Game of thrones - Modern: Heart Therapy

// Just wanted to illustrate her current happy self. :)

Jaime woke up early, to a Bäahal who was still asleep on his bed. He was careful enough not to wake her up when he stood up and walked towards the bathroom. He scratched his beard, grabbed his toothbrush and put some toothpaste on it. He was the most sought out billionaire of all of Westeros. Jaime Lannister, the Golden Lion, the elder son of Tywin Lannister. Jaime made a name for himself in this country and built a solid reputation for himself. He was courted by thousands, desired by much more and he did enjoy his life. He was hungry for more, ready to bite at Life with the ferocity of a Lion and until now, he had always managed to do so. The hottest bachelor of Westeros, the man without fear, he had had nicknames given by the press that preceded him wherever he went. -That was part of the game after all, right?- He had many names, was given plenty relationships he never had, was rumoured to be fucking with his twin sister because they were twins and hot twins at that. people labelled him, they assumed many things about him but they didn't know him. They didn't know /her/.

Jaime remembered when he met the silver heiress. They met at /his/ bar, one night he decided to entertain himself. He hadn't planned to go and dance that night, the vibrant energy in his club was enough for him to be satisfied. he would go down there, drink a few drinks and perhaps, maybe, meet somebody to have fun with but he wasn't counting on it. That night, he was perfectly fine just staying around, drinking his stress away. And then she came. Oh, what a sight to behold! he had tried to tear his gaze away from her but  failed to do so and when she came to him, something just clicked. Bäahal was unique in this world, a girl that you couldn't see twice even if you spent your entire life searching for her.  He knew her reputation through the magazines, how they both exposed the truth about her lineage and lied about her personality. Bäahal had been called many things, underserving, power -hungry liar, the child who wanted to mooch the wealth of her father from her "poor" siblings.

She had been seen as a mistake from the get-go, a criminal, an unreliable friend. She'd also be seen as a victim, as someone whose entire life would be to suffer at the hands of her cold older sister and her violent brother. Some said she was a sacrificial lamb just so the family could remain extremely powerful and rich. Some tabloids loved it, when Bäahal stuck for herself, because that was what she had to do for the sharks out there. She was made infamous for her filthy mouth and the way she could make or break someone just with her words and this was, to some extent true. Jaime witnessed it at the bar, how crass and blunt Bäahal could be but he never saw her try to be mean to people. she just wanted a place to be herself, dance her worries away.

Papers would always tell a lot of things, sometimes they would be right, other times they would straight up lie. Jaime knew it so he never let magazines made his opinion about someone. They would never know the candor and kindness of his firecracker. They would never know her desperate need for connection and her desire to care for those she loved. they would never understand why she was trying so hard to save her family and help them connect with each other. They would never understand how stubborn this young woman could be, especially when she wanted something, nor how passionate she was. He knew it. he saw it all. He saw her passion when they were making love, he saw her warmth and joy when they were together. He saw her curiosity about the world and how quickly she let the masks slip when in front of him. She could care less about the family feud and didn't care about his last name.

Papers would always try to paint the truth, the colour they wanted. They would never know who this young woman was and never will but Jaime was okay with it. he didn't need them to know her the way he did. he didn't need them to see the truth like he did. it was best she was protected from them and it was best she only became true to the very few who could earn her trust. Bäahal was a good person, and he probably was a little bit selfish since he didn't want to share her with the world. Jaime could live with that, he could very much do.
