He was gone.

Bäahal woke up early and ran to the grand courtyard of the Red Keep. She had run to meet with the Knight and Commander Snow who were bidding farewell to Daenerys and Tyrion. Jaime saw Bäahal, struggling to catch her breath, a hand against her chest she held in a fist. Her purple eyes were sad and filled with unshed tears she still refused to cry. Jaime hated when the princess was upset, especially when it was because of him. He had already made her suffer enough as it was, yet, she still managed to rush to bid him farewell. They couldn't hug or kiss in public like Daenerys and Jon did. They couldn't touch and betray their love for each other and he couldn't expose the princess more than she already was. She swallowed a lump, lips pursed as she was fighting her tears. She was wearing a red dress, a way for the princess to express her love without saying it with words for red was the Lannisters' color.  She still managed to warm his heart despite the distance and the restrictions they had. bäahal still showed up when he needed her to. She still smiled at him despite the tears in her eyes, giving him strength and the desire to come back to her, so he would make her smile even wider. She mouthed "I love you". He could clearly see it, but he couldn't reply in the same kind, so he bowed respectfully and left.

He was gone.

Daenerys watched as her sister ran back to her bedroom. She had wanted to stop her so they could have a conversation but it proved to be too much for the young woman who simply escaped her. The Queen watched as silver strands disappeared into a door and felt her heart break at the sight. It had been months since the return of her sister, months where the queen of the seven kingdoms went through a variety of emotions. She had tried to avoid the conversation of the newfound romance between her sister and Jaime Lannister, but she knew it was necessary to discuss it, and at least, to consider that it could actually happen and she could eventually welcome Jaime into their family. Easier said than done. Jaime had caused so much pain throughout the seven kingdoms by supporting his twisted son's reign, his sister's lethal ruling, and his Father's iron fist. It was even worse since Jaime pushed Bran off of the window, sparking a series of events that would result in the many deaths in the Stark family. He also killed her father so Daenerys was wary of allowing him into the family. Yet, he also did good deeds and his latest one was to save Bäahal from certain death, avenge her by killing all the assailants, and bringing her back to health and safety. He did a lot of good too, so she had to consider it too.

He was gone.

She cried in her room, unable to do otherwise but to sob as she hated the sight of Jaime leaving her. The last time he went, the last time he went, he barely survived the Last War. The last time she went, she was sobbing because she didn't know if he'd truly move forward and heal. She was scared of him dying, or withering away as she found him at Highgarden. She was sobbing because she thought he would never love her and those memories came back to her. The same fears -minus the one about his feelings for her- choked the princess who feared that it would be the last time she had seen her Knight. She cried her eyes out, wiping them as they came but wailing as she couldn't stop sobbing. Daenerys looked at Tyrion who shook his head and told her to leave Bäahal alone because the princess needed some time for herself. He understood her fears and pain, he was hoping for the survival of both his brother and Jon Snow for he knew he would deal not just with one sad and heartbroken princess but also with a queen whose fury was a sight to behold. Perhaps their absence would give the two women the opportunity to have an important conversation and improve their relationship. Perhaps... perhaps.
