Headcanon: the shoulder branding scar
Bäahal has been branded on her shoulder when she was still a slave and had since tried to remove it. The brand (which is the name of her former master) now bears knives scars from her previous attempts but the name is still visible, still easy to read. it's just adorned with new scars.
She has never spoken about it before and never bothered with it before she fell in love with Jaime Lannister. In the event of a possible union between the two, she would be extremely moved if he doesn't reject the reminder of her past. (of course, he won't. He's already embraced her regardless of her past, but still, it's a fear she has.)
