TB: mourning is for the wicked

TB: Mourning is for the wicked

xxxxx

Sara sat on the couch in her recording studio. It was summer, and she was wearing a pair of denim shorts, tennis shoes, and a large black t-shirt. Her hair was tied in a high braided ponytail. The supe fanned herself and allowed her eyes to wander on the wall before her. She looked at her accomplishments displayed on the wall. Her platinum singles, her most popular albums, pictures of her biggest tours.. Her entire professional life was ahead of her. Unnamed Girl: Such a popular and successful singer! Such a beloved star with just enough information for the world to know her. An orphan, a self-made woman who met that one single manager who saw the raw talent and uncut diamond she was. Before she met Homelander and Ryan, she believed that her career was the only thing she could take pride in.  She had tried to form relationships before, but they all failed, leaving her a little more miserable after each breakup. Long before she met with John, Sara felt a void inside her heart that couldn't be filled. Nothing she did was a permanent solution. The tours and the contact with the fans filled her with immense joy, but the nights she performed only left her feeling empty and depleted the morning after such a high. Her OnlyFans gave her some joy, but it was always short-lived. There was still a need for another show, a need for more comments from her fans, a desperate need for constant adoration that wasn't even fulfilling. The only thing she had for herself was her career, the accolades, and the awards she won.

With Homelander and Ryan, things have changed. She felt that she had found something bigger than titles and awards. She found something bigger than her own fame. She found a family.  She found peace with people who loved her for who she was and who didn't want her to become something she wasn't. There was a freedom she never had before and a sense of belonging she finally had after chasing it for so long. Her eyes averted from the wall to the door that opened on Ryan. He had been looking for Sara after playing video games with the children of Unnamed Girl's crew, who were hanging out with their parents.  He knocked before opening the door, which allowed Sara not to be scared by the noise the door made. He gave her a sheepish smile and walked into the room, kicking the door closed with his heel. She patted the couch, and when he sat next to her, the supe ran her fingers through his blonde mane.  He smiled and playfully shook his head so she would stop messing with his hair.

"I'm glad to have you here, Ryan. Did you enjoy yourself, Big Guy?" -He nodded and looked around for snacks.  He noticed the huge bottle of soda and grabbed it.- "I'm glad you did. I'm done for today, do you want to hang out at my favourite ice-cream shop?"

"Yeah!" -He grinned and took a sip of the soda that was in his hands- "When I walked in there, you were upset. Is everything alright?"

"I was just thinking about my life before I met you and your dad. In this room, there are all of my accomplishments. You can see all the awards I've won, the posters of the movies I've starred in, and pictures of my best concerts... Everything that is related to my career as a singer. I used to think that there was nothing else I could have had. I used to think that I was never going to be happy in my personal life. I was so wrong. I met you. I met your dad, and you both changed my life for the better, Love. You both made me happy.  It's just... I was so convinced I couldn't be loved that it all felt like a dream when I met you. I was convinced that it wouldn't last or that you would just get bored with me. Yet here you are. Visiting me often, spending time with me... I couldn't have asked for better."

"Yeah? Then why were you upset, Sara?"

"I... Thought of my parents. I wanted them to see what I became all by myself. I wanted them to see me be happy for the first time in a long time. I wanted them to see all the things I was able to do despite them claiming I was good for nothing. I wanted them to know that they didn't destroy the little girl I was. That I became stronger. I not only survived, but I also thrived. I wanted to spit in their faces, to tell them that they were good-for-nothing parents. They never loved me. They never cared for me. They never wanted me to be happy. I wanted to scream in their faces that they were losers. In life and in death. I wanted to lash out at them, asking my mom why she stole that compound V and made an enemy out of Vaught. I wanted to do so many things and say so many things that I know I can't because they're dead. That's why I was upset, because ultimately, I can't mourn for them. I can't...I don't want to, and at the same time, that little girl I was wished things were different. She grew up loving her parents, and she misses them. Yeah.. I miss them. I hate them. I wish they were still alive, but I know that I would never be where I am if they hadn't died. So it's messy... I'm a bit of a mess. I'm sorry, Ryan."

She wiped out the tears that had rolled down her cheeks and looked at Ryan, who simply put his hand above the one that was resting on her thigh. He looked at her with concern in his face and searched for a way to calm the woman down. He figured out that reaching out to her hand was the most efficient way to help her deal with her emotions, and he gave her a sheepish smirk.  Sara's gaze softened, and she gave him a warm smile. Ryan was a cute child. His mother taught him empathy, and she could tell he was being empathetic to her.  Sara looked at the teenager and nodded quietly. She couldn't possibly let this poor child see her be vulnerable like that. She was the adult here, and she was the one who should be offering protection and comfort. She dried her tears and grabbed the bottle of soda to take a sip too. She tickled him, and the two chuckled for a moment until Sara strangely felt cold. Without a warning, she grabbed onto Ryan's arm and quickly stood up with him.

