A vintage's touch: Unique

Mary never was the cookie-cutter version of the perfect woman. From the moment she was born, the nurses told her she was a sin. A white mother and a black father were not something, according to them, that would please God, so Mary was in fact an insult to the Father in the sky.

Mary never considered this to be true, she never resented the way she looked and never thought she was a sin. The nurses of that orphanage were outrageously hateful, something that wasn't uncommon at the time and something The Peaky Blinders was actively fighting against.  Yet, The little girl still believed that God was angry at her and she would never be loved because of the fierce anger and violence she experienced at the hands of the nurses.

Mary grew up and her body gained curves. In post-WWI Great Britain, this was seen as undesirable and a sign of the low morals this young woman had. Others, however, found that physique particularly enticing, like her first husband. She was not old enough and already had all the curves he wanted to have for himself. He deceived her but enabled Mary to realize that she was desirable and that her body was not as disgusting as what the nurses and the other orphans said to her.

And Here she is today, one of the most beautiful women to ever grace Birmingham, with an angelic and youthful face, the voice of a nightingale, and a body made of curves that could make an honorable man sin for. Mary was exquisite, in ways that even those in the high society of Great Britain couldn't deny. Even the loudest critics were secretly coveting her or were intimidated by her confidence. Mary grew a thick skin over the years and honed her sex appeal but even to this day, she still naively doesn't realize the impact she has on people and how desired she actually is.
