Mary is a vibrant and confident woman who overcame a lot of adversity in order to make a life for herself. She is kind, loving, and mischievous. Mary is very funny, she loves to be silly and to make jokes with her friends. Mary's resilient, given the living hell she endured, her life, and her desire to do better for herself. She's made a life for herself, opened her shop, made friends, and found a family. While she is nurturing and gives her attention and affection to others, willingly offering her shoulders to rest on, she hides her pain and hides it well. She used to drown her sorrow with alcohol but the death of her brother was the trigger to her path of recovery and a healthier life. Mary doesn't like to talk about herself, she doesn't want to open up about her issues because she thinks they are too much to deal with.
