She has plump lips, an almond-shaped face with delicate features. Despite the harsh childhood she had, she retained her beauty and soft skin (save for the burned left arm), so much so that it caught the eye of a Baron who forced her to go to his palace and serve as his personal chef.

Personality:
Nana is very clever. She's also determined and stubborn and would stop at nothing to have a chance at seeing her sister again. She is naive, not so much about the world she lives in, but she believes that there is good in people, as much good as there is bad. She also believes that some people are genuinely good people who want to help others and do good around them - just like her.- She also believes people who claim to know where her sister is, or at least, claim to have information about Naomi's whereabouts, and don't see ulterior motives. For two decades, she managed to avoid being forced into becoming a doll by using her skills, but she's well aware that one bad move and she could become a doll. That's what forced her to become observant and cunning, in a bid to survive without being turned into a doll. Nana is well aware of the type of violence that could be done to women in that world, but always managed to avoid it, by sheer luck most of the time and by a clever quip a few times.
She is a good listener, brave, and easily admires new things she encounters. She's very curious about how the world was before the Great War, but she is also aware that asking questions could get her in trouble. Because of her traumatic childhood, she also plasters a lot of fake smiles because she refuses to look back and truly face her emotions. Deep down... perhaps, she knows that Naomi is dead, but admitting it would crush her spirit, and she might never recover from it until she knows for sure that her sister is dead. She can't give up on her, now can she?
Fictional Character Biography:
Naomi and Yue were the children of a cog family living on the land of the White Baron. When Naomi turned 7, she was sold along with other cogs to the Red Baron. Her parents at the time took it without making a fuss, as it was the way things were. They were cogs after all. Yet, she watched as her parents slowly faded away, with her father becoming a violent drunk at night and beating both her mother and her, and with her no better mother as guilt for watching her daughter be sold, ate at her. She burned Yue and decided to call her Nana when the girl was 6 years old, in a desperate attempt to make her less desirable to a Baron, so she could be kept at the service of the White Baron. She couldn't explain herself because her husband was so angry that he ended up killing her in a fit of rage. He was later turned into a slave, forced to carry heavy loads for the clippers. She was left to fend for herself and was bullied, beaten up, and betrayed by the children and adults living around. It didn't stop her from being sold when she turned 7, just like her sister, to the Yellow Baron.
She managed to survive by offering her help and showing peculiar skills that prevented her from being thrown into a dollhouse. She was taken care of by a street merchant, who took her as an apprentice and taught her everything he knew about cooking. He waited until she turned 15 to try and make her his wife -complete with threats of kicking her out and sending her on the streets to work as a doll-. Her luck had the madam of the dollhouse listening in one day they were arguing in public, and she offered to take the girl. He made her pay a hefty price -which she did- and they parted ways there. Etta, short for Henrietta, put Nana through the grinder but also ensured her safety and well-being. All these years, Nana thought about her big sister Naomi. She managed to hear rumours of a female clipper called Naomi who was quickly making a name for herself in the Red Baron territories. It was enough to make her want to join her sister, now that she knew she was still alive.
Nana worked tirelessly and tried to come up with a plan that could make her leave the Yellow Baron's territory to join the Red Baron's territory, but each plan fell flat because she didn't have the resources or the right intel. She didn't give up. Perhaps one day, she would be reunited with her sister.
Current history:
One day, due to a staff shortage, Nana helped serve the Baron, who came to the Dollhouse for celebrations. He noticed her and became infatuated with her. He forced her to move to his palace and become his personal chef in a bid to make her his.
Trivia:
-Nana refuses to remove her bandages unless they are dirty and need changing. Otherwise, she would always keep it, regardless of what she's doing. It opens up an old wound that is too deep and too painful for her.
-Nana was lucky enough that no one forced themselves on her. They tried, and she came close to being raped, but her wit and pure luck saved her.
-Nana's first time was at the dollhouse. She decided once she turned 22 that perhaps it was time to see what the fuss was all about. It went better than she could have expected, as in: She felt absolutely nothing but ennui and discomfort. It wasn't all that, and she decided that sex wasn't that great for her to experiment further with it. It was great to spend herself, so she indulged in it, but only with patrons who looked young and were recommended to her by her friend Sky. She wouldn't know how to behave if someone were to actually know how to make love to her.
-Nana is convinced she's not pretty. Her mother kept telling her she wasn't after she burned her arm. She has a very practical view of lust and sex and thinks that horny men are not choosers at all. She notes that she could be covered in mud, but it wouldn't make a difference. However, she acknowledges that a clean Doll is always much preferred by patrons rather than a dirty one, and maaaaaybe, being clean is the only difference here. She is oblivious to her beauty, so much so that she's convinced the Baron who took her to the palace did it only because he wants to eat her food and not because he wants to dip his sausage into her hot saucepan.
-Nana's never killed or seriously injured anyone. She has seen horrors and they have been done to her, but she was never put in a situation where she felt she had to kill/maim if she wanted to live. She doesn't want to hurt others, but if she has no other choice, she will put up the best fight of her life and might even kill her assailant or two of them.
