I have had a renewed interest in anything cowboy since I watched Yellowstone. So I'm tweaking my girl Hayley to make her fit in a "Yellowstone" universe.

Special features:  She has a star tattooed on her inner left arm, and her eyes are grey from being blind.

Something to notice about her: She's legally blind. Actually, she can see things but it's very blurry past a certain short distance. 

Physical appearance: 

Hayley is an average-sized, thick black woman with long, curly black hair that reaches the lower part of her back. Because of her blindness, her eyes are white and hooded. She also has a white star tattooed on her inner left arm, which reminds her that there is still hope in this life.

• Anger: Hayley's anger can sometimes blind her. She doesn't know what to feel aside from pure rage for her childhood and the constant heartbreaks and betrayals she had to face. Her anger comes from her low self-esteem and the perception that everyone will abandon her. When enraged, she doesn't think much and goes for the throat

• Gullible: Hayley is very naive. She trusts people and can be easily manipulated by someone who can sense her low self-esteem. Her naivety caused her so many troubles in the past that she had to learn to see through the lies. (This is still in progress.)

Personality:

Hayley isn't very confident in herself due to her chaotic past she has. She's traumatized by the death of her parents and even more disgusted by her biological mother. She craves connections and affection, but since every person in her life, save for her parents and biological dad, has betrayed her or strayed away, she is very aloof and scared of being hurt again. She hides her insecurities through her quips and banter, but her eyes are full of melancholy and sadness. Hayley is a sweet person, with a lot of love to give but not enough people who can receive it. She's very stubborn and determined to prove she is the one who can protect others, regardless of the blood in her veins or her blindness. When push comes to shove, she can read you to filth and can be straight-up mean to others.

Fictional Character Biography: 

Hayley was adopted as a toddler by the Blackwoods and lived a very happy life until she turned 17. The teenager was found by her biological mother, who tried to take her back.  She learned that her mother gave her up for adoption because she wanted to buy drugs. During the altercation that followed in the backwoods, Hayley learned that her father was killed by her mother and that  Hayley's adopted father would follow the same fate.  A fight broke out and ended up with the woman shooting at Johnny Blackwood. Her biological mother was sent to prison for murder.  Hayley mourned his death, but with the support of her mother, she managed to heal and joined the church choir, where her talent for singing was noticed. Her mother died in a car accident, and the church took her under its wing. She started to sing in bars and other venues.