"What's going on, Sara?"

"We have to get out there, baby. It's dangerous!" -She could barely speak. He noticed how tense her body was, and his senses, everything in him told him that Sara was scared. It wasn't just her being worried. No!  She was trying to escape. He wanted to scan the area to see where the threat was and if he could take it out, but she kept pulling on his arm and trying to force him to follow her. As soon as they stepped into the hallways, they felt as if they were in a freezer. Her throat tightened, and she squeezed Ryan's hand harder.

"What's going on??? Tell me." -He looked past his shoulders and tried to see what was happening, but she was going so fast that he didn't see anything-

"We have to get outta here! Please! Please! Please!" -She kept talking to herself until they reached the emergency stairs-

The doorknob had been frozen.  She searched for a way to break the ice and looked up to the glass where a message written on ice spelled "Sara. You will always belong to me." She screamed, released Ryan's hand, and fell on her knees. How did he find her?? How did he find her? Her eyes filled up.  Ryan panicked and grabbed her shoulders. He tried to give it a shake or two to no avail. Sara wasn't responsive. He turned around to look at the message and back at Sara's shocked face.  His focus shifted to the woman who was shivering. Her lips were trembling, and he could see the goosebumps that covered her skin. It felt as if she was locked in a traumatic memory, something Ryan had never seen before but was quick to understand. What he didn't understand, however, was what or who could have hurt her so bad that she was shaken like that. His superhearing helped him pick up the distressing voices of the people in the building. He realized that someone had broken in, and someone was trying to take Sara away from his dad.  Away from him! His eyes glowed a red color, and he stood before  Sara, arms spread so he could quickly protect her if anything went her way.

"Show your face! Leave Sara alone! Leave her alone!" -He yelled. His eyes scanned the area with his X-ray vision.-

He noticed that some of Sara's crew were locked in rooms and others were injured or freezing to death. His friends were locked in rooms, but they were safe, which made Ryan sigh in relief. He then noticed the intruder. It was a man he had never seen before, and the one responsible for the ice that engulfed the whole studio. A supe?  That meant that he had to be the one to stop him. Ryan fled towards him, fist first, as he decided it would be best to take out that stranger, but he found himself trapped in ice from his neck to his toes. His eyes were blocked by an "ice mask" that wrapped around his head. His ears picked up the noise of footsteps. His heart beat faster as he was thinking of how distraught Sara was and how vulnerable at this moment she was as well. Brett -because it was that bastard-  finally appeared before him. He was a tall man with shoulder-length black hair he tied in a low ponytail. He was wearing a blue leather jacket, a black t-shirt, and a pair of black denim jeans.

"My my my! I didn't know Sara was hanging out with Homelander's kid, but here you are.  I guess you're a fan of her work as Unnamed Girl, aren't you?"

"Leave her alone! Asshole!" -Brett laughed and wagged his finger- "What do you want from her?"

"Sara's mine, little buddy. She knew for weeks that I was in town and was going to take her back. I'm not going to do anything to her, kid. I just wanted to warn her for the last time. She can try to run away from me, she can move out of her place, change the location of her studio, heck, she can even date someone else, but ultimately, she would always come back to me." -Brett grinned. He didn't understand why the son of the most powerful man in the whole world would bother with someone like Sara. Being stupid, he only assumed that Ryan was just a fan of his former girlfriend. He couldn't even think about Ryan being close to Sara. Why would he?-

"Why would she do that?" -He asked. The ice was powerful, and he had never been in a similar situation before. Ryan realized that he needed to focus if he wanted to set himself free from the ice, but it was very difficult to do when this asshole was nearby, taunting him, talking shit about Sara. So Ryan was more agitated, and the more he was, the harder the ice solidified against him. Because of his young age, he wasn't able to calm down and break from the ice. He couldn't get to her fast enough. He couldn't get to her!-

"Because she's nothing without me. She thought she could be her own person, that she could be happy without me, but I know she's not. She can't be. She needs someone to tell her what to do and what to think. She needs someone to lead, not some schmuck who will do her bidding. Not some idiot who will tell her that she's beautiful and deserving of being loved. Not a simp. She needs an Alpha like me because I am the only one who can give meaning to her pathetic little life." -He then shrugged- "But you're a kid, what do you know about love and grown-ups' business? Be a sweet kid and shut the fuck up. I'm leaving. She knows I'm onto her."

Brett walked away from the building and waited until he was far away from it to melt his ice. As soon as Ryan was free, he rushed to Sara's side, who was now sitting on her heels, fingers sunk deep into her black mane, and her makeup melted through her tears and onto her cheeks. He gently wrapped his arms around her shoulders and pulled her into a hug. "He's gone, Sara. He's gone. Please.. come back." He begged and begged and begged until finally Sara snapped back and held onto him as hard as she could. She cried and pulled him into a tight hug. It was awful. Brett was becoming bolder and bolder, which indicated that he was getting ready to make his final move. She wasn't ready. She wasn't ready at all.

