SoA: A slice of cake -Asma and Jess-

Asma finally visited Jessica several weeks after she burned the box with Oscar's belonging. She couldn't bring herself to leave her house, not even for work and stayed home for a while. They still talked through texts and phone calls because Jessica wanted to know what was going through her friend's head. There came a moment when Jessica asked for her friend to come over because it had been a while since they last talked so Asma agreed to do it. She baked a cake for Jessica and the boys, she took to Jess' house. The brunette had a sweet tooth, even more since she was pregnant. Besides,  what better way to talk about life than by sharing a delicious slice of cake and drink a delicious tea with it?

Asma had so much to talk about. She wanted to talk about the progress she made and how difficult it was for her to stay sober despite her best efforts. Yes, she was under pressure when Jessica gave her the box. She was feeling so bad that at some point she considered chugging down a bottle of wine but resisted the urge. She already gave into it a few months ago when Jax found her at the bar. Sure, Oscar finding her seriously put her efforts in jeopardy but Jessica was there and helped her friend stay sober. Why would burning a box impact on her resolve? She resisted which was really nice and even found a renewal of her strength since the accident happened.

"It's been a while since we last saw each other." Jessica began as Asma was cutting the cake for both of them. "How have you been?"

"Better...I've been better since...How--How are you doing?" She asked as she handed her the plate and fetched herself a slice.

"Actually I'm doing okay. Awfully busy but okay and still sick as you can see but, not so much because of morning sickness. It's behind me."

"Oh, so the baby has settled nicely inside of you then?" Asma teased her as she poured hot water on two tea-cups and handed one to Jessica.

"It's going to leave that body soon enough I hope." She said rubbing her round belly. It had grown in size since Oscar died and had Asma look at her best friend with a warm gaze. "I don't know how to feel about it. I mean... I'm getting used to being pregnant you know? I don't know if I want the baby to leave my body and meet this world."

"It's worth seeing you know?  The world. That baby has to meet its dad and its brothers. It has to grow into a beautiful person. It has to experience life despite you trying to protect it as much as you could, from the outside world."

"You got me Azz. I want to protect it from the world but at the same time, I am excited about that little bean meeting its dad and brothers for the first time." She said smiling to herself as she grabbed the cup of tea and smelled it.

"And aunts and uncles. Everybody wants to meet the baby, I included. I am thinking about a present cause I want to spoil it rotten before it's even conscious it is spoiled rotten." She said with a chuckle. "I want it to know that I did everything I could to stay alive and be decent enough for it to meet me. I am making efforts for you, for the baby, for myself. I've been sober for quite some time now..."

"Yes, more than a year! congratulations Asma!"

"Less than a year," Asma said, clearing her throat as Jessica put the teacup on the table. "I...failed. A couple of months ago, I would have celebrated my one year anniversary of being sober but I failed and gave into my urges and drank. I texted you that night but I messed up and Jax received it and came to me. We talked that night.." Asma bit her bottom lip and looked up at the ceiling as she felt shame overwhelm her. "He comforted me...Told me that it happened to slip and fail and go back to drinking when things got tough and they did. I had received the yellow rose, remember? I tried to leave but you kept me around but I was so stressed... I just..." She was about to cry but Jessica put her hand over her friend's.

"It's okay Asma. It's a very difficult battle and you fought hard. You gave in one time and you started over. It's all that is being asked from you, to start over when you fall. I didn't know you drank that night but I am glad Jax found you. I am  glad you didn't drink after that." She said in a reassuring tone and squeezed her hand tighter.

"You always know what to tell me. I feel much better with you here. It's just so difficult to talk about it  because I always fear you would turn your back on me."

"This is silly. I would not turn my back on you for any reason possible. I just wouldn't. We've been through thick and thin ever since we met and nothing is going to stop me from loving you"

"And I, you. So.." Asma sighed and took a sip of her tea. "About Jax and the boys, where are they?"

"I don't know Azz. All I know is that they are alright I guess? I want them home you know? I want Jax home but he's not coming back until shit's settled or whatever...I'll have to wait some more. And it's /killing me/! you know?!" She said munching on the slice of cake. Asma chuckled and nodded.

"I do know. I want to see Tig again."

"Ooohh...He's..he's taking good care of you right?" Asma nodded and then bit at her thumb.

"It was unexpected. I feel funny in the legs. My heart beats way too fast..He's a good guy I think"

"You are so cute when you're infatuated." It was welcome. It actually helped Jessica think of something else than Jax not being home and how much she cruelly missed him. Abel and Thomas ran around the living room, with toy cars in their hands as they were having fun together and then Thomas stopped and put his hands on Asma's legs.

"Can I have a slice of cake please?"

"I don't know, what does your mother say?" She asked, looking up at Jessica's face.

"Please mommy! I'd like a piece of cake!"

"I'd like one too!" Abel said, also laying his tiny hands onto Asma's lap. "Please mommy! I want some cake!"

