or change. Viserys wake-up call was at Dornes. His possessivity and violence took a turn to the worst when he allowed himself to stab a man who was getting too close to his princess. It was a split-second decision and yet, he managed to take the worst of them. The reaction of the beautiful blonde was enough to draw him back to a corner. He realized that he went too far and that he was perhaps the monster as his father and siblings called him when he crossed the line. He could still remember, as he showered in Kyra's bathroom, of all the bad he'd just done. The blood that he smeared on the walls of her bedroom, on the doorknob as he tried to enter her room. He remembered the blood he smeared on his perfect pale face and that he had troubles washing off of his skin. He remembered her face. The face of terror and fear. She was afraid of him, of what he was, and what could potentially happen to her.

This was too much for him to handle. The heartache seemed impossible to wipe out or drown with the soft ways he had at his disposal. Party planning wasn't fun anymore, he didn't care for hard drugs. The occasional blunt help him suffer less and wine had always been a trusty companion but it wasn't enough to make her go away. It wasn't enough to make the memories of their first time on that plane go away. The tenderness with which she was holding him, the kisses, the fingers scratching his back, marking him with her claws. He couldn't forget the way she moaned his name, asked for more, and played with him until he was on his metaphorical knees for her. They bonded like he never bonded before and in one gesture, the dragon prince ruined everything. But he wanted to remain sober, he needed to remember everything she made him feel. So began a long fight with himself, without the support of his family given the horrors he made them live. How could Dany respect and support the man who kept abusing her when they were kids? How could she respect the drug addict he became? Bäahal was terrified of him, and for good reasons since he beat her up, so badly that she still had the scar made by the metallic tip of his boots. He kicked her so hard, she had a lung collapse and nearly died that day. That was when Rhaegal took him apart and scolded him. Calling him a disappointment.

He tried to remain sober and succeeded, despite the friends trying to bring him back into this type of life. Angel, his best friend, and musician of his band was always creating situations where Vis would usually just give in to the appeal of whatever drug that was presented, but he rejected each and every one of these, claiming to want to remain sober. Much to Angel's dismay. But this sobriety helped him. It helped him write a new EP that sold well and he performed at night at private parties. That helped him realized that he fell in love with Kyra and needed a second chance and getting his shit together. That helped him be vulnerable in front of her, admitting to his faults and to his triggers. His father's betrayal, his mother's poisonous words he grew up with, the violent fits because he was the second son, the less than perfect son, and the guilt of surviving Rhaegal. Seeing Bäahal still trying to save him and bond with him was the straw that broke the camel's back. He wasn't worthy of her affection, let alone her desire to save her family. He wasn't worthy yet. He still had to make amends to her, but one thing at a time. Right now, he had a second chance and he took it.

Who would have thought? That, in a span of a couple months, someone he just met randomly, with the desire to annoy her like he so casually bantered and bickered with her older sister would become so important to him? She saw past the smoke, past the addictions, and saw the good in him that even he hadn't seen in years. She put him back on track, accepting, however, that he was an asshole still and accepting that he might have a hard time staying sober. She still accepted this. All she requested was that they communicated, that they trusted each other, that they were only for one another. He dropped his head in the shower, letting it wash his neck while he gently hit his palm against the tiled wall. He could do it, and if he managed to make her happy, then he will be happy because nothing mattered more to him than her smile and her happiness. He prayed to the seven gods old and new that they would help him.

Got modern : The music box

As soon as Bäahal returned to her room, she quickly closed the door behind her. Her heart was beating hard, harder than she expected it to beat but she was happy. The few days spent with Jaime were worth the wait, worth the unpleasant start of the night. He had all the reasons in the world to be angry at the situation, even at her. She knew that to have to endure Bronn detailing in excruciating details how much he wanted to fuck her, definitely didn't do Jaime much good, and understood how he felt and why he first welcomed her in such a cold manner.  Oh, she could still remember how her heart sunk as she felt that this would cost her relationship with the older Lannister. for a brief moment, she couldn't breathe, convinced that she couldn't make up for what happened and he would never want to see her again. It went fast, her head spun around but it soon became clear that he wouldn't give up on her.

