She made a promise. Her last words to Pride were "I will always find you." and while he did forget them once the curse was in full effect, she did not. She waited 2000 years before she was born into the perfect vessel she could manipulate to weaken her seal. She waited 2000 years before she could have a glimpse of freedom.
She believed that her curse would be the worst that could have happened to the two of them but would soon discover that it wasn't true. Unknown to the goddess, Hades had unmade the Sin to erase his relationship with Elpis. He remade him brand new, ruthless, crueller. He made a version of him that never met the goddess and therefore hadn't softened edges. This Pride was worse than the one she met 2000 years ago. The primeval gods weren't the only enemies she had and she would soon realize that the challenge she will have to face is greater than she imagined it to be. She didn't just have her pantheon to destroy. She also had the sins to face and the consequences of Hades manipulations AND the curse cast upon her to defeat. The road to Pride's "heart" was a long and difficult path but she was up to the challenge.

2000 years weren't enough to destroy the love she had for him, so a curse and Hades meddling would not either. Love was a weapon, the strongest there was and just like Sitäa would say, true love, knows no bound. She made a promise to Pride "I will always find you." And she would, no matter how hard it would be to get through this version of him. She loved him...all of him, regardless of who he was.