"Ahahaahh jelly beans, maybe if you went and put your hands on mommy she would accept!"

"Asma you're terrible!" She said while the boys swarmed their mother with affection and big begging eyes. The cake smelled good and they enjoyed Asma's culinary skills so of course, they would not stop until one of them gave up. "I can't resist your faces and you asked so nicely. Here you are." She said cutting a big slice she then cut in two smaller slices and gave to each of the boys. "Take a seat and eat there." She watched as the boys brought their small chairs to the table and sat next to Jessica in order to eat in front of her.

"I love being terrible! Motherhood suits you very well." She said leaning her head against her warm palm.

"You think so?" Asma nodded and took another bite of her cake. "Yeah?" Asma nodded again. "Oh well... you're making me feel all mushy now."

"I'm just saying the truth. you're a great mother. You'll be great to your babe-in-waiting!"

"Babe-in-waiting?" She laughed, unable to hold back her laughter any longer. Asma wasn't even trying to make her laugh but there just was this moment of peace, where she was with her little ones and Asma, eating cake and laughing about life. Jessica needed a moment like this one and she was grateful to have Asma with her. They kept talking about Tig, Jax, parenthood and Asma's return to her parlor as well as her doing races again. It was a nice Sunday, with just the four of them and the boys being happy because they could eat some cake, Jessica feeling relaxed because her baby was healthy and she had her sister by her sides and Asma feeling at peace with Jessica by her sides. She smiled and hummed a soft tune as she drank her tea and talked with her sister and her nephews.

Doya : The guy in the chair

A/N: She's recovering all right, and Dean promised her to take her out for lunch in the middle of an investigation so she doesn't stay in the motel room throughout the whole thing. As a sign of her coming back to her old self, here you have some jealous Oya and an overwhelmed Dean ahah

XXXX

The investigation was taking a lot more time than they suspected because they couldn't locate soon enough the vampire nest much to Oya's dismay. She enjoyed going on a hunt with both Dean and Sam -especially after her birthday spent with the two of them- but she felt stuck in her rĂ´le as the guy in the chair because the brothers would do all the heavy lifting while she waited in their motel room for a phone call about a research here and there. If it was a witch or a monster they had not fought yet -for example, anyone from her folklore- then things would have been exciting, but they were hunting vampires and since the Alpha wasn't even involved in the disappearances, the case lost its interest for Oya. Of course, she would still help and they would get rid of the nest, but not being able to go on the field felt very limiting and she hated it. Dean felt her frustration and decided to help her. He promised she would leave the motel room and hang out with them. Today the mission was simple, he could take her to the morgue so they could take a look at the bodies and try and find some clues about where they could have been killed -not dumped- to narrow their researchers. She was a professional coroner so it would not be too difficult to sneak under the radar and talk to the local coroner.

However, Oya needed some fresh air and the best way would be to take her to lunch. So they went. All three of them went to the local diner where they knew would be pies and other delicious greasy food. Dean was pleased to see Oya wear a lovely yellow dress that made her look tiny and cute and sexy at the same time. He loved how the dress clung to her generous curves and yet was fluid and short enough to let her breathe under the fabric. You wouldn't believe she had been shot three weeks ago.She had kept the faux-rings they used when they tried to rescue Leda and Nadya as pendants she would nervously play with when she felt stressed and he noticed but said nothing about it. He wasn't very comfortable with the idea of being « married » to her, especially since marriage felt a lot like the end. -maybe that was because his parents died. His mom did first, then his dad lost himself into his job and died to try to avenge his wife. Dean didn't want to experience the same thing, especially since he saw how he reacted when Oya was injured. He nearly lost his mind thinking she might die from that gunshot.- YET, he had to admit that it was somehow sweet to spend some time pretending he was married to Oya. They weren't themselves most of the time But he liked how it made him feel. To have some sort of routine, to find her at home, happy to see him home. That wouldn't become something more and he had NO plans to getting married to her, and neither did she. It just was a time of their lives where they lived this weird parallel uncanny life she liked.

Oya sat in between Dean and Sam at this nice dinner. She had not been with the two of them for some time so she was very excited about talking with them. She went on and on about how it sucked being stuck at home and how she had missed being on the field. She talked about her injuries and how it sucked because it didn't heal fast enough for her taste but they both told her they were glad she didn't have any complications and was recovering fairly well for someone who was shot in the guts.  Then the conversation shifted to something a lot more "pleasant": Work. They talked about how complicated it was for them to find the nest and how many young kids disappeared at an alarming rate and they couldn't seem to find the nest. Oya suggested that maybe they were taking the problem from the wrong angle and that the kids were probably out of town and that was why they couldn't find the nest in town. Would vampires hunt outside of their comfort zone? It made the brothers furrow their brows but it wasn't a dumb suggestion. How could they track them if that was the case? She suggested that the kids had to have a link that could explain why they could disappear without being noticed. The profile had to be the same even though the victims were vastly different in terms of ethnicities and social backgrounds. Some were rich, others were homeless so they better have a link.

