"You should smile more."
Bäahal hated it when they asked her to smile. She couldn't own her own body because someone, somewhere, always had something to say about her. She had to plaster fake smiles most of the time, "for the family". She had to attend events she didn't want to. She had to be "pretty" because they wanted to see a pretty Targaryen. Bäahal hated when they asked her to smile, especially on days when she didn't feel like it. So she became the "crass princess" over time, flipping the bird at whoever demanded she smiled for them or acted like property. She wouldn't smile unless she truly meant it but by the gods old and new, she hated when they asked her to perform for them.
