Got: (regular) : "When the world has stopped turning."

Got: (regular): "When the world has stopped turning."

// My darling dears <3

The princess was brushing her hair, long and simple gestures that soothed the young woman. There was some comfort in repetition and that helped slow her heartbeats and escape from the grim reality that was her life. Jon wanted her to stay behind because nobody could know that she was alive. It was difficult for the silver princess to stay locked in the Red Keep, mostly because it felt like a prison. She knew each and every room of the castle and while she enjoyed visiting the garden, the princess knew each and every flower there, and she was slowly starting to get bored. She danced, she rode her dragons, she even got closer to her sister but still... she felt trapped. She felt useless. The princess was used to being in action and out there. She was supposed to be riding the lands, visiting the kingdoms, and meeting with people. She was supposed to visit her best friend, Kyra, and her lover Jaime. She was supposed to be free but she wasn't. She couldn't. Not yet.

Her hands kept moving over her silver mane as if it were a dance. Her purple hues stared at the mirror and she let out a sigh. Who was she kidding? She felt that her world had stopped turning ever since Jaime left with Jon. It felt as if she didn't have enough time. Everything went so fast from the moment she claimed her love to Jaime to the siege, to the moment he claimed his love for her and their trip back to King's Landing. It all happened so fast and she had not had the time to digest the information. She put her hands on the table and  dropped her head down. She worked tirelessly those past months, and she took a liking to do that job. She had found something, a role, a way to become useful to her family and she felt fulfilled. She was her sister's ambassador and through her work, she managed to improve her sister's reputation among her subjects.

She managed to feel comfortable in a country she didn't know and grew into her new life as a princess, a sister, and a relative of Jon.  She managed to save lives during the siege. She fought so fiercely that she nearly died and that feat alone, was able to cement her in the folks' tales. On top of it all, she found love and that perhaps was the most incredible feat of them all. Bäahal had never dared dream about being loved. Who could love someone like her? soiled, stained, used by faceless men as soon as she was of age? Who could love someone like her? with her hands drenched in the blood of her victims, and the emotions she wore on her sleeves? Who could love her? Jaime did. Jaime fell in love with her, hard. He rushed to the siege, in order to rescue her and kill her assailants. Jaime risked his life for her and that was how intense his love for Bäahal was. He could die for her and she knew she could die for him. It was true love. She found true love. She could feel her heart beating faster now that the thought had crossed her mind.

He gave his heart, so she could keep it until he returned to her. It was a promise, a safekeeping, a reminder of something that was true and she gave him her ring, a ring that he would bring back to her and slip around her finger. It was a way for her to give him a token of her affection. It gave him a mission, a priority to keep in mind so it could motivate him to come back to her. A romantic and foolish gesture that really made her blush and smile. She smiled to herself and gently put both hands on her cheeks. She blushed and bit her bottom lip as she was now imagining his return. The world has stopped turning, especially since the moment they shared their first true kiss. would it get better? would it lead somewhere? Would she be able to finally convince her sister to welcome Jaime into the family? or at least accept the relationship between the two of them? For now, Bäahal was holding back her breath without even knowing it, but the world had stopped running for now.