"I would investigate on that, the places they used to go, the people they use to see."

"Sam....I saved you some troubles and narrowed down searches to three places we know most of those kids went to. The Youth center, the  local gym and there's this dinner called Barbershop where many of them were last seen."

"Is that me or are we in some Law and Order episode?" Dean asked her in order to make her smirk, which she did.

"Is this your way to say I did a good job? I'm the guy in the chair anyway, of course, I'd do a great job!" She asked, leaning into the chair. He grinned at her and held her hand but they were interrupted by the waitress, a cute blonde woman with a very nice figure Oya didn't miss, who seemingly had been ogling Dean from across the counter. Well, Oya didn't need this to be true to get fired up. She simply needed to think about what could possibly happen to be pissed off.  "What do you want?" She sneered at her, brows furrowed.

"I came to take your orders ma'am." She said, tucking some blonde locks behind her ear. "You haven't ordered anything to eat and you've been here for a while so I was thinking.."

"You thought good," Sam said. "We're starving. We'd have burgers and fries, with beers."

"For all three of you?"

"Yes, unless you'd want something different Dean?" He asked, looking at his older brother who was oblivious to the admirative stare of the waitress. Oya wasn't and she shot daggers at her as well as at Dean who swallowed a lump and cleared his throat. "Anything different or we're good?"'

"Is Dean your name?" The waitress asked, as she turned her back at Oya and put herself in between Dean and her. Of course she was just trying to make contact, she had not seen how close he was of Oya, hadn't seen them hold hands or him stroke her shoulder before she came to their tables and they were wearing professional attires (Oya still had her jacket of the FBI since it was a fresh day, so she assumed they were agents on the field to tackle the disappearing of several kids. "It's a gorgeous name!" Dean grinned, oblivious to the young woman's attempt at seducing him.

"I know right? Thank you, EErr Marcy! You also have a very sweet name." He said to her with a nice smirk. Oya kept on shooting daggers at both of them, especially Dean since he didn't seem to realize what was happening. Marcy let her hand wander and put it on Dean's shoulder. She held onto it and gently stroked it, which achieved to anger Oya.

"We're good." The African hunter groaned, her eyes narrowed as she perceived this gorgeous blonde as a threat. Rightfully so since she was obviously trying to get into Dean's pants but it still was overreacting because she /knew/ Dean didn't care about that. He didn't care so much that he didn't realize she was flirting with him. "Maybe you could give our order and leave us the fuck alone."

"Oya." Sam scratched the back of his neck, knowing too well than escalate the situation. He cleared his throat as a way to ask her to calm herself down but she didn't. She noticed and knew what he meant but decided to ignore it altogether.

"Oh, I will ma'am. I just wanted to talk to your colleague a little bit." She said, blushing and tucking some more golden locks behind her ear.

"You mean you were flirting with him?"

"I didn't mean to offend."

"Oya it's enough."

"Enough? Can't a woman go have lunch with her boyfriend without being motherfucking disrespected by the very first blonde tramp working at a dinner joint?" She raised her voice and crossed her arms as the blonde was mortified. It wasn't needed and Oya knew deep inside that she was not correct but it had been a while since she went out with him and just the thought of all these pretty girls flirting with Dean was STILL upsetting her. Marcy turned red from shame.

"I didn't know you were together. I had no clues, I thought since you were colleagues that you couldn't fraternize.."

"I don't fucking CARE! What are you still doing next to my boyfriend? Get the fuck out of here and give our order!" She yelled at the young woman, making her scurry out of the place. Dean blinked at her.

"Why did you do that?" -Sam cleared his throat and stood up.-

"I'm going to the restroom."

"No sit there!" Oya said. "Dean, I think you're adorable and very cute because you're oblivious to what's going on but for fuck sake, she was flirting with you and you let her touch you!"

"It wouldn't have gone far! she touched my shoulder!" He said, scratching the back of his head.

"And next time she would have stroked your cheek! You're fucking attractive! You're so sexy--"

"I need to be out of this! guys!" Sam complained! He didn't want to listen to someone else gush about how sexy his older brother was, no matter how true that was. Oya was pissed off because her territorial self couldn't accept that someone touched him and it was moving Dean who could see and feel how much she cared about him and how much she valued him and it pleased him even though he didn't like when she was upset like that.

"Sit still!" She commanded and crossed her arms and pouted.

"Oya, come on."

"No." She puffed her cheeks. "You're too damn oblivious for your own good. They would try to get into your pants."

"And you think that men or women wouldn't want to get into yours? Do you want me to remind you of Jen?" He asked, lifting a brow. Jen was Oya's friend from before the Winchesters who ended up actually wanting to jump into Oya's pants and tricked her some night they were hunting together. Being first degree and very naive at times Oya didn't see that coming and while the events unfolded in front of Dean (through the phone conversation they had), she felt terrible for not having noticed it before. it shut her mouth and she pouted harder.

"Fuck you, Dickhead!""

