Klasma: confrontation with Marcel
"I have to ask, Klaus. What is it that you see in her?"
"It is none of your business what I am doing with my witch, Marcel."
Marcel could not help but smile at Klaus's claims. He was aware of how sensitive the hybrid was when it came to his private matters. If he didn't care, he would have shrugged off Marcel's question and would have answered it with a sneer. To dismiss this question so easily and with such an annoyed face betrayed how important the witch was for the hybrid. Marcel stroked his chin before he shrugged his shoulders, in an attempt to conceal his own emotions. Deep down, he could understand Klaus because he also had a witch he cared about -Davina- and he did his best to hide her from the rest of the world. He was well aware of how much danger she would be in, should her existence be known by both vampires and witches. She would be branded a traitor by her kind because she helped Marcel, and vampires would want to kill her on the spot because she was a witch. At first, Marcel was using the girl for his own selfish gains, but he genuinely grew to love her as his own daughter.
" I see. Well, I will not dig deeper into your entanglement with your beloved witch."
"Watch. Your. Tongue!" - Klaus's voice became deeper, and he flashed his fangs at Marcel-
Klaus categorically refused to talk about Neela. He refused to dig deeper into his thoughts because that meant he would have to put a label on the relationship he had with her. He refused to start because deep down, if he did, the hybrid knew he would completely fall for her. He would be so deeply in love with the witch that she could manipulate him like putty in her hands. He would become reckless and restless as he would do his best to protect her. He refused it because if he welcomed it, he would expose himself to heartbreak. What if she pushed him away after making him believe that he could be loved as he was? What if she died because he could not protect her? Neela was powerful, and she did not need his help to protect herself, but Klaus could not shake off the desire to protect his mate...No! to protect the witch. Klaus groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose.
He could not be vulnerable, no! He could not be yet, Klaus felt his heartbeat go faster upon thinking about her. He saw her face and the toothy grin she sported whenever he crossed her gaze. He saw her golden eyes glow with delight and warmth when she saw him. He wanted to see her, and he wanted to hug her, or smell her, or.. Wait? Was he smitten over? Yes! No! Was he...Marcel was observing the hybrid and his subtle reactions. He really was into that witch; regardless of what he was claiming, it was written all over his face. Could it be? Could Klaus really allow himself to feel again? He had not seen him like this in centuries, and that made him wonder who that witch was and what she did to make the fearsome hybrid fall for her. He cleared his throat and spoke in a calm voice.
" I know that this is none of my business; however, I need to know if she will become a threat to our kind."
"You speak as if I would willingly bring someone who could destroy us. Marcel, I am disappointed in your lack of faith in me. She is powerful, yes, but it is much better to keep her at a close range and make a friend out of her rather than a foe, don't you think?"
"This is wise, indeed." -he gritted his teeth- "I will keep an eye on her. It would be best if she did not become an enemy. It would be a pity to have to kill such a beautiful woman."
"Yes... A pity indeed. Are you done questioning me, Marcel?"
The vampire raised both arms up and took several steps back. His usual white grin graced his features, and he left the room. He already knew that he could not push the topic on Klaus and would not have the answers he wanted. However, by not saying anything, Klaus revealed that he cared for the witch far more than he should have. He was willing to keep that information to himself and use it when an opportunity would arise. Klaus realized, maybe too late now, that he really gave away the one thing he was desperate to keep between the folds of his tortured mind. He actually cared for someone who wasn't a Mikaelson.

Colby: Something was off
Mary was sitting at her vanity, her hands holding onto her towel as she dried her hair with it. Her green eyes stared at her reflection for a moment, and she slowly put her towel on her lap and her hands on the vanity. Were they safe? In Tommy's line of work, it was almost a given that they were moving targets. He always had enemies, whether as a Peaky Blinder or as an MP. They could not remain safe for long because Tommy would always have enemies. He would always want to find bigger, stronger, and more vicious than he was. Tommy was seeking death, wasn't he? And the realization made Mary's soft eyes express a deep melancholy. She put the towel on the vanity and dropped her head as she was now holding back some fresh tears.