Windora trivia: Vampire society in Windora storyline

  1. 5 founding fathers (called Founding vampires): En-Sabah Adora, François Roustain, Akhona Ngawa, Fenghua Li, and Stepjan Stejic.
  2. All 5 vampires gathered together and created a small council of Elders.
  3. The council decided to expand, and each founding member sired children, enough to create 5 families: The Adora, the Roustain, the Ngawa, the Li, and the Stejic.
  4. The families were considered equal, but the truth was, the Adora were the most powerful, feared, and revered throughout time. En-Sabah Adora was the first vampire to ever walk the Earth and therefore the most powerful of all. Usually, he was the last one to give his opinion, and his decision was final and the one followed by the rest of the family. After his death, the Adora family retained this level of reverence and power.
  5. After millennia of ruling, the founding vampires all died under various circumstances, but it had been such a long time ago that it's difficult to confirm they are all effectively dead.
  6. Mausoleums were built in their honor, but we do not know what's truly inside, as it's forbidden to destroy the tombs and try to collect the ashes or any remains still existing.
  7. The deaths that can be easily proven because they died in public eyes were those of Ngawa, Li, and Stejic. All three died by exposure to the sun. Ngawa freely walked in after suffering the loss of her firstborn child (which happened to also be her biological child). The loss was too great for her mind to endure, and she committed suicide. Stejic lost his mind -under suspicious circumstances- and nearly threatened to destroy his own family. He was declared unfit to rule anymore and was put in isolation -locked in an empty tower with a rooftop window that could only open through a complex system. He chose to open the window and let the sun burn him to a crisp after so long spent isolated from the rest of his community.  The last one, Li, was actually murdered.  She became so hell-bent on going to war against the other families that, for their own sake, her own family turned on her. They trapped her and publicly executed her through a clever system of windows.
  8. The deaths that can't be easily proven because no one saw them were the last two: Roustain and Adora. It was said that Adora buried himself at the bottom of the ocean after he ran a wooden stake through his heart. Only his firstborn witnessed the death and was the one who buried him at the bottom of the ocean, but no one else saw proof that he was dead. Rumours said that he knew he was going mad and was dissatisfied with his condition as a vampire. To prevent a potential genocide of his species, he decided to kill himself.
  9. It was also said that Roustain actually demanded to be decapitated and torn apart by his firstborns. Each parts of his body were buried in different places in the world, but his head is the only "relic" they expose at his mausoleum.  Rumours had it that Roustain was the closest friend of Adora, and upon seeing him go mad due to vampirism, he opted to die in a bid to protect the species.
  10. The only remains that are exposed are of Li, Ngawa, and Stejic. There are urns with their ashes in their mausoleums.
  11. There is a skull, said to be of Roustain, in his dedicated Mausoleum.  Lux is the only one who suspects that it's not his real skull but someone else's.
  12. There is nothing in Adora's Mausoleum, and Lux suspects that he isn't dead either.
  13. The truth: Roustain isn't dead. He just hasn't made an official comeback yet.
  14. He hated Adora. He wanted to be the most powerful of the species, the one others would look up to. The ones they would fear and they would revere. He hated the power Adora had and the respect across the Vampire society and among their peers. He poisoned Adora and had to flee the council and the vampire society altogether with his firstborns.
  15. François Roustain knew that the poison would take a lot of time to kill Adora, so he bided his time and fell into a deep slumber. He instructed his firstborns to tell a fake story about his demise so he would come out as pious, victorious, and generous. By the time he poisoned Adora, the vampire society was developed enough for the Roustain family to remain despite their leader being dead.
  16. They also survived for so long because Adora didn't tell the truth. Instead, he decided to take his death in stride and prepare his offspring and the vampire society for a new age without the founding vampire. The truth about his death was disguised, and the legend of the benevolent Founding Father was born out of a desire to light the path of his species and to have them focus on protecting each other, even if that meant they would die in the process.

So what we know so far is that:

  1. The Five Founding Vampires are officially dead. 4 effectively are: Li, Ngawa, Adora, Stejic.  1 is actually still alive: Roustain.
  2. Frederic isn't aware of the existence of François Roustain. He is obsessed with becoming an Adora and accessing their wealth, their fame, and their status through a marriage to Lux, as well as their power.
  3. Frederic has her followed because he is intrigued by her desire to dig into the vampire mythos and legends.
  4. Lux is the only blood descendant of Adora. Hence, her immense power and her full transformation physique.  She doesn't know it. Aurelius doesn't either.
  5. François wants to eradicate the Adora family and become the only ruler of the Vampire society. He would stop at nothing, including starting a war where only the fittest would survive.

Windora: Running away from you

A week after Lux and Jake's second encounter in Atlanta,

Montana,  Helena, near the St. Helena Cathedral.

