SoA: The tattoo part 2

A/ N: Just because I am in a very good mood.

Charming.

People tried their most damn to make Asma feel unwelcomed when she first came here. She still remembered the slurs painted on the walls of her shop. She still remembered the endless hours spent wiping them clean or painting over them before she could even open her shop. How could she forget that Stepford soccer mom who decided; on the very night Asma's brother, Cody, was found dead; to shit on Asma and nearly got herself a world star beating? She still lived here but learned from last time and didn't even try to talk to the pink haired artist anymore. Respect! she was the first to learn how to respect Asma. The slurs stopped as soon as they realized she wasn't bothered anymore and wouldn't leave the town. Respect! She earned it quietly, from the moment she became sober to the moment she became friends with Jessica, her life turned upside down. Her clients started to pay attention to her, show a lot more respect for her than they did. Her work spoke for her as well, her reputation as a trustworthy and skilled inker was wildly known, to the point of having people from other nearby towns come to her shop to get a prime tattoo. The SAMCRO boys and the crow eaters also came to respect her. Asma was quiet, and usually would keep her mouth shut but when her relationship with Jessica blossomed into what it was now, she told her clients to never speak ill of the queen or the King or even put the names of their kids in their mouths or they would learn.

Charming.

She made it her home after a couple of years. She even had her favorite spots. While the memories of her fallen brother overwhelmed her, they were replaced with pleasant ones instead. Just under this bench, where Cody used to stand on, she had kissed Tig. Just at this restaurant, which was Cody's favorite, Jessica and she had the best meal in years. Just right there, was a bakery they enjoyed, who also turned out to be Jax's and the kids. She knew the town by heart now. The Auto-moto repair, Nix's bakery, the other gangs' turfs so she knew she had to avoid those places if she wanted to avoid troubles. It became her home, officially so after Oscar died at the hands of her sister. Unlike other cities which were filled with sorrow and fear, Charming was the one to bring her peace and closure. Asma remembered when she tried to leave but couldn't bring herself to do just that because she found a home in the people of Charming. SAMCRO was her family, the people gravitating around them also were. She remembered the nights spent with the kids, the Samcro and the knights' boys and the ladies. The sweet and fun times at the swimming pool on Sunday afternoon, the first couple of dates with Tig and how nervous she was back then. She remembered stitching some of them up at the office of her parlor and the endless girls night, talking about things and dreams and love.

Charming.

It was her future. It was the place she chose, the Saint Graal of all the places where she could build her home. Tonight was a beautiful night. The sky was clear, the moon was full and stars complimented her. Asma had closed the workshop early tonight so she could do the inventory. The pink haired beauty was leaning into her chair, the drawings of the tattoo she wanted to have and a couple of phone numbers of inkers she chose. Asma was ready to settle. It would start slowly, baby steps as always, but she was ready to have her family inked on her flanks. A very large piece would cover her right ribs. A skull, some crows, some water lilies and roses. A crown of thorn and the name of the closest people she had in her life written with a bright gold ink. JJ, PiePie and Tig. Intertwined with dices. It was an ambitious piece but one that meant everything to Asma because she was ready. The front door opened and she knew it was Tig who came to take her home, so she quickly stood up, grabbed her coat and left the room.