Instead, he held her in his arms. he kept her close to him. Instead, he talked to her. Her eyes grew wide as she remembered the way he was holding her, keeping her close to his frame as if he was worried she would escape. she let him go, not knowing what to expect but understanding he needed his space. she let him go and come back, this time holding a gift for her. Christmas was a long time ago but they both were so busy that they didn't have a chance to meet after the holiday. Bäahal did gift him with bobbleheads representing the two of them holding hands but she never heard back from him, nor did she think he wanted to have anything to do with her after "Highgarden". yet, he came back with a gift for her.  She was holding it in her hands, still carefully closed, and quickly sunk onto the floor, resting on her heels as she dropped her bag, removed her leather jacket, and tossed both aside. on her lap was the music box Jaime gave her and a soft smile just graced her features as she tucked some silver hair behind her ear.

He had it made just for her. A beautiful music box that sang the song that played at the club when they first met each other. she felt her legs go weak when he first revealed it to her. she felt her heartbeat so fast that it almost poured out of her ribcage. she felt it, the tingle in her heart, that moment she knew she was hooked and he was far more than just someone she had fun with. It became obvious now, to the young heiress, that Jaime mattered to her far more than she pretended he did. his opinion of her mattered, his desires, his joy, and simple gestures such as gifting her a music box with the song that played when they first met.  that had to mean something, she thought to herself as she opened the box to listen to the music. that had to mean that he cared for her and she was important to him. that had to mean something, she repeated, unable to stop smiling at the ballerina dancing to their song.

He remembered she loved to dance, he might not have known she was a skilled dancer just yet, but he remembered. The fact he added this music brought tears to her eyes as she had not anticipated that he could remember such a tiny detail, but he did. without warnings, she felt tears run down her cheeks as she enjoyed the music and the delicate sculpting of the box. it was hers, it was innocent enough to be overlooked by her sister to be able to remain in her room undisturbed. as she wiped her tears, the young woman just closed the music box again and kissed the top of it before she put it on her lap. she knew things wouldn't be easy, mostly because as soon as Daenerys would hear she came home, she'd come to see her.  but for a while, she would have something from him in her room, something that would empower her, something she could look at and that would remind her of him. Something that would remind her of how he felt about her. Someone out there did have feelings for her. Someone out there, knew Bäahal for who she was and she knew it now, she had the proof of this in her room. She had it.  It was all that mattered to her.

GoT modern

The silver head went to the large window of the living room. It was heavily raining outside and the dark clouds were covering the sky with their gloomy presence. Drogon and Rhaegar were playing together, happily barking at one another and running around the youngest heiress of the family. She was wearing a large sweater, an exaggerated man-sized grey wool sweater.  Her violet amethysts were staring at the window, at the garden before her drenched with the rain and she crsoeed her arms above her chest. She sighed deeply and rubbed her arms together. she tilted her head to the side, allowing her massive silver mane to fall onto her back and shoulder and sighed heavily.

Her eyes were wet from the unshed tears and puffy and red already and that had her sigh and relax her shoulders, ignoring the dogs that were still playing around her and pushing her legs. They had became a little more energetic since their brother's death, always making sure the other was around, and always making sure they could play together. Maybe it was their way to deal with grief? with joy and fun. The idea seemed lovely and Bäahal decided to keep make it real. Maybe that was what her family could have done when they lost Rhaegar, come together through joy and laughter. His death unfortunately tore this family apart, with everyone pointing fingers at everyone.

Aerys was stricken with grief, upon losing his older son. He had placed so much hope on Rhaegar and wished for him to become the true successor of his empire. Rhaegar was a beloved son, a famous bachelor and a genuinely good soul. He accepted Bäahal, comforted her, taught her some dance moves and athletic figures. He had listened to her cry on his shoulders for several nights. he had patched her wounds, kept her safe at school from people who picked on her. She never felt alone when he was alive and since his death there was nothing but a hole in her heart. Viserys became even more withdrawn and violent. Resented by his father for his violence, feared by his sisters for his angry outbursts, smothered by his mother...He spiraled when Rhaegar died and refused to join his siblings in their grief.

Daenerys closed off. Her father made her the successor of the empire and burdened her shoulders. Her mother poisoned her ears with her venom and she was left in between all of this, fearful of her surviving brother, wanting to bond with her little sister but stuck in a place she had not asked for. slowly but surely they picked her apart and forced her to become just like them. the best of the best, the worst of the worst with little to no room to explore herself unless  when she was with Khal Drogo.