Summer was still hot in the USA.  Lux decided to stroll into Montana wearing a long-sleeved short black dress with gold accents. Her hair was braided in one single Dutch braid, and at her feet were a pair of black stilettos.  She was dressed far too elegantly for the day, and her luxurious appearance earned her the curious gaze of the humans who walked past her. She didn't care much about the attention she got, as her mind was filled with chaos. The emergency meeting she was forced to attend five months ago derailed her research. It stopped her from looking further into the vampire Lord, Frederic Roustain, of the Roustain Family. She learned from her regular blood bag that Frederic had her followed, and it both bothered the redhead and intrigued her. Her father shut down any attempt at conversing about his growing paranoïa and kept claiming the same dogma about the Founding Vampires: That they were all dead and had been for millennia.  If she went on a trip, if she was so determined to explore the world and find the graves of the elder vampires, perhaps, she would be able to prove her hypothesis to be true. It wasn't a war with humans that was coming. It was the return of a Founding vampire that was to be feared.

Still, Lux only had her theories with her. She needed to find actual proof of a Founding Vampire who was still alive. The implications of a Founding Vampire still alive these days were dire because ultimately, they would want to claim back power. However, vampire society had changed over the millennia, and rather than a handful of them holding power, they organized themselves in such a way that everyone could climb the ladder and become a leader through alliances and marriage. A Founding Vampire would disrupt this fragile society, and it would become a bloodbath.  She knew her father's life would be in danger, and she couldn't afford to lose him. It wasn't war with humans she was worried about. It was a war within the vampire society that could happen, and this one would be ruthless. A person was living in Helena who could help her with vampire history and help her narrow down her research. Meeting with him was the only reason that made her set foot in Montana. Another reason was that Lux needed a distraction from Jake.

Jake... She practically ran away from him, from what he was making her feel. It wasn't a conscious decision, not even a conscious effort, but her body recognized the signs. It recognized the growing affection she had for him. It recognized the insatiable thirst she had for him. It recognized the growing urge to come back to him and be in his arms.  It recognized what her mind didn't, that she was growing attached to her special human and that she was feeling more and more reluctant to leave him.  She forced herself to leave the hotel room early in the morning because she knew that if she didn't go, she would want to stay. She had to leave, because if she didn't, she would not. She would never.  Jake...He distracted her. When she was with you, her issues took a backseat in her mind. He became her priority, not the Founding Vampire, not the vampires following her, and certainly not the vampire society and the endless waltz of suitors who want to force her sire to marry her.

Jake... Well, she was willing to admit that he was a fantastic lover and she was addicted to him. Upon leaving Atlanta, she realized that she didn't want to try with someone else because she knew they would never be Jake. He was her special human. He was not afraid of her vampire nature, didn't recoil at the sight of her true form, and he desired her. Oh, he desired her, alright, and it was fucking communicative. Lux loved having sex with Jake. She couldn't stop thinking about him. She couldn't stop touching herself; heck, even in the train that took her to Montana, she locked herself in the restroom, allowed her mind to walk back memory lane, and fingered herself to completion. Jake truly was unique in the way he turned her into a cock-addict. Well, she was addicted to his cock, no one else's. She was addicted to him and found herself thinking about fucking him anywhere and anytime she had the opportunity. Yes, she wanted to see him again, and she knew that once her business in Montana was done, she would look for him again. She would text him and ask if she could find him again.  It was decided.

But sex was something she could willingly admit to wanting with him. Her mind wasn't shy about being needy, and she would gladly admit to her addiction to his body and the way he was fucking her. However, it wasn't all she loved about Jake. It wasn't just his massive dick, his large and burly body, his strong muscles that could manhandle her, or the fact that he was such a good puppy to her. Always obedient, always eager to please her, and so damn good at doing so. No. It wasn't just sex. She was missing the man. She was missing his jokes. She was missing his arms wrapped around her frame. She was missing his kisses on her soft skin, the type of affection and adoration from Jake that put her soul at ease. That's what he did. He put her soul at ease, something in the way he was holding her, the way he was looking at her, or maybe the way he was calling her name..She couldn't really put her finger on it, but there was a connection that went beyond the physical aspect of their relationship, and she was missing it. She was craving it. She was craving him.

She shook her head as she walked up the stairs to the cathedral. She chewed at her bottom lip and pinched her cheeks twice to focus on what was going to happen next. Before she could knock on the heavy wooden door, it opened, and an elegant man with white hair, red eyes, and a black suit with a blue coat around his shoulders welcomed her. He lifted a brow and took a good look at the vampire before he stepped aside and said in a cavernous voice.

" You traveled all this way for answers, Miss Adora. I told you on the phone that people outside of the council looking into our history doesn't please the council, but you said you were ready. Shall we begin?"

DDBA chapter 4: An open window.

