(Bäahal): she still had something to give

She had come to realize that despite her claims, she still had something to give to her sibling: Unconditional love. Of course, it didn't happen in one night, not after she had experienced the horrors of loss and lived her life as an Orphan for many years. It took time, it took one gentle gesture after the other. It took one step towards the other and accepting to show the vulnerability that started it all. They took the time to discover one another, find the common ground on which they would cultivate their relationship. As they went at it, as they knew each other more, love grew. A love Bäahal believed was dead and gone. A love so strong and unconditional that the princess knew she would be willing to trade with the devil if that saved Daenerys. A love so strong that she didn't care if her name was erased from History and from the memories of mankind if that could allow her sister to achieve her goals.

Daenerys made her realize that her heart wasn't as dry as she wished it was. It wasn't as cold as she thought it was. It wasn't...She wasn't the person she presented to the world, at least, not completely. Life had hardened her skin, had Bäahal build a wall around her heart to prevent it from breaking again. Missandei cracked her defences and became the only person she cared for and would protect at any cost, long before she was reunited with this sister who rode dragons. BUT Life had not taken every ounce of affection that still resided in her heart. It just wasn't nurtured. It just wasn't fueled or even acknowledged but it was there.

It grew in size and intensity, broke barriers, filled her whole being to the point of making it impossible for the princess to imagine a life without her sister, let alone imagine her sister's death. It grew to the point of devoting her life to the silver queen's protection and the protection of what she loved... who she loved became a priority. She had already lost a child to the war, Bäahal swore to never let her lose the others and Jon. For she saw how much alive Daenerys was when the brooding but gentle dark-haired knight was nearby. He brought something nobody else could give Daenerys and on top of it all, he also was family. So of course, she would protect him and swore to herself to ensure their safety.
