Chronicles of the Primeval gods: Life and Death of Ayasha: Regina

It was a matter of time before Ayasha got what she wanted. Primeval gods were fighting each other and soon there would have no competition left. She gleefully watched as her older brothers destroyed the rebellion against Ishtar's power, now that they remembered the whole truth about Elpis. Elpis should have been dead but Ishtar was too weak to complete his task and cursed her instead, only buying them time before everyone remembered what happened. Her plan was brilliant, however, because she knew that in the end, it would serve her best interest. Primeval gods would destroy one another and she would take power.

The only problem that was left would be the sins. They would challenge her authority. The mere thought of them made Ayasha puke. She had always been vocal about the Sins, always told Gaea, the All-mother that they were abominations that should be destroyed. She couldn't understand how her own sister, Elpis, could think about giving herself to one of these. Pride, just uttering his name was enough to drive the elder goddess over the edge. He irritated her, the little soulless monster that he was. He had ambition and according to Gaea, probably a soul as well. He wanted more than he deserved to have. Him? A ruler? He wanted to rule? He wasn't even able to make sure his siblings marched in line so how could he expect to rule?

Being queen wasn't exactly what Ayasha wanted either. She wanted more than just being queen. She wanted more than having a court of divine servants surrounding her. She wanted more than that. She wanted absolute power. She wanted to be the only divine creature alive and ruling. She was planning a genocide. It did sound ambitious but she was willing to work for it. Her plan was working so far and soon enough, Pride and his siblings would be eradicated, leaving room for her to destroy the New-All Father and kill Gaea all at once.