// Finally, after spending some time observing Hayley, Matt decides to visit her.  He doesn't know what to expect, but he feels compelled to visit her. Something has shifted between the two of them.//

Matt followed Hayley from afar. After their encounter during the attack on his office, he couldn't take the woman out of his mind. He was surprised by her fighting style, and although she did not confirm it, he knew she had been trained by the H.A.N.D. Now he wanted to see if she was still used by the organisation or if she had gone rogue like he did.  Matt followed Hayley around, keeping a low profile with a hoodie, baseball cap, and black sunglasses rather than his red ones in case people recognised him. He let his beard grow enough to mask the shape of his chin, and he investigated. Her days seemed to have a routine. She would wake up, have breakfast, and head to work. She was friendly with others, more than he imagined her to be, given how silent and withdrawn she was at home. During his week spent observing her, she was training, meditating, and reading. From time to time, he could hear the echoes of a podcast she would listen to, but rarely did she put the TV on.  She did it every three days to listen to the news she couldn't catch on her podcast, but that was it. She listened to true crime podcasts as well as crochet ones, which made Matt smile a little. That didn't prevent her from leading a very lonely private life. Aside from her coworker Melania, who called from time to time to check in on her, and her close neighbours, she sometimes helped because they were elderly, and she had no friends.  During the day, He would hear her warmly welcome new clients or wave goodbye at old ones.

Matt also observed her at night, this time dressed as Daredevil. He would watch her don her costume and pay a visit to abusive spouses. Contrary to Daredevil's beliefs, there were women among the people she went after, and while they weren't nearly half the number of abusive spouses, they still were part of it and were treated the same as the men. Another belief that was shattered for him was that Hayley didn't brutalise these people the minute she saw them. Instead, she confronted them about their abhorrent behaviours and first tried to make them repent. On every occasion, the result was the same. They refused, accused her, insulted her, and tried to hit her, but they always missed because they were no match for her.  She tried to reason them one last time when they became physically violent with her and only when it didn't work (as it always did), did she resort to beating the living crap out of them. He watched her inflict pain, but not to the point of risking taking the lives of her targets. Matt had to fight the urge to intervene; part of him understood her motivations and would have probably done the same (only to feel guilty afterwards), but another part of him wanted to stop her. Some laws had to be followed, and she couldn't appoint herself the judge, jury, and executioner of these violent people.

One night, as he was patrolling the sector, he noticed that her window was open. Remembering what she told him, Daredevil slipped into her apartment through the open window. He cleared his throat and announced his presence loudly before he heard a reply from her. She was in the living room, reading a book, and invited him to come over. As soon as he walked into the living room, he noticed the warmth and nice jasmine scent that had filled the air. She was sitting on the couch, wearing nothing but a silky bathrobe he could only guess using his abilities. The fact that she didn't even try to cover herself and didn't seem to be embarrassed by the way she was dressed somehow tickled Matt, who couldn't help but blush slightly.  She grinned at him and gently patted the sofa so he could sit on it next to her. He realised that it was quite a simple room, with just a couch, a small table in front of it, a TV fixed on the wall, and a library with all the books she was reading. It was simple and cozy, and he felt that she was making some efforts to make him feel comfortable.

"I'm not going to hurt you, so you can put your batons on the table. You can also remove your cowl if you feel comfortable. Your secret is safe with me." She reassured him. He listened to the sound she made by shifting around on the sofa and putting her legs on the small table before her. She put the book on her chest and looked at her ceiling. "I was wondering when I would see you. Today is not the first with my window open, you know?"

"Awww, really? I missed an early opportunity?" -He chuckled and quietly sat on the couch.-

"It's alright. I am just glad that you made it here tonight." -She bit her thumb and moved her leg so she could lay her feet on the couch.- "Do you...Do you want to drink something?"

"I'm fine. How about we--" -He cut himself short and scratched his beard with his forefinger. She turned around to face him, both feet still on the couch- "I have been watching you for a week." -Why was he so straightforward? Matt bit his inner cheek and tilted his head to the side, as if he was looking away from her- "I wasn't trying to be creepy, I wanted to know you better."

"Oh, I know that you were watching me. I spotted you a while ago, but I let you do it. I figured that you wanted to know who I was, what I do. I am sure you found out that I was leading a very boring life."

"A boring life? Come on, Lee... I mean, Hayley."

"It's okay. You can call me Lee." -She smiled at him and wrapped her arms around her knees- "And yes, a boring life. I am just doing my job. I beat up abusive spouses, and I read books in my living room. I don't go out, I don't go on dates.. I am boring." She chuckled. He liked the sound of her voice.-

"Well.. I know boring, and you're not boring at all." He tilted his head to the other side, and it felt as if he was staring at her.- "I have to say, I thought that you genuinely just went in a started to throw punches." - That made her laugh, and she put her left hand on her plump lips- "I'm serious! Ah.. I'm serious! I thought you broke windows or kicked doors open, and you just started to punch without saying a word."

