Elpis and Pride: my top 3

(Elpis x Pride)

So, Lou, since you've asked. Here are my current favorite 3 characters of this storyline with my dear Pride: 2 are antagonists and 1 is my main character :p

Ishtar: Primeval God of War. New All-Father. He stabbed Elpis and forced her into an eternal cycle of reincarnation in human vessels. He's arrogant cocky, short-tempered and extremely powerful. He's at his peak strength when he's on a battlefield. His guilt is his downfall. He used to covet Elpis and has mixed feelings about her. He also believes Ayasha is in love with him and doesn't realize she's manipulating him.

Ayasha: Primeval goddess of Knowledge, the Chessmaster. She's the real mastermind behind Elpis' curse. Her hubris is her downfall. (and we can even consider that the blind rage she feels towards Elpis could be used against her). She has ambition and wants to be the only goddess worshipped around the world. She manipulates people, is a sadist with a taste for blood.

Elpis: Primeval goddess of Hope/ Despair, the adored one. She is one of the two main characters (the second being Pride). She fell in love with a Sin (one of the 7 creations of Hades in his scheme to overthrow Zeus) and it was the beginning of her troubles. Love allowed Asma to survive millennia of isolation and helped her weaken her seal. Love can also be seen as her downfall for it would lead her to terrible decisions and mistakes in the name of her feelings for the sin. She's seeking revenge and it's going to be glorious!
