Doya: on the road
to Pluto: Tonight will be about them
A/N: I miss my

Oya yanked her head back
as she felt the heavy black locks fall onto the small of her back. She enjoyed
the sensation of the warm water pouring onto her bruised and battered body. Her
cheek was still swollen from the punches she took earlier on, the scratches on
the right side of her chest. Her body was hurting, everything was hurting her
but she was satisfied. It wasn’t just relief -they saved innocent people and
killed the monsters-, no. It was also the thrill of the fight, the joy of
kicking ass like she used to. She had not lost her reflexes and skills, instead, Oya felt she was sharper, more alert, and even more ready than she expected. She
was back. She was whole again. A grin crept on her plump lips and she ran her
hand through her hair, washing away the motel shampoo she used to clean her
skin from all the dirt and disgusting slime and guts from the monsters. She
pulled back her head straight, eyes half-opened as she was now staring at the
tiled walls of the shower. What now?
She dropped her head,
allowing water to fall onto the top of her skull. They were doing alright and
were about to leave the town and go back to the bunker. There was nothing more
to do at this instant but to wait on Sam and Castiel to come back and provide the
necessary answers. She shut her eyes and shivered at the thought that if it
wasn’t for Castiel, she would have been dead by now. Pluto was a powerful god,
far more than any of those she ever faced before. She owed Castiel her life and
was determined not to waste it. How many close calls had it been? how
many times did she survive death? She leaned her forehead against the
tiled wall, feeling the warm shower drip onto her back. Her mind wandered for a
moment, savoring the fact that her closest friends, the Thomases were alive
and safe for now. She knew Joshua was recovering and wouldn’t be messing around
with the radio and network of hunters. Sarah quit this life long ago so they
were essentially safe from whatever was about to happen.
It was a relief,
somehow,, to know that none of them would be stupid enough to go after Pluto.
It felt good knowing she still had people outside of the Winchesters and the
Angel, she could call family. It helped put things into perspective. She was
doing fine. She was doing more than fine. She was alive and was still able to
go after the god should she find a way to defeat him. The thought was
comforting and it brought a soft smile to her lips. She stroked her arms under
the shower and gasped as she felt the body of Dean who had snuck into the
shower unbeknownst to her. His powerful arms just wrapped around her petite
frame and pulled her against his strong chest. She purred and rolled her head
just so she could rest it against his large chest. It had been a while since
they were able to shower together and just celebrate. It had been good.
Oya purred a little
louder as Dean started to press his lips to her neck, gently grazing the
sensitive skin while his hands stroked her sides. They did good tonight: Minimal
casualties, minimal injuries and to top it off they saved a whole town from
the monsters that were terrorizing it. Oya couldn’t contain her grin as Dean’s warm body was pressed against hers. For
the first time in a long while, it felt as if she could breathe again as if she
had dropped a heavyweight from her shoulders. For the first time, it felt
right. Dean was pleased with her reaction. The dirty blonde hunter wanted his
partner to feel good, to forget about Pluto, about her fears and doubts, and
even the next case they wanted to work together. Tonight, everything would be
about them.