"Ahahah oh my god! Matt! Ahah, I could.. I could have done it, yeah. I might have done it when I started. I was less patient than I am today, and I thought- I thought that coming at them with a flying punch was the solution. I realized that it didn't work well, I mean, it was silly of me to attack them without giving them any context." -She paused and stroked her chin for a brief moment- "I guess it felt good..." -She admitted in a faint voice.-

"I can relate to this. I remember how it felt the first year of being Daredevil. I was ruthless. I didn't care about breaking bones and beating goons and criminals within an inch of their lives."

"You were angry." -Not a question. A declaration. He pinched his lips together and furrowed his brows- "I was angry too." -It soothed him somehow that she admitted to being angry too. It felt good to have someone who could relate to him and wasn't judging him for his violent start or encouraging him to become more violent either-

"You were angry?" -She hummed her reply- "What were you trying to beat up?" -He didn't expect her to answer truthfully. His senses told him that the young woman's heart was starting to beat harder and faster. She passed her tongue on her bottom lip and shrugged-

"Do you really want to know?"

"I do. I want to know, Lee." -She rolled her eyes and leaned her forehead against her knees. She tightened her grip on her knee and lifted her head again-

"Alright. Alright. I had hit rock bottom when Melanie talked me into getting a job at the shelter. I was.. I couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel, Matt. I had so much red on my ledger, and I thought that I would never be able to wash it clean. I thought... that maybe if I died it would be washed, but I just couldn't give up on living. I just couldn't do it...I wanted to live. So, when I was punching abusive spouses, for me, it felt like punching away all the evil I did." -She chewed at her bottom lip- "I was mad at myself, Matt. I still am."

"I'll ask you once, and I hope you will answer truthfully. When we fought each other, I could tell it had the H.A.N.D. signature all over it. Were you.."

"Yes! I was raised by the H.A.N.D." -She cut him short and pinched her lips together harder- "You figured that out alright. No. I'm no longer theirs. I ran away. Sort of." -She confessed in a light groan- "How do you know them? I assumed that you fought them before."

"I was raised by Stick. He taught me everything I needed to know about the H.A.N.D. And, yes, as Daredevil, I ran into them."

"Okay."

She knew he did more than just "run into the H.A.N.D. She was there when they tried to take over Hell's Kitchen. They knew where she was, and a few were dispatched to kill her. When she realized that the H.A.N.D. was seemingly destroyed by Daredevil, she celebrated, believing that she was definitely freed from the H.A.N.D. It felt as if a heavy weight was lifted off her shoulders, and she wouldn't have to look over her shoulder for the rest of her life. It felt nice for the short moment it lasted. Soon enough, she realized that some members of the H.A.N.D. survived. They escaped and regrouped, and soon enough, the H.A.N.D. rose from the ashes. And the new leadership wasn't different from the old one. She wasn't safe anymore.

"I have to know something. How did you know it was me? You said my name, and it was as if the world crumbled around me. I didn't expect it. How did you know?"

"You... Ah!.. It's a blind man thing." -She curved a brow and ran her hand through her curly hair- " I mean, okay, you know that I am blind, right?" -She hummed her response- "Then you know that since I can't see, all my other senses are even better."

"Spit it out, Matt. Please!" -She chuckled- "What has betrayed me?"

"Your scent. You smell like fresh jasmine." -She blinked and chewed at her bottom lip- "Yes. I mean, I caught it the very first time we met. It was overwhelming, but in a good way! In a good way, Lee. I mean Hayley! I just... You smell like Jasmine, and it stuck with me!"

"I... I never thought I could... Ah.. Jasmine, you said?" -He could feel her heart beat faster against her ribcage and  the muscles of her face turn into a sheepish smile-

"Yeah... It's... It's like your signature scent, something I know is only yours. It smells good! I mean, you smell good. Ah!" -He stroked his beard and slowly removed his cowl. He needed to feel more comfortable. She watched him in silence as his black curls appeared in front of her and he removed his gloves.

"You... like how I smell?" -She repeated, blushing uncontrollably and leaning into her couch. He nodded and whispered a little "yes" that made her sheepishly smile- "I.. I'm a bad host. Do you want to drink anything?"

"Yeah. A beer if you have some." -She stood up and went to the kitchen. It allowed Matt to remove his shoes. What was he doing? He acted as if he was going to stay for the night. He wanted to. He was drawn to Hayley, and he wanted to spend some more time with her. She requested he make himself comfortable, so removing his shoes and neatly placing them against the couch seemed like a good idea. "By the way, Heather and I  are done. I called her sometimes after my apartment was destroyed. We had a lengthy discussion about what happened, and she refused to even consider that I was targeted as Matt Murdock by the Task Force. She also doubled down in front of  Kirstin when she mentioned the attack on her office and her rescue by Daredevil." -He paused for a moment- "Either way, we're done." -He admitted, before shutting his eyes off and scratching his beard once again.- "I don't know why I'm telling you this. I guess I wanted us not to feel awkward."