"Fuck you too, Bitch! I didn't forget what happened and trust me, I feel the same as you do right now because you're amazing and sexy and too damn gorgeous to have people NOT wanting to be with you too. How do you think I feel when you're away on a mission? And with what happened with Jen, I'm worried you would not see that coming again."

"Wait what happened with Jen?" Sam asked, unaware of this misadventure.

"You wouldn't want to know," Dean added while he held Oya's hand. "You've been rude to her."

"Because she touched you. I hate that when someone touches you. You're mine to touch." She wasn't angry anymore, his words had worked well on her so she was just a bit upset.

"I know." He grinned and pushed his chair closer to hers. "While it usually is very funny, this time I thought you would have slapped that poor girl."

"I think you don't need me right now. I'll be back and you gotta explain to me who this Jen is." Sam said as he left the table. Dean put his head a little forward so she could grab it with both hands and she nuzzled his nose.

"You are quite something Mr. Winchester." She pecked his lips.

"Are you still mad?" She shook her head and pressed her lips against his again.

"Not anymore." Dean sighed in relief and chuckled.

"Someday you really would fight someone over a glance at me."

"Who said I hadn't already?" She pressed her lips against his some more and wrapped her arms around his shoulders. "It's good to be back on the field though. I can't wait to be fully healed so we could hunt together again"

"Sure, but you're great at being our guy in the chair so far."

"Better this than nothing!" She grinned and released him so he could sit normally again, his hand over her leg under the table.

(TBC)

The executioner

He was the son of Death. Born into a family of executioners, it was his duty to bring to the gates of hell the miscreants who terrorized the population.  He did his best to keep a distance between the people he killed and his feelings. Taking a life wasn't easy and his people knew that and both felt relieved and disgusted by the work of this man and his family. They were called all over the country in order to execute felons and murderers and for a while, the young men were able to push back the emotions that threatened to fill their heads. That worked until they couldn't. The younger one, our main character, broke down the day he had to kill a young girl whose crime was to steal two gold coins from her lord to feed her starving siblings. He didn't even want a trial nor did he want to give the child a second chance. They were starving and helpless and still the lord had her killed and the kids punished even more cruelly. The executioners were revered as the doers of God's Will, but was it God's will to take the life of an innocent? Of a child? He didn't think so. It broke him down so hard that the young man couldn't pick up his ax or even tie a noose in the following weeks. So his brothers did his work and he was forced to stay home.

It wasn't an issue for him. Instead, the young man started to work the land and took a liking in growing things and life rather than taking it. He met a young woman, he discovered was actually a slave, and the two of them would very often interact. She was beautiful and kind. She was radiant and proud, kind towards children and animals but fierce. He saw her tame the wildest horses, he watched as she healed the chickens and cows. She really was good with animals and knew her way around medicinal herbs and unguents. If she wasn't wearing a collar, he'd never suspected that she was a slave. Her owners might have tried to keep her terrorized, The young woman had a strength he never saw in anyone before. He realized that while it was forbidden for him to fall in love with a slave, he couldn't help himself. He fell in love with her. How could he not? One night she was in town for the sake of her owner, the young man broke the law of the land and claimed his love for her. She responded in kind, claiming that she fell in love with him a while ago and she chose to come to town that night because she knew they would be alone. She made the first move, let him know that she wanted him and both became one. That night, they sealed their fate.

She wanted a way out, she wanted to escape slavery and he tried to prevent her from doing so. If she tried to escape without a very tight plan, she might be caught and might be killed. They argued a lot and she told him that he didn't understand how she felt, how she had always felt. Trapped in a situation she never asked for, born from slavery, her ancestors kidnapped from their motherland and stripped of their identity. Their humanity denied and their lives repurposed to serve the needs and desires of unscrupulous monsters. She told him that her body wasn't even hers and the only decision she could take for herself was the one that led them to become one that fateful night.  She told him that while he could to some extent understand how she felt because he was forced to take a job he didn't want to do and forced to kill people and be as desensitized as possible, he still was far away from understanding the way she felt. She was nothing, less than an animal in a world she knew shouldn't have been hers to live in. She would never know where she came from and would never be able to visit the place. Her life wasn't hers, her body wasn't even hers. How could he understand how it felt to be property and valued as such rather than a human being with emotions and a plan for the future?  He stopped fighting her over her need to escape after their argued and decided to do his best to help the woman he fell in love with.

His family learned of his plans and decided to move him away from the town and force him to return to work. Once again he was an executioner sent across the country to eliminate felons. Once again he was thrown into a life he didn't want to live. He went from creator of life to destroyer of life in a matter of days and here he was doing his job with a bitter mood and a broken heart. He couldn't even see his sweet lover who wanted to set herself free. Every day he thought of her, of how she handled life without him by her sides, like she did before. He thought of what she decided to do once she learned he wasn't in town. Was it her cue to start moving? was it her cue to eventually take her destiny into her own hands? What could be the outcome for her attempt at freedom? He knew the law, he knew she would be killed if she tried to escape and was found. He had hope, however, that she might survive the ordeal and fly to the  North of the country and eventually meet better people than the ones in the South. But what if she fell in love with someone else? He would accept that too. He was away, far away from her and wouldn't be able to protect her or ensure her a happy life. She would be stuck with him, to a job he hated, to a family who would never accept her. She deserved better, she deserved more. So the hope of seeing her happy in the future kept him going. He decided that the price for her freedom was his commitment to his job.

