DOYA: MAJOR EVENTS TIMELINE

 MAJOR EVENTS:  DOYA:

Ø  8 years ago. They meet during a vampire hunt. Oya decides to stay with the Winchesters.

Ø  6 years later. She and Dean have grown closer to each other. They already share a bed.

Ø  Oya finds the monster that slaughtered her family: the Asanbosam. Dean helps her hunt it.

Ø  She gets her scars, two deep cuts on her arms after she’d been recklessly fighting the creature.

Ø  5 years ago: Dean and Oya got even closer. She stays for good because she’s family.

Ø  Oya connects with the Thomas (childhood friends. Josh is a hunter; Sarah isn’t and has a family)

Ø  She gives Dean an important artifact: a sculpted and enchanted wooden pendant.

Ø  4 years ago: She meets one of Dean’s kids: Kira Yaeger.

Ø  It was one of the biggest issues she’d have with Dean. He didn’t tell her he had kids.

Ø  They quickly reconcile and have a heart-to-heart conversation. (their strength)

Ø  3 years ago: they went on a year-long hunt for Hand of Gods artifacts.

Ø  2 years ago: During a hunt, Oya encounters the god pluto and nearly dies.

Ø  Dean saved her by sending Castiel to her but the two of them are bruised.

Ø  The two of them are now hunting the god down.

(PERSONAL NOTES: I absolutely love how they are able to communicate. They understand each other, they can communicate non-verbally, they can read each other’s body language. They built their relationship through hard work and earned their trust. Oya is still the person who would keep pressing Dean when she thinks he’s keeping his emotions in check and refuses to open-up and is visibly not doing well. She can confront him,  they can argue, she can take it. He knows that when she’s silent and doesn’t want to speak then something is up. I love how she can say she loves him without actually saying those words and he understands. Her favorite line is to say that she won’t sleep in another person’s bed. She can only sleep with him, next to him, or alone. It’s her way to say she loves him, or the ugly aprons, or the way she runs her hand in his hair and sings him lullabies.)