One could believe Mary was feeling sorry for herself, but the truth was that Mary was feeling sorry for Tom. After all these years, Tom was still suffering from wounds too deep for Mary to heal. How could she when she did not know most of it? They shared the loss of Grace and the loss of John... And so many other traumatic memories that it would not be right to consider that Mary did not understand how Tom felt. To some extent, she could, but obviously, there were so many things she could not even begin to understand. She lowered her gaze to the vanity and her hands. Her fingers curled into fists, and she chewed at her bottom lip. She could not get through with Tom; that much was true, but she could always try.
The young headmistress-in-training swallowed a lump and dropped her head further down, and she rested her chin against the back of her hands. Mary knew she was strong. She knew Tommy and his distance and his silence didn't mean that he did not care. She knew that He cared for her deeply, in a way ath screamed love without words. She was his family, the woman he loved and the woman he wanted to protect. There was no doubt in her mind about his feelings. However, there was still a deep seated fear in her heart. She was scared of losing Tom by his own hand. He could become careless and rush towards danger. He could let himself die - No... No of course not!- She noticed he became more and more forgetful - He always passed it off as being busy- He was paler and his sleep was even worse than before. Something was going on and she had no clue..
For now...

GOT modern; Stepping out in public
It all happened in a blur. Baahal couldn't remember what happened before Jaime and she stepped out of their car and onto the red carpet. All she knew was that he comforted her and gave her the little push she needed to fully overcome her stress. Jaime had a way with words. He always seemed to know what to tell her at the right moment. With Jaime, it felt as if there was just the two of them in the world, and tonight was no exception. She did not mind the photographers, the flashes, the yelling. She did not mind the screams from fans who watched from afar as celebrities stepped onto the red carpet. She did not care, as long as Jaime was holding her hand. Their entwined fingers, his warm body next to hers, and his intense yet warm presence brought her considerable comfort while facing the press.
It had become a hot topic of discussion all over the internet. They had been seen in public, exchanging pleasantries and polite smiles instead of the usual feud between their families. It happened so many times that rumours of the two of them dating started in chatrooms and Discord servers. Then they were seen talking to each other, smiling and laughing as if they were old friends, which fueled the rumours about them dating, which by this time had turned into full-blown ship wars. Suddenly, their fans either started to support them as a dream couple, thinking that they were a match made in heaven. Others, however, were cursing the very idea of Jaime and the heiress becoming a couple. Some were partial to the Lannisters or the Targaryens and had taken their family feud to heart. Others were more interested in seeing Jaime date another woman and for Baahal to have other suitors. Ultimately, it was all the streets were talking about.
The silver-head heiress managed to give elusive answers to the relentless questions about her love life, claiming that she was focused on herself and her role as the Targaryen's ambassador, but the truth could not be contained any longer. Obviously, a couple of days after Jaime agreed to go public with her, they both went to Naath for a short holiday. Paparazzi caught them kissing and acting lovey-dovey during their holidays, and it simply broke the internet. While the silver-head did not care about what random people had to say about her relationship with Jaime. These people had no impact on her life whatsoever, and she was already used to being criticized. She even used her infamous nickname "Firecracker", which was used against her, and turned it into an endearing nickname used between Jaime and her. What she was afraid of was the reactions of both their families,
As expected, Daenerys and Viserys were furious. Viserys was trying his best to become a better person, but he managed to say how he felt about this relationship in mean and angry terms. Daenerys disapproved but decided to remain silent. Instead of arguing with her sister, she decided to stop talking to Baahal completely, to the point of making the young heiress feel a sense of dread overwhelm her. It was to be expected after all. Dany upheld the family feud and refused to watch her sister stray from what their father had wanted. The silver-head knew that she had to go through with it and stay strong. She wanted to be with Jaime, and she was ready to face heartbreaks to do it. It was worth it. Her love for Jaime and the love he had for her were worth fighting for. So she braved everything to be with Jaime that night. Her smile was big. Her face was lit with a light they had not seen in a long time. She was happy. They were happy and in love.