He was good at it, at swinging the ax, at tying the noose. He was an expert even, an artist. He was the son of Death, the one true heir and he started to take a liking at what he was doing. After all, it was his destiny or so he thought. It was so much easier to believe that than to actively try to stop doing this job. Could he even escape from this life, he thought one day? He wouldn't. People knew his face, knew his family. They knew their business was Death and they would never trust him. His grandfather tried at some point, to change his life when he met his wife but society never let him to it. They would constantly remind him that they needed someone to be God's executioner and that job fell onto his lap and he couldn't refuse to do it. It was a curse, really, a curse more than a blessing. He wasn't free, just like his beloved, he was forced to keep on going. It didn't last long. Someday, Fate cruelly reminded him that he wasn't free. He was called in the South of the country for a quick judgment. An exception because the perpetrator should have seen private justice but the crime was too grand to be ignored by the public eye. God's justice had to fall upon the criminal so the young man was sent to execute it. It was a slave who killed her master after the latter purposely tried to use her body. It wasn't uncommon for masters to rape their slaves, -it wasn't even considered as such since slaves were denied their humanity- but it certainly was punishable by death any sign of rebellion, let alone the murder of an owner. She killed him and had to face consequences. In order to make an example out of her, her execution would be public. It wouldn't be swift like a beheading or a hanging. It would be more gruesome, fitting to the crime she committed and the life she took.

Already, the young man wasn't feeling well. He hated the fact he had to kill women and even more when the death had to be a slow and gruesome one. He hated the fact he had to kill a slave, especially since he fell in love with one. What was his shock when they brought the culprit to him. It was HIS beloved. He saw her skinny body and the bruises he guessed were inflicted upon her by her captors. He noticed traces of whip he hadn't seen when they last were together, fresh traces of fists on her face. They tried to make it disappear so she would look her prettiest on the day of her death. They would use her charms against her, strip half-naked  in front of an audience to justify the lust of the master. How could he resist such a creature? with perfect curves and a perfect skin tone? How could he resist such a beautiful female who was flaunting -according to them- her charms to him to get some favors from him? How could he? he was just a man.  It sickened the executioner who tried his best not to react. His family was watching him among the crowd, the lord of the place was also there, he couldn't defy them. She knew it was him and stayed regal, defiant and proud. She held her chin up, put her hands on her waist as they tried to humiliate her but she didn't flinch. When asked if she regretted her action, she said she should have cut his cock and throw it to the swines who were more deserving than her master was. She spoke her mind, talked about the god that was forced upon her people and how she found his grace and misericord while praying for him. That God told her she was human and should be seen as such and not like property or a beast.

The master forced himself on her, he brutalized her and she refused to let him get away with him. She had already lost so much from the hands of those barbaric white men that she refused to let them get away with that outrage and pain. He had what he deserved and she would die with her head held high. She then went on about her last regret, which was to not have been able to go through with the love of her life, the kind and noble man who treated her as a woman rather than as an object. She said that Fate brought them together once more and she would be able to feel his gaze upon her as she dies. It shut the mob's screams for a while as people were confused. She wasn't kicking or screaming or begging for her life. She was standing there, accepting death and lecturing them about their own barbaric nature. How dare she? A servant? A slave who had more humanity than them? They encouraged the executioner to proceed with the law, after all, she was a murderer and nobody, especially not a slave should be excused for what she did. So he did. His heart was heavy, his throat was tight and his eyes were filled with unshed tears. He held her hand for a minute, holding it tight as much as he could before she smiled at him and patted his shoulder. "Go ahead, love, I am ready." He nodded but his shaky voice told her. "I am sorry about what I am going to do to you. I just can't.."

He looked into her eyes, lost and confused. It was so certain, the minute he saw her his heart skipped several beats and it became clear that she was his future. She was the promise of a better life and if he really loved her, he would at least die alongside her but he didn't. He was a coward. He just couldn't die, not even for love. So he placed her on the wheel that he would use to stretch her lips, a little more every half hour while she would have her hands broken, her feet broken and would be flogged and cursed by every priest of the small town. She would be insulted by the crowd, thrown rotten fruits in the face as a way for all of these peasants to channel their anger and misery. She knew it from the start but dying by the hand of her lover was still a better fate than life as a slave. So she didn't make a sound, she didn't cry but allowed herself to express her pain through her facial expression. He was caught stroking her cheek and talking to her, saying how sorry he was that her death wasn't clean and quick. He talked about how much he wished she wasn't a slave so he could marry her, have children with her and make her happy. He talked about how empty it made him feel and hopeless too. She was his beacon of hope, a flower found in the concrete that his life was. She told him that he was naive if he thought that they could have had a happy ending. In this time and age, they couldn't have been more than they were. He couldn't have given her more than he already did. A little bit of respect, some decency and love. It was more than she ever thought she would have.

