Sad Trivia:

Neela: headcanon crying

Nëela doesn't hide her tears. If she does, her curse activates and she suffers excruciating pain. She wouldn't sob unless she was completely wrecked and heartbroken. So you would see Nëela shed tears without sobbing.

Sara: headcanon crying.

When it comes to the public, Sara doesn't cry. She keeps her pain to herself and acts as if nothing is breaking her heart. The most a keen eye can detect is the fact her chin is trembling. However, Sara can’t hide her tears from Homelander. He will be able to see her cry even if she wiped the tears away because her body would give it away. But she usually tries to pretend she’s fine.

Mary: 

Mary hides her tears unless she is cornered by Tommy or she’s extremely worried about him (his seizures. A big injury) or someone dies. Otherwise, she keeps a poker face on. It was one of the issues John had with her because he could never fully decode her facial expressions. It was also one of her late husband's reproach. He was upset that he couldn't tell what she truly thought or felt.  She started to warm up to Tommy and expressed herself more since she started to live with him.

Elpis: 

When Elpis was a young goddess, she used to be a bit of a crybaby and would never hide her tears. This made the other gods think she was vulnerable and had them overlook her. However, since her betrayal by her pantheon, Elpis refused to let anyone but Pride see her tears. She would cry in the privacy of her room and would not stop in the presence of her Sin.

Baahal: headcanon Tears

Because of her troubled and painful past, Bäahal had always kept her feelings to herself. She would never allow her masters to see the pain they made her feel and she became a known "Ice Queen". In truth, Bäahal cried to herself when she was on her own. Since she was freed, things changed. She doesn’t hide her tears. She would stand there and cry, sob, and maybe fall on her knees.

Oya: Headcanon Tears

She usually doesn’t cry easily because she internalizes her emotions. Her voice cracks and she shivers but Oya usually hides the tears. Dean is the only one who has seen her ugly crying and all he needs to do is hug her to help her calm her.
