Jaime x Bäahal : No other option

A/N : Just been thinking of them and that special scene we wrote a while ago <3

« I should probably go to my cabin. » -The princess's voice was shaking.-

Here they were, in front of their cabin doors. After a delicious day spent together, Jaime took Bäahal to her cabin. All-day long she had been dreading this moment because she didn't know if she would have the strength not to repeat what happened the night before. They talked about it, briefly so, and they decided that they should try and sleep in each other's room for the night. They thought it was necessary for both of them to learn how to keep their distance from each other. It sounded like a good idea, like something mature they both came up with. They needed to see if their resolve would be strong enough once they arrived at King's landing. Why shouldn't it be? Why wouldn't they be able to stay away from one another?

Jaime was standing tall. His cabin just a few inches away from his back. His intense green eyes were looking at the princess, at the delicate neck of hers he loved to nuzzle against. The crook of her neck was appealing and the knight wanted nothing more but to wrap his arms around her waist and pull her against his frame. He was holding back with everything he held dear, but her scent was filling his nostrils, threatening to destroy the resolve he had built over the day. His emerald eyes averted from her neck to her face. She was looking at him with her intense violet eyes, Her lips were half-closed, ready to say something else. He grabbed her hand, kindly, and gently stroked the back of it. He couldn't just /not/ touch her, not when she was so close to him.

« You should, princess. » -He whispered, his voice darker-

None of them actually meant their words. They were looking at each other, testing their resolve to remain true to their decision but knowing that they could never be able to stay away from one another. Bäahal told him, just the night before, that she wanted to enjoy each and every minute they could spend together before they arrived at King's Landing. She knew they were wrong to have a taste of the other, mostly because parting ways would prove difficult, but she also said that she was ready to be frustrated. She was ready to accept anything if she got to actually be happy for the last few days sailing would take. She was willing to risk it all for him.

A silver strand fell onto her face, so Jaime took the opportunity to stroke it behind her ear. That simple touch made her moan, and Jaime's resolve came undone. He felt his heartbeats go faster against his ribcage, and his body started to ache for the princess. The silver-head had tried her best not to give in to her urges to simply press her lips to his and try and give in to her own desires, so she bit her bottom lip hard. She put her hand on his chest, squeezing his shirt mind-absently as she enjoyed the contact of his warm palm. Her eyes fell shut, her resolve was growing thin. She didn't want to leave. She didn't want to go back to her cabin. Why would she want to? She tilted her head to the side, her silver locks brushing on her side. Jaime opened his cabin and coughed slightly to hide his growing desire for her. She swallowed hard and smacked her lips together before she took a deep breath.

« You should probably go to your cabin by now.... otherwise... »

« Otherwise ? » -She repeated breathlessly, her heart was racing in her ribcage, as she walked towards him. She let him walk back into his cabin, her hand on his chest as she closed the door. Now that they were alone, she put her hands on her back and looked up at his face. « I guess we didn't have a very strong resolve. » She chuckled and gave him a sheepish smile.

« Do you regret ? » -He asked, his valid hand cupping her cheek. She shook her head and put her hand over his. Her eyes were closed as she was enjoying his touch.

« How could I ? » -She smiled at him and pressed her lips to his wrist. « How could I regret to be with you at this instant? » Her eyes opened again and she stared at him again, her eyes warm and loving. « Do you regret, Jaime? »

« How could I? » He whispered and slowly closed the distance between the two of them and pressing a hard kiss on her lips.

He couldn't regret it, not when the night they had the day before was the best night he'd ever had. He slept at peace -still very alert since he was a soldier and she had to be protected-, but he slept happily to be in the same bed as hers. He slept happily feeling her warmth next to his. He slept happy feeling her lips to his cheek and listening to her sweet voice piercing through the silence of his cabin. How could he regret, when she loved him sweetly without even touching him the night before? How could he, when his hunger for her became more intense? Today he didn't want to be reasoned with, he didn't want to listen to any logic, he simply wanted her. He simply needed her.