None of them played with the other, they never got close to one another, never even shared a tender moment together. None of them cried for him together, instead they all withdrew in their quarters and let the walls of their rooms witness their tears. None of them took the time to mend the other hearts and filled them with love. it just disappeared.  it disappeared.  Bäahal swore on her father's grave that she would do anything in her power to bring this family together but wasn't sure of how to proceed. how to make it happen.  she owed it to them to fix things and make them realize how much they needed one another.  Both her siblings rejected her but she knew that deep down, both of them were just hurt.

Yet, all she could think of, on rainy day like this one was the new friends she had made. It was Kyra and her kindness towards her that moved her and made her reconsider her ability to make friends and be worthy of it. She reminded her smile and the laughter they shared while talking at the gala. It was Jaime and the warmth of his arms around her frame, the heartbeats that calmed her at night. He knew how to love her body, how to care for her soul and he fed her starving heart with feelings she never knew she could feel again.  He made her forget about Elias, the one who got away. He made her forget about the pain of being left behind. he gave her hope and now that she was staring at the violent storm outside, all she wanted to do was to run into his arms. lay next to him and enjoy some hot coco while reading a book.

Yes, it was true, she had fallen in love with him but decided to wait a little more just to be sure of her feelings.  The realization simply made her smile and she put her hand on the mirror, smiling at how surprising Life could be.

Got Modern Jaime x Bäahal : Falling for him

Seeing him angry for the first time since they met, had somehow messed up Bäahal. She had never seen him like this, angry at the way her sister treated her, angry at the way she responded to it. Angry at the way she didn't see her value. Most of the people she'd met before wouldn't even care about her feelings, but Jaime did. It would have been easy to consider his anger as unjustified but the heiress knew he was right to be angry.

She had been mortified to hear that Bronn had called him to talk about what happened at Highgarden and what he wanted to do to her. The moment Jaime mentioned it, the moment the silver head wanted to open up a hole and die there. It couldn't be, yet it was. shame overwhelmed her, anger, and while she did confront her sister later that week, she could still remember the heavyweight that fell upon her shoulders. Yet, there was more to it than just an angry fit. Jaime cared, he genuinely did and that day, something inside her just clicked.  something inside of her just had her wanting to stay with him, something made her heart quiver at the thought that perhaps... she was feeling far more than she let on.

Jaime wasn't a one-night stand. he wasn't someone she'd just meet and fuck. Jaime was someone that meant to her more than she understood at this point. she wanted to spend time with him, yes, but she also cared about his opinion -on things and her especially-, she wanted to make him happy for her, proud of her. she found herself asking for his permission to stay all night long with him -permission he actually gave since he let her in, but still, it had to be verbalized-. She found herself wishing he let her in, so she would have a safe haven for a couple days, far away from family. far away from her troubles, and a chance at dealing with his anger. the very first he had for her/ not against her.  She wanted a chance to sleep in his arms, far away from the world where they would be the only two souls. she needed the safety of his arms, the warmth of his body, the softness of his lips. she needed him... she wanted him..; could it be that she was falling for him?

Modern, GoT: Do you know ?.mood piece-

Modern, GoT: Do you know ?.mood piece-

Been listening to this one : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApXoWvfEYVU

xxxxxxx

Do you know what that feeling is, when I'm looking at you? I'm not really sure of what it is, but it's there. I have butterflies in my belly when I look at you. Yeah, strange isn't it? But I like it. I have this stupid smile on my face when I read your texts, some of them make me blush hard, others got me all hot and bothered and some have me gasp. You know how to surprise me and make me smile. Always. I'm looking forward to hearing your voice when we call each other. There's just this feeling of not having enough of you when you're away, you know? I am always checking my phone, hoping you'd text me, hoping I could text you something...always seeking interaction with you.

Do you know what that feeling is, when I'm looking at you? I don't know what it's called, but I do like how it feels. When you're next to me, it's like the whole world had stopped spinning. There's nothing around us, just you. Just you and me. Just you and your gorgeous smile and your beard, and those long blonde locks. There's only you Jaime. I only see you. I don't want to go against those emotions, I love that you care for me, you know? When I'm with you, I exist and I matter to you. It's probably going to sound a little desperate -my bad-, but I think no. I know I need you in my life because I want to feel that way again, and again.. it feels good you know? To be in a healthy relationship with someone? To be wanted? To be listened to? It feels good...