"And why would we feel awkward?" -Hayley came back into the living room with two bottles of fresh Irish beer. She gave him one and then sat back on the couch.- "Do you feel that there's a  sexual tension between us?" -She jokingly asked while taking a sip of her beer-

"Well... I would be a liar if I said that I wasn't attracted to you. I didn't come here because I was expecting anything, okay? All I'm saying is that I'm glad to be here tonight and to share a beer with you."

She smiled at him and chugged down her beer. The truth was that she felt it too. An attraction to the super handsome lawyer Matt Murdock. It was subtle, but it was there. She thought he was handsome, enjoyed how straightforward he was, and even his sense of humour. She thought he smelled good and dressed sharply. She looked at him as he was drinking his beer and tried to reason with herself for a minute. What would be the harm in just sitting on his lap? What would be the harm in just cupping both of his cheeks? What would be the harm to just -- and before she knew it, Hayley had put her bottle of beer on the small table before them and closed the distance between Matt and her. She straddled him, forcing the lawyer to hold onto his beer tightly while he wrapped his other arm around her waist. She studied his face, well aware that she acted on an impulse and there was no turning back. She didn't want to turn back. She slowly ran her fingers over his face, as if she were seeing his face with the tip of her fingers. He groaned and leaned into the couch, his free hand slowly moving down her back and onto her ass. He squeezed it and elicited a moan from her. The sound made him groan, and he felt his length twitch in his pants. He wanted her, and from the moment she straddled his lap, there was no turning back. He felt no hesitation on her part, and that only fueled his eagerness for her.  Her breath brushed over his skin, and her lips slowly peppered kisses all over his forehead.

"You'd better stay overnight, Matt. I make killer pancakes." -She whispered before she pressed her lips to his.-

"I don't intend to leave. I'm all yours tonight, Lee."

Rp splove: Mine: Lux edition

🩸 For Lux, Jake is like honey. He’s like a treat that you give yourself after a hard day or hard task. He soothes her heart and brings her comfort. He makes her days much better than what she is used to. Jake is like freedom. She can be herself without any restriction. She can show her true form and act as she always does without making compromises. Jake feels like accepting her and her flaws. Acceptance of her bad days and acceptance of her dreams and desires. He wants the whole package, and this is as real as it gets.  For Lux, Jake is everything she thought she could never have again. And then some more. He’s a reminder that love exists, and she deserves it.

For Lux, Jake is hers in a way that no one else ever was. With him, she reached a new freedom in her lovemaking. She’s free, she’s vocal, she’s laughing, she’s moaning, she’s loud and unapologetically herself. He’s hers in a way that his blood triggers something inside her. He has ruined other men for her, other lovers as well. She can’t imagine another pair of arms and hands to roam over her body. She can’t imagine another cock fucking her, she can’t imagine another pair of green eyes to stare at her intensely. Jake is hers in a way that she selfishly doesn’t want to share him with anyone else. Even before she realized she wanted to be with him, she hated the idea of not being with him. She hated the idea of not seeing him anymore. He’s hers in a way that she’s secure about their relationship and devotion to one another. Others can look at him, try and seduce him, but they can’t have him because he doesn’t even look their way. He doesn’t entertain that shit because he is hers. Just like she is his.

Rp splove: Mine: Sara edition

🎤 For Sara, Homelander is like sugar. She’s addicted to him. To his touch, to his voice, to his face, and his love. She is addicted to everything about him and some more. Sara can’t get enough of him. She always wants to see him, to cuddle him, and stay with him. She craves his company, his smiles, his laughter. For Sara, Homelander is like a good childhood memory. The type that makes her smile. The type that makes her chest feel warm and fuzzy. The type that makes her feel even more in love with him. Homelander is the answer. He is the answer to that question that haunted her since she was a child, “Am I enough?”  No one but Homelander loves her for who she is. No one but Homelander makes her feel like she is worth being loved. He is her everything.

For Sara, Homelander is hers because only she can give him milk like that. Only she can feed her man and care for him while he drinks. Only she can feel in tune with him. Excited, aroused, needy for him like she is. Only she can make him say her name over and over again. Only she can make him feel weak in the knees, and patiently wait for her because he knows there is a reward there. And she loves every part of him. John, Homelander, anything in between.  For Sara, Homelander is hers in a way that would make it impossible for them to even look another way. She only has eyes for him; however, he wants to dress or be addressed. She only has needs for him. And with him, she can use her powers in creative ways.

Rp splove: Mine: Mary edition

🦜 For Mary, Tom is like fire. He can be both nurturing and calm, comforting, and he can also become lethal. He can burn everything around him. She knows her man, and she knows that he will always do his best to protect those he loves, but sometimes his demons come back to haunt him, and he hurts those who love him, too. She knows that he can’t be tamed and doesn’t want to. What she wants is to give him an ideal place to grow into something beautiful and strong. She wants him to thrive. She wants him to have a safe place for his bad ideas / awful moods. She wants him to see how much good he can do for his loved ones. He put them out of poverty, helped them cement their names in town, helped them build families and own properties, and somehow, he brought them closer to each other. He has that power.  People flock around him.  For Mary, Tom is a nurturing flame. He comforts her. He protects her. He makes her feel good. He helps her build and grow as a person. He helps her heal.  She will always protect him, her flame, her black stallion.

