She knew she would feel safe no matter what when he would hold her in his arms and tell her that everything would be okay. He was terrified but she made him face his fears so he could move forward.

And this beautiful thing they had terrified the two of them because it became real and could be gone. She already told him she would fight tooth and nail to preserve what they have and walk the steps with him. He nodded at her when she said so, unable to return the words she said to him but thinking every one of them with every fiber of his being. This was new, this was huge, this was worth fighting for and to hell with it. it didn't matter how scared he was because he already was in too deep anyway, so better go there, all flames ablaze!