She died several hours later, he lost the count. All he knew was that she died slowly and from an agonizing pain. A pain he could have prevented her from feeling. Her death impacted him deeply, to the point that he just couldn't sleep anymore. He stopped sleeping, he stopped eating, he just couldn't perform anymore. The blood he had on his hands, her blood was the last he could take. It gave him nightmares, horrible nightmares where her ghost followed him and accused him of killing her and not doing anything to save her. His silence made him an accomplice of the system that killed her and he very much did, literally but also by doing nothing. Guilt started to eat at him, making him lose his mind, to the point that he was forced into a mental institution. They kept him with the lunatics and the mental ills. They kept him among thieves and murderers who pretended to be sick and he felt at home for a while. He felt that he got the right punishment for not doing more to save the love of his life, but it was vain. His guilt ate him more and more and he missed her. Her laughter, her scent, her kindness and candid smile. He missed her fierce attitude, her honesty and everything he should have preserved instead of lost. They found him someday in his cell, hanging from the roof with an elaborate rope made of clothes. They said he died with a smile and seemed at peace after years of agony. His family buried him in the cemetery of criminals and sinners where was buried his beloved. They finally reunited after so many years spent away from one another. And finally, in peace and in death, they found each other.

Together at last.
Together forever.

Tickled

She tickled my curiosity, how could she not?
Her beautiful hair, so vibrant in color, caught my very eye
Her radiant smile was infectious and before I had the time to even say "what?" she bewitched me.
I was under her spell, I think, from the minute I laid my eyes on her.
I couldn't escape from her, I don't even think that I wanted to.
She had me at her mercy and I willingly jumped with both feet.

She tickled my curiosity, how could she not?
I was mesmerized already by her ability to fight, her raw strength and immense power.
She could level cities with her arms, she could have tyrants bend the knee before her.
I was moved by her compassion and her open heart she never hid from anyone.
She was giving, she was forgiving as well and was always prone to see the best in everyone.
She bewitched me with her kindness and before I could even say "What?" I was at her mercy.

She never truly used it against me, I don't remember a day she did so.
She knew I was infatuated, I never tried to shy away from my feelings for her.
How could I? I was a knight, I was a fighter, taking risks was in my veins and ran in my blood.
I would have fended monsters and slaughter her enemies for her sake if she asked me to.
I would throw myself into battle and take the risk to lose my life in the process if she asked me to.
She had no idea of how deeply I was feeling for her, or how alive she made me feel, worthy even

She tickled my curiosity, how could she not?
I witnessed her being vulnerable when she thought nobody could see. I saw the masks fall
I saw the scars she refused the world to see and bear on her skin, the real ones, the mental ones.
I saw her breaking down in front of me after holding back for so long for the sake of everyone
And in moments like these, she confided in me, she trusted me more than she trusted herself.
It broke my heart to see her this vulnerable but I am aware of my incredible luck, of my privilege

She tickled my curiosity, how could she not?
I saw the warrior, the woman, the friend and the teammate all at once, on that battlefield we call life.
I saw her grow and mature and rise and fall all at once on that clusterfuck we call life.
I saw her break her walls and build new ones, I saw her give to others selflessly and ignoring herself
I saw her being unable to take what was given to her as if she didn't feel worthy of being loved back.
And I saw her triumph from that, rise and shine brighter than the northern star, I was bewitched.

I don't need more in life than her being happy.
I don't need more in life than her feeling complete.
For she gave me all that I needed and keep on giving without realizing it.
A purpose in this life, love I never thought I'd ever had,
compassion for my shortcomings and encouraging words for my victories.
She bewitched me... no, she didn't, I think I guess... I simply fell in love with her.

Pretender

I am a pretender,
I pretend everything is fine, a small smile here, a bigger smile there.
I pretend I have everything under control and nothing can stop me.
I pretend I am strong and I pretend I can move on.
You hurt me? No biggie, I can pretend it never happened or I can pretend it doesn't affect me.
I hurt you though? I would go out of my ways to make amends all the while punishing myself.
And nobody could see past the scheme.
Nobody could see past the smiles.
I'm just good like that.

I am a pretender,
I pretend I know everything and that I understand everything so I would never be surprised.
I pretend I can anticipate everyone's behavior so I wouldn't be surprised, you bet I don't.
I pretend I don't feel pain, or need help so people wouldn't worry about me and would admire me.
But this is bullshit, this is so false. I am not strong, I am not strong at all.
Thing is that I am falling apart and I am witnessing it from afar.
And nobody could see past the schemes.
Nobody could see past the smiles.
I'm just good like that.

