Klasma: She asked him out.

Klasma: She asked him out.

// Just taking right where we're at story-wise. Mary asked Klaus out for a dinner date and this is what happened hours before he comes to pick her up at her shop.

Mary could feel her cheeks burn, burn because she still could not believe that she managed to ask Klaus out. It wasn't really old-fashioned of her, but she didn't really mind because it was what she wanted. She had wanted to spend more time with the hybrid, and get to know him, and the best way to do it was to go for dinner. She looked at her reflection in the mirror and arranged her curls. She was wearing a lovely white lace dress that complimented her frame and enhanced her beauty. her hair was tied in a high bun and only a few rebellious strands teased the back of her neck and a few on her cheeks. She twirled a curl around her finger and felt her cheek burn harder. How could it be? How could a witch like her find a connection to the Hybrid? How could she find solace in the very person who had destroyed her life? Did he really destroy her life? In a way, he did, yes! He did when he went on a rampage centuries ago and slaughtered her coven and family. He wasn't in control of his actions, and he had become a much better person over time. The Klaus she met today wasn't the Klaus she used to know. Besides, Elijah did help her. He spent time - oh so little time- with her but he still kept her company and he managed to return her favors as well.

The people who ruined her life were her sisters. Her coven. They were the ones who judged her and thought she had committed a sin. She helped Vampires, the witches' sworn enemies by saving Kol Mikaelson's life. She helped vampires survive while she should have let them die and for this peculiar sin, she was punished with an eternal life, weaknesses of both Vampires and Werewolves, so she wouldn't be accepted by either of them. She was supposed to be on her own, unhappy, and lonely. She was supposed to live a miserable life, wondering why she decided to help the vampires who slaughtered her own people. It boggled her mind, to think that they would consider her act of kindness as something to be ashamed of. Witches were supposed to be close to Mother Nature, forces of good, and she should have been praised for her kindness rather than hated and cursed. All of this, the solitude, the pain, the tears she had shed all those years would soon become a bad memory she would erase with that date.

A date. It was a date. It was a proper date she asked him out for. She remembered the face he made upon hearing her ask him out. He had not seen her coming with her request, and the little question about his diet also made him chuckle. He was cute, come to think of it, Klaus was cute in the warm embrace of her arms. He was cute when he smiled, cute when he chuckled, and probably even cuter when he asked her not to take him to the Mystic grills. She couldn't blame him, he had a taste and nobody in their right mind would actually want to take their date to that place. She couldn't wait for him to stop by her shop and take her out. She wanted to give him butterflies in the stomach upon seeing her. She smiled again, and her heart started to beat faster against her ribcage. She knew that what lay ahead might not be pretty, after all, they both were hunted down and she didn't want him to deal with her own drama, but on the other hand, she wanted to see him again.  She wanted a life with him but she knew that there was nothing like an easy life with Klaus fucking Mikaelson. And here he was, already pulling up at her shop, ready to take her out.