For Mary, Tom is hers; in the need they feel for each other is impossible to stop.  She feels such a strong desire for him that he makes her act foolish. He makes her take a cab wearing nothing but a sheer dress. He makes her hose herself in cold water whenever she sees him. He makes her lose her words. Tom is hers because he lets her be Bad Mary. He lets her be in touch with her sexuality and be free. And she lets him be himself, too. The Tom who can get on her knees for her. The tom who can go harder and bruise her because he fucks her harder. the Tom who eggs her on and feels alive when he finally cums inside her Tom is hers because no one else can love him like she does. No one would ever dare tell him what they want or how they want it. But she does. She can.

Rp splove: Mine: Nëela edition

🔮 For Nëela, Klaus is like a fresh start after a series of unfortunate events. He is like a fresh breeze after a fire and brings new beginnings. Klaus feels like a comfortable living room by the fire, and a blood-curdling book you read while drinking wine.  He's cozy yet spicy. Klaus is the little element she needed to start a new life again. One where she can look at the future rather than look back at her past. She is optimistic and confident. Klaus feels like redemption, of some sort. And she will be damned if she let it slip away.

For Nëela, Klaus is hers because he accepted her magic on him. He let her use it to bind him and find new ways to make him feel good. She’s comfortable in her magic and as her true self. It’s wonderful. He is hers in that only he can drink her blood. Only him can make her cum. Only he can make her lose control and trail off like that. There is freedom in their lovemaking as both of them can fully be themselves. She can be a witch and use magic on him. He can be a hybrid and use his fangs, claws, and whatever on her. He is hers because together they can be free, something they haven’t been in a while. Something they might never be, except when they are together.

rp splove: Mine: Bäahal edition

🐉 For Baahal, Jaime feels safe. He is the fort who will protect her against danger of any kind. He is an unwavering support, a protector of some sort, and someone who always looks out for her. Baahal feels that she can trust Jaime no matter what, and he will always do his best to respect his word and keep his promise. Jaime feels like the warm embrace of Viseryon. Something she can’t replicate since her dragon died, but something similar. She feels understood and safe with him.

For Baahal, Jaime is hers. In a way that no one ever was before. He’s the first man who made her moan, the first who made her wet, the first to make her feel good when he takes her. The first to make her want more. He even is the first to make her cum. Jaime is hers, because she gave him all of her first times and her most precious treasures, and he his hers because she gave him his first times as well. They belong to each other, and she will always make sure that her golden lion is loved and cared for as he deserves to be. She would always make sure that he falls asleep with a smile on his face because he made his firecracker  cum  but she also made him feel good. No one can top that. No one can take him. She would not allow for it.

Rp splove: Mine: Oya edition

💚 For Oya, Dean feels at home. He is a warm apple pie and a nice cold bottle of beer. He is the comfort after the effort, the icing on the cake, the warm blanket wrapped around her frame when she’s exhausted, sick, or upset. Dean feels at home. He is her home. She finds comfort in his arms. She finds respite and safety in his arms. She finds peace. He is her peace.

For Oya, Dean is hers to please. She knows how to help him unwind and relax. She knows how to make him drop the savior persona so he can just be him. She takes charge, she tells him what to do. She caters to their needs. Dean is hers to play with like putty in her hand and she would be damned if someone else wanted to do it. They wouldn’t understand his needs like she does. They would want him to act like a savior and a dominant when Oya knows he just wants to let her decide for them both. He wants to let her be in charge, so he doesn’t have to do it there, either. He’s the submissive to her dominant side, and no one can match that.

Rp splove: Mine. Elpis edition

Mine: sfw and nsfw

💀 For Elpis Pride is the promise of better tomorrows. He’s a promise of an eternity of adventures, of conquest, of delightful debaucheries. Pride is eternity, and when she said he’s mine, she means that they will build a life for each other. A life the other deserves, an existence that brings fulfillment to both.

For Elpis,  nobody can touch Pride.  She would never allow it. His body is hers to service, hers to touch, hers to please. His eyes can only stare at her, his mouth can only lavish her skin with attention when it’s not busy talking to her through it. His cock is hers to fuck. She’s possessive of him. She’s so possessive of him. The only thing she can allow is for others to worship him. She loves that they praise him. She loves that they need him, but they better not try to touch him, because then her angry nature would come back. Pride is hers like breathing is to humans: essential. A part of her and only he can satisfy her the way she wants to. Only she can satisfy him, the way he needs to. He is the dominant to her submissive, and she wouldn’t want it any other way.
