Pride belongs to no one. He never did, not even when he was still
Under Hades control. Elpis always fancied the idea that maybe when they were together and nothing else mattered, for those mere hours he would be hers. He had her 2000 years ago when he claimed her. The minute he had a taste of her, Elpis belonged to him. She belonged with him. Today, all they had was a distant memory of what had been and what could never be. Pride is different, and so is she. But always, remained her desire to be with him. To belong with him.
She could only have his attention for a while. She is aware of that, of the short-lived moments when nothing and no one else matter but them. It goes beyond sex, beyond this intimate moment where their bodies and minds would connect. It was a moment where both their souls would merge. When they would become one. Short-lived as it is, it means the world to the goddess because then, all she went through was worth the pain. When she exist in his world, when his eyes burn purple flames only for her, when her name is on his lips... nothing else matters.