Do you know what that feeling is, when I long to see you again? You're all I can think of when I'm not with you. I always wonder if you're okay if you're doing fine, and I can see you on social media, see you on tv, think of you day and fucking night... You're dreamy, my Golden Lion...Even when I am at my greediest, when my senses are acute and I need relief, my thoughts are only for you. My hand becomes yours, my touch is your touch in my hand and I can remember how good it felt to be with you. I can remember just how much I want you and it is your name that I scream into my pillows at night. I think it's called being thirsty and only you can quench this thirst.

Do you know what that feeling is when you and I are together? I think I do know how it is. I have felt it a long time ago and promised myself to never let it happen again so I wouldn't suffer again. Yet, I failed... I am failing... I am falling for you. The whole situation with Bronn helped me realize that I was starting to grow uncomfortable with the idea of you thinking I could bang someone else. -Although in that case, it wasn't what you thought-. I grew uncomfortable with the idea that you thought I wouldn't be exclusive. This... whatever this is that we have.. our time, our thing.. this is only for you and nobody else. How could it be, when you're the only one who makes me skip a heartbeat? How could it be ?....

Modern (GoT) : Her older brother

Modern (GoT) : Her older brother

A/N : Memories of Rhaegar: this song has been tearing my heart apart. I remember this anime, it was quite something, really. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oedAqSpze7I

It was just so tragic.

Xxxxx

Bäahal was at the private gymnasium of the Targaryen's palace. Since Rhaegar's death, her siblings rarely went to the gym -although perhaps once a week to maintain their physique- so she was most of the time alone. In the room dedicated to her, Bäahal was doing backflips. Just as she was doing the fourth in a row, her feet slipped and she fell on her back. The fall was quite hard and brutally cut the air in her lung, shocking her body a little bit and triggering a memory. Years ago, when she was still a teenager, Bäahal was trying to learn how to do backflips. She always failed and found herself on her ass quite often, much to her frustration. After yet another failure, she hit the floormat with her fists and growled lowly. Hearty laughter could be heard and made the young girl collect herself and sit on the floor.

Rhaegar was standing only a few steps away from her. How come she had not heard him enter the room? Was she too absorbed by her training that he was able to slip into her most sacred place? Blinking, she lowered her head and crossed her legs, taking a meditative position on the floor. Bäahal had always been on the fence with Rhaegar, never quite knowing what he wanted or who he'd defend. He usually and clearly loved his siblings and she had seen him laugh with the sociopathic angry pile of nerves that Viserys was. Yet, she also saw him protect her from said Viserys and his violence. The injuries he gave her with the metal tip of his boots left scars that were now smoothed out by time but very visible for whoever took a good look at her ribs. The crop top she was wearing didn't conceal those scars but she didn't mind when she was alone.

« Did you come here to mock me, Rhaegar ? » -She asked, feigning to be detached from his presence. But he could tell she was tense.-

« No. By the gods old and new, no! I came here because I was wondering where you've been. I know you like to train here sometimes. » He added, outstretching his arm just so she could grab his hand and stand up. « What are you trying to learn this time? »

«......No, seriously. Did you come here to mock me? » She asked, looking at his hand for a minute before holding it and standing back up. « Because I won't allow you to, not in /my/ space. The others would never bother entering my room anyway, so why do you? »

« I'm not like the others. They have their issues but I know your heart, Bäahal. » He smiled at her and grinned when she accepted the hand he gave her to stand up. « I repeat my question then, what are you trying to learn here, little one? »

« Little one ? » -She wrinkled her nose before she gave him a crooked smile and stroked the tip of her nose. It was said in an endearing way, similar to when their father called her.- « Mmmhh.. I am trying to learn how to do a backflip. » She finally told him, shrugging a little bit as he grinned even more widely and smacked his hands together.

« I'll show you how. » -He chuckled at her dumbfounded look.- « Come on, Bâahal. It's one thing I know how to do. You'll see. »

Back in the reality, Bäahal was looking at the ceiling, her breathing became more regular so she was able to sit on the floormat. Her heartfelt a pang, tugging at the strings of nostalgia. She was missing her older brother. Rhaegar was patient, loving, and caring. He spent as much time as possible with each of his siblings, including Bâahal. Her fingers traced the scars on her ribs, remembering the horrified voice of her brother as he grabbed Viserys by the collar and pushed him away from a bloody Bäahal. The incident was so horrific that even her step-mother, Rhaella, acted kindly towards the young girl and had her injuries tended by the Targaryen family's doctor.

