Got (regular): "For the love of his brother"

Got (regular): "For the love of his brother"

// Another moment between Tyrion and Bäahal.

Tyrion remained silent. Earlier on, a handmaiden went to fetch him at the princess' request. Hesitant at first, the Lannister decided to join the princess -how could he deny her request?- and see what the fuss was all about. Silence had settled in the dining room. The princess and the Hand had talked earlier on about the siege and the fact that House Redwyne was possibly behind it. He expressed his worries for his brother who literally went on a mission with little intel. Jaime was cunning, careful, and most importantly a seasoned knight. He would have gathered all the intel he needed and would charm his way out of trouble if the need arose, yet, the Hand of the Queen Daenerys couldn't help but feel a knot in his guts. It had been a long battle for Tyrion, a very difficult battle ever since he went on trial for a murder he did not commit. His life had been miserable, for most of it, because of his condition, the death of his mother while she was giving birth to him and the resentment he received from everyone but Jaime. His brother had always been on his side. His brother has always respected him and treated him like a human being. Their love for each other had been tested several times since Daenerys' conquest. Since the murder of their father.

Jaime didn't forgive him. How could he? The Golden Lion was the Golden child of Tywin Lannister. He was his pride and joy. He was everything Tyrion wasn't. Tall, gorgeous, strong, brave, and skilled. He was everything Tyrion would never be: a child who didn't kill: the love of Tywin's life. Jaime hated him, they had that conversation before the Long Night. Jaime was upset at him, he was disappointed in him, and yet love prevailed. The war happened and they nearly lost the other but they survived this one, only to be torn apart because of Jaime's loyalty to Cersei. Tyrion lost his brother a second time. For nearly a year he didn't hear from him, didn't know where he went or if he was still alive. Bäahal was a beacon of Light in the gloomy world of Tyrion Lannister. He missed his brother. He had already lost a sister and the nephews and niece he had, were gone too. All that remained was his little sister Kyra and the hope to see Jaime again. When his older brother came back to him, Tyrion could not hold back his tears. He had been a different man, he'd shed some pounds but more importantly, he seemed to have stopped carrying the weight of the world. Perhaps, the princess' love was for something. Perhaps not. Who was he to say?

There was a chance he would lose his brother for good. When Bäahal told him that Daenerys had a conversation with her and would have a conversation with Jaime upon his return, his blood turned cold. There it was, the very big risk for his brother to be killed on the spot for daring to love the princess. If he didn't die and got the queen's blessings, then he would have a target on his back and the princess would have a very difficult life as well.  Tyrion did his best to convince both of them not to fall in love and to move forward but he failed. Bäahal was stubborn. Bäahal was moving. She deserved to be loved and to know what that was.  Tyrion was worried, and watching as the princess was now dancing in front of him, as a way for her to cope with Jaime's absence and potential death, put the Hand at ease. It soothed him to see the young woman execute a beautiful dance in honor of his brother.  It didn't put all of his worries away but it distracted him for a moment. Tyrion was his brother's keeper and he would do his best to protect him at all costs, but what could a man do when he was miles away from his loved one? What could a man do?