Nobody could see past the schemes,
Nobody could see past the smiles
Nobody could see my pain, for I keep it all inside.

I am a pretender but I know that if I keep doing so
The next thing I would be would be dead, I am heading that way
I could stop it, maybe, if I willed myself to

The trick is... I am not sure I want to.

SoA: Protector (Tig and Asma)

A/N: Very self-indulging but also at the same time, I kinda like these two so I'll write a little bit about a trail of thoughts that led Asma to think about him and the good he brought into her life. Sure, they are at the beginning of everything but he left a solid impact on her.

Xxxxxxxxxx

Asma shrugged and rolled on her belly. She had her phone in her hand and was looking aimlessly at the list of numbers she had on her phone. She moved her fingers to go up and down her list and then stopped at Tig's name. Here it was, thrown in the middle of the list of names of the good people of Charming. It made her heart skip a beat and she put the phone back onto the mattress so she wouldn't have to look at the screen with his name. Why was she like this? Why was her heart beating so fast when she simply saw his name? Why was it skipping a beat whenever she heard his voice or felt his fingers on her skin? It should have been obvious, it should have been since it was when Elias was in her life. She had a crush on Elias and maybe she was having a crush on Tig? Why not?

He was a criminal. There was no other way of saying it. He was a member of the SONS and he was involved in so much shit, according to Jess, that if we were to read his rap sheet, we would still be there for a good two days non-stop. It was scary! He had killed and even more. He dealt with shit Asma didn't want to know about because it wasn't her life. Whether she wanted it or not, it wasn't her life. She was a good girl who tried to avoid criminality at all cost. When her brother Cody became a thug, she did her best to distance herself from him because she couldn't condone his lifestyle and his poor decision-making skills. She couldn't condone his unlawful activities and watch him self-destruct as time went by.

So what? He was a criminal and so what? After meeting Jessica Darling and Jax Teller, she changed her mind about gangs. Her world was shattered and nuanced. People were different from the stereotypes she had in mind. They weren't just greedy animals looking for cheap thrills or domination. They weren't just trying to hurt others for the sake of doing it. Suddenly, Asma realized that they were human beings just like her with dreams and hopes and broken hearts. They were trying to make a living and have a decent life. Sure, they turned to a life of crimes but not all of them were unhinged individuals and dangerous people. Not all of them were monsters and they certainly weren't a monolith. It shook her to the core and slowly but surely she became very close to Jessica to the point of the two of them becoming best friends. A good girl and an old lady. A good girl and a ruthless warrior. A tattoo artist and a hit woman. It was an uncanny duo but it was one whose existence was deeply rooted in trust and care and love. Genuine love.

With Jessica, she found a promise. An open door to a new life and an uncanny support. Elias happened and ruined the wreckage Asma already was. He broke the shattered heart of the woman to the point of her not wanting to play the game of love anymore. Then she had to try and stay sober and for a year it nearly worked but Oscar barged into her life and had her relapse. By the time it happened, Asma had found a family in the Sons. She had found a safe space and protectors. When Oscar tried to intimidate Asma, Jessica had her back and she killed him unceremonially in her own kitchen. Then Jessica cleaned the mess and gave her the box with Oscar's belongings so she could symbolically say goodbye to him and move on. She had found a family in the Sons and Jessica when she was trying to sober up. They would take her to races, they would have her ink some more members of the gang and they would make sure she was never alone. It didn't matter if it was Lyla or juice or even Tig who looked after her, Asma never was alone.

Alex "Tig" Trager. Asma pulled her phone back to her face so she could read his name again. It made her feel warm and fuzzy inside. He looked so rough on the edges, hardened as if he was wearing an armor. For a stranger's eye, Tig was intimidating. This brash and burly kutte-wearing biker had seen it all but that stranger would have been wrong. Tig was a man who was dedicated to his family and friends. He wasn't perfect but he tried as hard as he could to maintain good relationships with people he cared about. Asma shut down her eyes as she remembered the night she spent with him before he went with the Sons and the Knights do God knew what. She remembered his calloused fingers he ran over her soft skin, She remembered his that felt as if they were trying to heal her pain. Asma rolled on her back and looked at the ceiling. Truth be told, she was missing Tig.

He was quite a man after all. He brought her something new. Comfort might have been the word for it. Protection could work as well. The night they spent together was beautiful. He made her feel as if she was the only woman in the world and put her in a trance until the next morning. Asma bit at her bottom lip as she remembered the words he whispered in her ears, his sexy grunts and groans, the warmth of his body smacking against hers. He felt good inside of her, stretching her tight little cunt with his big fat cock and making her choke on her words. He felt even better after when he decided to stay with her overnight and talk to her. It came naturally for the two of them t start talking to one another and get to know each other. He wanted to know her better and he wanted her to know him as well. He never tried to hide who he really was from her, without getting into details because she asked him not to. So she learned. She heard about his chaotic life, about his kids, about how she made him feel.