She remembered the sharp pain, the coughs, and the tears mixed with her drool smeared over her bruised face. She remembered the anger in the voice of her older brother, who punched Viserys for what he did, much to everyone's surprise. She remembered his words as she was being stitched back together, how he said in front of everyone to treat her with respect because she was just like them, a collateral victim of all of this. She remembered the faint voice of people around her, and then just like that, the face of her departed brother flashed back in her memory. He'd just showed her how to do a backflip and was smiling, a smile so bright that it could have blinded her if it were a little brighter. He then helped her do it, first with his hands placed on her back and behind her knees so she could flip safely. After a few attempts, she finally did it with his help, so he removed his hands and took a few steps away.

«You're a good kid Bäahal. » He finally said, as he was catching his breath.- « You're a good kid. I know, I reacted badly when you first came. I was upset at dad for not telling us about you, then mom freaked out so we all did. » He then paused and put his hands on his waist. « But you're a good kid, you're a lovely sister and I hope you'd allow me to get to know you better. »

« Rhaegar.. » She tilted her head to the side, considering his words. « Let's say, that if after what you taught me I can do a backflip, I let you in. »

« Deal ! »

She did one and screamed her joy before she waved her hands and tried to do another one which failed. As she fell on the floormat, the air being cut off of her lungs, she opened her violet eyes and stared at the ceiling. A grin crept on her lips and she started to chuckle before she patted on the floor and her brother came and sat next to her. Her eyes were deeply looking at his face, a strange warmth overwhelmed her and she tapped the floor with her fingers. She had a brother, one who would look after her. She then went on and listened to how he met this Lyanna Stark and how she'd made him understand that the world wasn't only about Targaryens and he understood their father in more than one way.

It was enough to make the real one shed her tears as she felt the pang in her heart become more intense. Rhaegar was gone now, killed by a car accident. All that was left after he was gone was her dying father and then nothing. She pursed her lips and let a couple tears fall onto her cheeks. She bit her bottom lip hard and dropped her head, allowing the disheveled white locks to fall onto her chest and the floor. She simply wept, still smiling through the tears as the memory of her brother reminded her of a good day she had in these walls. She understood that loss was meant to remind the living of the dead and that in a way she was celebrating him.

modern! Got: Sins of the Father

Got: Sins of the Father

// My dysfunctional family. <3 poor Bäahal, she clearly didn't ask for any of this, but perhaps a subtle change in the power dynamics could do something.

Bäahal ran, as always. She ran away from the wrath of her brother who couldn't stand to see her face and would lash out at her because she dared speak to him. The young woman fled the palace for the moment, unable to feel safe within its heavy walls. She let her feet drag her to the private Targaryen cemetery, and as if she'd memorized the number of steps needed to go to her father's grave, she found herself in front of Aery's last home. The sun was high in the sky, brightly shining above her but that didn't seem to be enough to dry the tears that were flooding on her face, nor did it prevent her from falling onto her knees before curling herself into a fetal position in front of her father's tombstone.

Viserys, as usual, couldn't stand the sight of her and was still irritated when Bäahal tried to befriend him. His knee-jerk reaction was to slap her face when she mentioned taking a stroll with the dogs together and going to her favorite coffee shop. He took offense with the casual tone in her voice and the genuine desire to talk to him. He took offense because he saw his father in her and because she kept trying to see what was good in him despite the horrors he made her go through and that didn't sit well with the “prince”. How could he forgive Aerys for destroying his family by having an affair with someone who wasn't in the family? He fell in love with a commoner, spawned a child, and broke his wife's heart. Sweet Rhaella fell sick and died because of Aerys because she felt betrayed twice. First with the affair and later with the child she had to raise. He traumatized his son, let him spiral freely into violence, and even had the audacity to die before his son could confront him. All that was left was Bäahal and by the seven gods did she look like him.

