DOYA: You good?

DOYA: You good?

A/N: I have been missing these two lately.

Xxxxx

Oya slipped out of the bed early in the morning and went to the kitchen to fix herself some coffee. Her eyes were slightly red from the lack of sleep and she rubbed them with the back of her hand. Yawning hard, the ebony hunter sat on the kitchen's stool and closed her eyes for a minute. She heard footsteps and quickly grabbed her spoon, just in case it was an unexpected guest. When she saw the tall frame of Dean, a smile crept on her lips and she relaxed instantly. He fixed himself a cup of coffee and growled as he walked to the seat across the table.

«Mornin' Bitch. »

« Mornin' Dickhead. » -She growled back. Her eyes still half-closed as she was still fighting the urge to sleep.- « I'm sorry if I woke you up. » She groaned as she tapped her fingers against the kitchen's counter before her, as her thoughts were still bothering the ebony hunter.

« Don't sweat it, You good ?. »

They both had a very short sleep. Pluto had been at the center of their minds ever since both encountered him, Oya and Dean had been searching for ways to destroy the god but had never taken a minute to sit down and talk. Both were so desperate to find him and get rid of him for good that the idea of sitting down and talk about how they were doing didn't even cross their minds. How were they? They both believed they were doing good, all things considered, but the truth was they weren't okay. Oya still had issues with her near-death and the desire to search, find, and destroy the deity was overwhelming. He would have killed her if Dean hadn't sent Castiel to her and it was dumb luck that kept her alive. The encounter was quick, brutal and the god's sadism marked the hunter to the bone. Just the mention of him was enough to make Oya shake and shiver. It was enough to give her more intense nightmares and shorten her nights. Dean, on the other hand, wasn't much better. Pluto was the son of the bitch who nearly killed his partner and no matter how weak compared to the god, the Winchester was, there was nothing that would come between him and Pluto. He wanted to be the one to kill the bastard, make him pay for almost taking Oya from him, but also to make sure he wouldn't hurt innocent people as well.

« Good? » -She lifted a brow.- « I wouldn't exactly say we're good... »

She trailed off before she took a sip of her coffee. She didn't respond to his direct question. The truth was that she was terrified as of now. Part of her was so desperate to find and kill Pluto -for revenge's sake- and another part of her had not recovered from the fact she nearly died because of him.

« We're doing what we can with what we have. » He ran his hand on her smooth thigh and drank some coffee. « We're not fine, I know. »

« Yeah.. Part of me wants to find Pluto and kill him... but I can't ignore that other part of me. The one that is afraid. » She finally admitted, rolling her eyes as those words escaped her lips. Oya hated being weak, she didn't like to admit she was afraid or would rather run away from a fight. Pluto wasn't an ordinary god, he was far stronger than the others. If he were, she would have been able to defeat him on their first encounter, but she wasn't and her body still remembered. Dean took another sip and grabbed her hand. Oya looked at their hands, locked with each other, and gave him a sheepish smile. « We don't know what we're up against...yet. » She said, holding onto his hand, tighter.

« He is powerful, maybe far more powerful than the gods I encountered. Yes, that much is true. But we'll figure things out, O. We'll do it together like we've always done. I wised up over the years, I won't go after him on my own /and/ without prep time. We need to be ready because we won't have more than 1 shot to end him. » -He stroked the back of her hand, making her smile a little through the constipated smirk she gave him.-

« Together... As always. » She repeated before she put her mug on the counter and put her hand over his. « Honestly, if Castiel had not been there, I would have been dead by now...that's just how good he is. » She said, rolling her head from left to right before she pushed it against his forehead. « I was terrified that night. » She started with.

« I know...» -He couldn't say more.-

He couldn't tell her how devastated he felt when she called him, moments away from death and how powerless that made him feel to know he couldn't go to her fast enough. Castiel could and used some of his remaining powers to teleport to her location and heal her. For Dean, however, this was a nightmare he couldn't wake up from. His mind went blank on that day, only filled with silent prayers for her recovery. He didn't want to lose her, so he prayed for her, yes, that happened. He refused to rest until Castiel confirmed that she was going to survive and even after Oya was saved, he didn't rest until he was able to see her again. Oya didn't need him to verbalize it since she could tell how he felt by the tone of his voice. It broke at the end, and his throat became tighter, his eyes were more intense as he was staring at her. He had been shaken up, at the very least, by what happened to her and what Pluto did. Oya was a badass hunter, If she was defeated, that could only mean that her opponent was way stronger than her.

« We will find his weakness and kill him.... we will, together, as always. » -She reassured him, holding onto his hand a little more so he could feel her support. Dean sighed and stood up so he could wrap his arms around her petite frame. He felt her arms wrap around his waist to keep him close and he placed a kiss on top of her head.

« Yeah,,, » He repeated, letting her know that he was determined to hunt the god with her.

It was a job they were supposed to do together, something they would overcome together. They had already been there, losing someone, almost losing someone. Dean went to Hell and back to get Sam back and vice-verça. They had been possessed by angels, healed by them, survived miraculously death when they should have not. They went up against the impossible and always gambled their lives. They always fought together, or with Team Free Will. They always won together and they would win against Pluto, no matter what, because they were together.