Windora: Mise au point
After her bath, Lux dressed back up and sat on the bed in her hotel room. She had to gather her thoughts to know exactly what her next move would be. Despite what Dalmas Stejic said, she could not fully accept that Roustain was the Elder who was not dead. She did not reject the idea, but she needed more evidence of his survival than a couple of letters written by his trusted people and passed down to the Hermit vampire. One true thing, however, was the fact that there was an elder vampire on the loose and one who might destroy the vampire society as she knew it. Lux could not care less about the fate of those who rejected her - Or so she thought-as long as her father and brother were safe.
She was determined to let them know the result of her investigation and to urge them to leave the vampire society while they still could. She had to share the information with them as soon as possible, even if that meant she would have to investigate further and bring solid evidence of her theory for them to believe. Lux thought that she could not waste any more time. She could tell Aurelius about Frederic Roustain having spies on her, about her meeting with Dalmas Stejic, and about the fact that the skull exposed at Frederic's mausoleum was of a more recent type of vampire, which at least indicated that it wasn't Roustain's skull. She would talk him through her reasoning in hopes that he would be receptive to what she was saying.
" And what do I do with Jake? I need to see him again." -She surprised herself by claiming it out loud- " Dumbass, it's dangerous for him. I know he is a hunter, but still... I can't possibly want to bring him to my family..."
She blushed. What would be the reason she would take Jake to meet with her father and brother? She thought it was swift, compared to how things had gone with her late lover; she hadn't even waited as long this time with Jake. She desperately needed him to meet with her family and to have them approve of him. Somehow, it could have a lot to do with Lux feeling that if she did not do it, she was missing something. She would not have the opportunity to do it again. Maybe, deep down, it was the way her heart was telling her that she was falling for Jake, and she was certain he was the right one. How could she be so sure when they did not see the worst of each other? The redhead bit her bottom lip and furrowed her brows. Yeah, how could she be so sure that Jake was-- wait, why would she even think he was the right one? Sure, they hooked up, they had great chemistry, but wasn't it all just sex? What could possibly attract her to him besides his impressive physique and his addictive blood?
Who was she kidding? Lux enjoyed spending time with him, whether or not they had sex. She loved to be in his arms; she loved it when they cuddled before falling asleep. She loved the way he lightly snored when he was sleeping and the way his chest heaved up and down when he was calm. She loved his sense of humour and genuinely laughed when they were together. She could be herself, without having to change who she was. He embraced it all, the claws and tail and fangs. He embraced her completely. She also knew that there was a darkness inside him, a pain they never spoke of but was ever present in him. She recognized it because she was the same. He was laid back and cool, but sometimes his face was dark. Sometimes she saw the tears he could not cry anymore on the stigmata worn by his body. She knew that he was hurting inside, and while she could not fully grasp what exactly was plaguing his soul, she could tell he was in pain. She recognized it because she was the same.
She bit her thumb and furrowed her brows harder. The vampire wanted to see the human again, and she wanted to find some comfort. Deep down, Lux wanted to have someone who could comfort her. Yes, she wanted to be comforted. She wanted to have some support because she was exhausted. She felt that she could trust her special human, and he would be there for her. Why did she trust him? She could not find an explanation, but she knew that she trusted him with her life. He embraced her true nature without flinching and seemed to seek her company. So yes, it felt natural for her to seek his company. It felt natural for her to want to see him and to take him to meet her family. So she grabbed her phone and texted Jake.
[Text: Puppy] "I want to see you again, puppy. I need to see you TBH. I need your cuddles and to talk. I am in Montana right now, so tell me where you are and we can meet halfway."
