Headcanon COPG: Elpis

 Headcanon: Marriage

Elpis is a goddess. She doesn't believe in lacing her destiny like humans do. She interlaced her destiny with Pride, which means that she shares his life, his dreams, and his ambition. She is his mate now and forever. She gives him her support and she follows him in his endeavors. Of course, this almost means that he would do the same (and he is by preparing her revenge against her pantheon) and he would share everything she wants to share with him. Elpis is loyal, Unlike goddesses like Aphrodite she had only had one lover and that is Pride. She doesn't need or want anyone else and would get angry at the suggestion that she does.  Elpis is faithful, loyal, and devoted. She is also very much her own person too and doesn't want to have her individuality snuffed from the perfect pairing she makes with Pride.

Headcanon Heartbreak:

Elpis has had her fair share of heartbreak. Each and every one of these events has shaped her into the stronger woman she is today. the betrayal she experienced at the hands of her family is multilayered. They hid her true nature, they raised her to be a meek and fragile goddess who would do their bidding. She was then betrayed by Ayasha who conspired to eliminate her. If Ishtar had not been in love with her, she would have been dead by now, but luckily for her, he loved her and cursed her instead.

Being forced into a cycle of reincarnation that never ended had been the worst torture she had to suffer from. To be forgotten by the whole world, to witness the deaths of her closest siblings, and to feel the death of her father without being able to protect him had definitely wrecked her mind and broke her heart.  So she's angry. She's hurt. Her mother knew and let it all happen. This put her on top of the goddess list.  Elpis when angry has an impact on the fauna and flora around her. She can bring life into a dead place like Tartarus. She wouldn't hide her emotions but would more easily express her anger and disappointment.
