Bäahal's purple hues were looking at a portrait of Jaime Lannister. He had been away for a while now, enough for her to notice his absence. Her memory brought her back to the ship that took her home. Alone in their cabins, they were able to explore their relationship, to realize that they had a bond, a true bond that couldn't be broken. He gave her his heart, his loyalty, his adoration and she gave him hers. The promise of coming back. The promise of being together. He promised and she wished he would keep his word. She wished he came back already, so she could shower him with love but her heart knew that she would have to wait some more because Daenerys still had not given her blessings.
What if those blessings never came? What if they were to be apart from one another? the princess knew that she wouldn't be able to handle the separation. She knew that she would be unhappy. perhaps, merely doing her duty for the sake of her kingdom. She didn't want another man to touch her, let alone try and claim her. She didn't want another person but Jaime but she knew that true love might never win. Daenerys might have been lucky with Jon Snow, but Bâahal might not be. She couldn't be...She wouldn't be...Why would Fate bless her with luck? Why would fate be cruel? She couldn't know, she didn't know, but she sure wanted to still believe. Jaime would come back. The love of her life would return and she would manage to steal moments of joy while still advocating for their union. Because Love deserved to be fought for. Because he deserved to be fought for. "
