The elder goddess swallowed hard and she bit her bottom lip. It had been such a long while since she had heard the sound of her mother's voice.  Millennia to be exact. It sounded the same, sweet and caring, but hints of her fear were easily caught by her daughter. Elpis lifted a brow and crossed her arms above her chest. She was upset, clearly so. Her heart was beating fast, so fast that it was the only thing she could hear. It was supposed to be a simple exercise. Elpis wanted to push her connection with fauna and Flora as far as she could. As suspected, the goddess of Hope and Light grew so powerful that it didn't require a lot of energy to quickly be in tune with it.  She was upset at her, for not doing anything when she was aware of her siblings' schemes. She hated her mother for sheltering her and manipulating her into never tapping into her true potential. If she pushed further, perhaps Gaea would feel her. She didn't know how she felt about it. Did she want to talk to her? What could she say to the All-mother? She would spit at her face, she would threaten her, maybe. 

Pride would have calmed her down, but he wasn't around. He would preach the virtue of patience and would remind her that it was just a matter of time before the destruction of her pantheon. Gaea would pay for her crimes, in time. Pride would have calmed her down, with his strong hands on her neck. She was missing her Sin who was, as usual, trapped within his own business elsewhere. He would let his fingers run through her pink mane and massage her scalp, so she wouldn't let her anger take the best of her. Pride knew that it was just a matter of time before she would face the All-Mother but the truth was, that she was already feeling her presence due to the connection she had with Earth. Did Gaea try to reach out to her? did she want to talk to her?  Why did it matter?  Why did it matter?
