How could she call him a monster when she had blood on her hands? Perhaps when she was a young girl and he slaughtered her family during one of his rampages, she called him a monster. But it was eons ago.
Since then, the witch had experienced so much trauma and had to take lives in order to protect herself which helped her change the way she saw Klaus. How could he be a monster when he had to live the way he did? How could he be a monster when he didn't choose to become a hybrid? How could she call him such a word, when she took lives. When she found pleasure in doing so at times.... she couldn't.
So she never called him that because in her eyes, Klaus wasn't a monster.