Bäahal had always been a sensitive child. She'd known from the very beginning that something was off. Her mother hid her tears well, but not enough for her child not to notice. Aerys did fall in love with someone he later abandoned because he had a family of his own. He condemned Sunni to a lonely life, with a child she had to raise. No matter how much she loved the child, she was a single mother. Bäahal recalled how torn her mother was at the idea of letting Aerys meet her. She recalled the heated arguments between the two of them, the screams, the hugs, the kisses, and the passion that transpired through their interaction, and that was understood by a child this young. She remembered the excruciating pain she felt, later on, when her father insisted on taking her to his family in order to raise her as a proper “heir” to the Targaryen empire, he was building. Her mother hated him for taking her child away from her, but she was grateful and hopeful that he would give her a better life than she could. And then she died suddenly, leaving her only child with just her father.

Bäahal had always been a sensitive child. She knew that her very existence caused problems around her. She could tell that her step-mother and siblings didn't want her around. It wasn't even personal, it wasn't her fault but her father's. She was the embodiment of his sins and none of them could stand to look at them. She was the living proof that Aerys cheated. It didn't matter if he fell in love or if he tried to be fair to everyone. From the moment he brought the kid to his family, he had destroyed everything he had built and while he gave his children as much love as possible, she could tell that he was unhappy with how things went. His last months on Earth were filled with regret and sadness. While Bäahal took him on his daily strolls, he kept apologizing for the way he treated her and the pain he caused to her and her mother. He kept telling her that he couldn't help himself but chose love instead of duty and that because of him several people had a miserable life. But no matter how many times he had apologized to Bäahal that didn't change the hatred others had for him.

That didn't change the pain he caused to his little one, nor did it alleviate the anger they all had towards him. Rhaegar and Bäahal forgave Aerys before Rhaegar died a horrible death. The eldest son of the family managed to accept Bäahal and saved her from her other brother's scorn. Bäahal nearly escaped one of Visery's angry tantrums that had him nearly beat her to death. It left a few scars on her back, where his metal boots pierced the skin but they softened over the years. He was so angry, so hurt and so were the others, and Bäahal was left in the middle of this hurricane, alone. This morning was nothing new to her. Viserys was like an open nerve, bleeding profusely and leading him to self-destruct -although, she did note that he had been doing good lately. Apart from the occasional smoke, he had been sober. Daenerys had all the weight of the world on her shoulder and was still hurting from the loss of her first husband...Bäahal, well, Bäahal needed the arms of her father around her, telling her that everything would be okay but he wasn't here anymore, he wasn't here.

Perhaps, everything would have been simple if you didn't have me.” She sobbed but quickly shook her head because she didn't agree with her own words anymore. “No. you should have been better, father. You shouldn't have made me the scapegoat of your sins. You shouldn't have left me alone! But you know what? I'll show them that I can be happy. I'll show them that I can have a better life than this. I can love, I can be loved and I can be my own person. I will make a life of my own too... I promise you... I promise you, I will knock their walls up, I will break the cycle, I will save everyone starting with myself.” She sobbed, holding some dirt in her hands. Perhaps she would manage to do it, perhaps the connections she had would help her set herself straight. After all, she made friends. yes, they were the "enemies" but they were her friends. one of them was even more than just a friend, he was her Golden Lion.  perhaps her first sentiment was the right one but, either way, she was alive now and that was all that mattered.

modern!Got: JAIME X BAAHAL: MAJOR EVENTS TIMELINE

 Modern GOT:

Ø  Bäahal meets Jaime at a club (his). She’s a socialite and he’s a businessman. Both heirs of an insanely rich family.  They have sex that night. Jaime offers to see her again.

Ø  Bäahal is surprised that he wants to see her again (he texts her first), but she’s excited because she loved their moment together. They have a connection there, something easy, fast, and perhaps strong was formed on that first night.

Ø  Jaime brings her comfort, a sensation of companionship, he makes her laugh, he makes her feel good.  She is a lonely soul who’s never had a lot of luck with people because of her sister.

Ø  They spend a day together after Christmas where they both give each other a present.  Jaime learns that day that her family isn’t really forgiving her for her existence and he’s the first one to ever give her a present since Rhaegal died.

Ø  While they’re very busy, they find a moment to text each other. Bäahal constantly talks to him or calls him. She needs his voice, his arms, his smiles.  It doesn’t matter to her that he’s 15 years older than her. She loves his company a lot.

> first argument ever: Bronn talked to Jaime about how much he wanted to fuck Bäahal and what happened at highgarden. he didn't take it well.

(it’s growing, it’s something very new but I am very fond of them. I would love to keep writing them of course because there is just a strong connection between the two of them. It’s phenomenal. I am very protective of them and I want them to keep going.)
