"Could he read her mind? Surely vampires aren't mind-readers, so how could he know how she truly felt? How could he know the way he made her heart skip a beat or two? She had fallen for him, and hard at that but she wasn't sure that he could tell and she didn't know how she could communicate her feelings to him. Well, surely he knew. He was a vampire, his senses were acute. He probably already knew.
Why was she concerned with it? Nëela needed Klaus to know that she was genuine with him. She needed him to trust her and the truth in the way she felt for him. It would require time, trials and perhaps one or many more conversations and actions but she hoped that in the end, when all was said and done, that Klaus could see that she was true to him."