Tonight was wonderful, for both of them. Her warmth engulfed his whole being and soothed Tig. This time felt different He wasn't fucking her like he would any other woman. He did make love to her and both felt it. Her eyes shifted from left to right as she stared at the ceiling, her arms on her chest and sighed deeply at their own thought. Yes! they made love that night. Was it because he wanted to protect her? After all, he heard what happened to her by the time they had sex with one another. He heard Jess talk one day she was frustrated about Asma second attempt at running away from Charming because of her ex and spilled some beans to the guys who were around. Chibs, Opie, Tig, and Bobby.

Tig remained silent when he heard but he didn't forget and the rest of the group promised to help if Jess asked for it. Tig already hated the asshole for making this sweet girl scared of being alive. He refused to forgive him when he learned that he actually abused the young woman, to the point that he realized she didn't have a very healthy way to have sex. So he took it upon himself to make that night the best she ever had. He made her experience sex like never before and made sure that she felt pleasure all along and went at her own pace. He didn't leave her sides when they were done and exhausted because he wanted her to feel desired and important on top of truly wanting to know her better. They talked at the dead of the night up to dawn and when she felt rested enough and relaxed, she told him that he could go if he wanted to. Tig said that if the club needed him then he would go but until then he would stay by her sides.

And he stayed for a couple of hours, just holding her in his arms.

Asma realized that he gave her something Elias didn't. He stayed with her and treated her like a goddamn person rather than just a sex-doll. He didn't just take from her but also gave Asma what she needed to have. That was why she was missing him right now and this was a feeling she didn't know how to handle yet. Asma closed her eyes and bit at her bottom lip. What did she truly want? Why couldn't she fall asleep? She was already trying to imagine what could happen to Tig. He could die, he could find another woman to bed. He could give his attention elsewhere or maybe worse, forget about her. He hadn't texted her since he left Charming and Asma was starting to believe that he would never. Yet, maybe he was thinking about her but didn't know how to address her. Maybe he didn't want to push her over so she had to text him first. Gathering her courage, the young woman finally typed a message out. She sent, half-hoping he wouldn't read it and half-hoping he would actually text her back.

#I miss you. Come back in one piece.#

DOYA : Give into me

A/N: Because I was thinking about our babies and how much she cares about him. How much they compliment each other (instead of complete) and how much she loves him. It's her talking to him. Think of it as a mood piece rather than something to add to a plot.

Xxxxxxxxx

Sweet Love, I am looking at you from above, as my hips have a will of their own. We are one at this instant, with you inside of me and me on top of you, engulfing you in my warm and soft wet core. We are one in this moment and I cannot help myself but stare at you as you are lost in this bliss. Your eyes are closed, your jaw is tightened. Your hands are holding onto my plump rear, your fingers are sinking into my plump flesh and you are beautiful. You are so beautiful.

I want to close my eyes, the friction between our legs felt so good that I wanted to give into it and ignore the urge to look at you. I had to fight harder in order to stare at your beautiful face, at you giving into me, into my loving embrace and delicious constricting core. At us being one at this instant, is what we were always meant to be. I put my hands on each side of your face and I bent forward to push my face closer to yours and you look amazing. And you look divine.

My sweet love. I want you to abandon yourself to me this way and further more... I want you to take a deep breath and let me take care of you. I want you to let me love you. Dean, baby... let me love you. You have been running away from love for so long now, preventing yourself from being happy. So I have to fix it. I want to be able to kiss every and each of your scars, I want to be able to soothe each and every one of your fears. I want to be able to cradle you until you relax completely. You are safe here, with me, inside of me for I would not give up on you. I would not give up on us. Give into me, Dean darling. I want you to forget about everything else because all that matters is you and me right here, right now. All that ever mattered to me was you, always and forever.

I keep on looking at you, my hips bucking at a steady and pleasant rhythm. I watch as your face contort itself with pleasure. I feel your body tense then shudder. I feel you arch your back as the warm sensation of my cunt is driving you crazy and then you open your eyes and you look at me. In a moment such as this one, I feel vulnerable before you. My love is written all over my face. It is in the warmth of the palm of my hand I use to cup your cheek with. It is in the warm and wet kisses I give you. It is in the tight embrace of my cunt and the sinking nails into your skin. It is in the way I am looking at you, my beautiful Dean. It is in the way I make love to you.

Give into me sweetheart, let go of everything. Do not think of the plights of the world. Do not think of your mistakes anymore. Do not carry the weight of the world on your shoulders because I am here to take it all from you. I am here to protect you. I am here for you. OH, Dean, you make me feel that way, protective towards you, possessive as well and true to you. In this moment, with me about to release myself on you and you on the verge of falling off of the edge of pleasure, there is nothing but truth between the two of us. There is nothing but love between the two of us. There is nothing but one soul. We found each other. You appease my soul but I want to appease yours as well. You make me feel whole, complete and safe and I want to make you feel as much.

Give into me Dean, let me love you. Let me take the weight of the world off of your shoulders. Let me love you. Let me.....
