pride and Elpis: His time was up

He was pleased with himself. Finally, the Sin forged a sword able to send gods and sins alike back to the void they came from. He was more than pleased because now he could move on in his plan to squash the resistance he met in the Underworld.

He knew gods were against him and understandably so since he was their natural born enemy but there was one of them that he really wanted to destroy. Leviathan. The primeval god of the oceans and a major asshole. He was a god purist, one who told his sister she had to marry him to keep the purity of the race. When she refused to marry him, Leviathan became more violent. He verbally assaulted her, insulted her because she was debasing herself with a Sin. She resisted him and defended her choice to remain with Pride, despite him being a sworn-enemy but Leviathan was having none of it.

He insisted on getting married to her, Used his stronger physique to overpower her and in the heat of their argument, decided to teach her a lesson and claim her against her will. Pride remembered when he saw his beloved afterward, bare feet, disheveled, traumatized. She still had torn up clothes, marks of Leviathan's fingers on her wrists and arms and her cheek was swollen. His eyes turned into purple flames as he wanted to avenge her but she begged him not to because her brother was powerful and could undo his physical form. She begged for him to let it slide but Pride didn't forget. He didn't forget and he wanted to make sure that Leviathan would suffer the most.
