Doya; Oya x Sam : She was like Summer

Oya was like Summer. She felt like the burning sun up in the sky and the fresh breeze that cooled you down. She was full of energy. Sam always called her his little "gremlin" because just like them, she couldn't keep in place. He realized that he needed her energy, her moods, to hear her voice and listen to her unsolicited dating pieces of advice. He wanted to see her sing, and dance, and try on ugly outfits to relax at home. She felt like Home if Home felt like good days. For the youngest Winchester, Oya felt like family. It probably was the reason he noticed her absence the most. Sam rarely went on hunts with the ebony hunter. That was Dean's job most of the time. Dean seemed to have found some balance, some ground to attach himself to and grow within Oya. His brother felt different when he was with the hunter, more comfortable with himself, with life in general. They kept eating crap sandwiches, but someone, as long as Oya was around, they could endure the bad taste. Dean seemed to be able to endure his life a little more, a little longer thanks to her.

He didn't mind much, because the pair of them was better when they were together, but he did miss her. He looked at his phone, tempted to call her and furrowed his brows as he didn't know if she would take it back. He heard the news, Dean briefed him shortly. Oya was in distress. She wasn't sunny; she wouldn't shine for a while and he felt like he had to comfort her. His fingers played with his phone, as his mind was looking for something to say to her. Oya always knew what to say, she always had something to say -he was still struggling with emotions-. but he wasn't like her. Not really. not anymore.

#I'm with you.#

Was all he came up with. A couple of words to express his sympathy, to let her know he was giving her his support, that she was on his mind.. that he cared. it felt like it wasn't enough and her silence confirmed that she might have found this ridiculous. what could words do when the situation was dire? how could they comfort her when she was about to lose a brother? stupid! Sam felt a little bit stupid but still hopeful. She might read and feel better after all. She might shine again. He was hoping for this.

#Thank you, love ya Bookworm! # She replied shortly after, soothing him, relaxing his mind. she had read his text and she appreciated it. She welcomed him Home.

COPG: my king

(Pride x Elpis)

Elpis tilted her head to the side, her pink locks cascaded onto her shoulders and the small of her back. Her fingers were fidgeting with her lush golden dress as she stared at the sin in front of her. He was focused on the plans laid on his desk, so he didn't move from his desk as the goddess was standing next to him.

He crowned himself. Elpis realized that the minute she was released from her vessel. He kept his promise. She still remembered how it was 2000 years ago when he was still used by Hades. She wished she was there when he took over and defeated his father. She wanted to see him be victorious, claim his power over his siblings, triumph over Fate itself. Her eyes lit up, the golden orbs started to glow against the black sclera of her eyes as a shiver ran down her spine. He crowned himself.

She smiled widely, admiring this prowess of his and walked towards him, to the desk he was sitting at. He was the Sin of all Sins. the most powerful of them all and power radiated from him. Since he defeated her brother Leviathan, his strength increased. His power reached a new level, and it transformed him. Her eyes were intensely looking at him and her fingers traced the table as she finally leaned against the table, next to him.

He did it, he set himself free from his father's thumb and while the consequences were devastating for him -his siblings were plotting against him and nearly killed him-, he filled the shoes rather well. Her heart was beating fast, her emotions were out of balance as she felt admiration, gratitude, desire, love and awe mix together.

"You are the king now, Superbia." She whispered. She couldn't say more but was hoping he could feel what she was feeling at the moment. A maelstrom of emotions.

"I am, Elpis. I am but a challenged king." He added with a faint smirk crept on his lips.

"There is no king who is not challenged. My late father was, by his own children who wanted to have the crown for themselves."

"Your brother did kill him." Pride noted. Elpis sighed and nodded slowly. "I will not let this happen to me."

"You won't. I won't allow for this to happen. I'm not losing you again." She said, her fingers gently stroked his cheek.

"You can't fight a war that isn't yours to fight. My siblings would crush you to pieces, so you will sit this one out."

"But...."

"I understand you are powerful, but they can snuff the life out of you with a snap of their fingers. You sit this one out."

".........Understood." She sighed and yanked her head back. She closed her eyes tight. "Superbia...2000 years ago, we talked about you becoming king. You promised me you will and I am so happy to see you kept your word." He stopped looking at his plans and put his hand on her soft thigh, gently stroking it and eliciting a purr from her.

"I wouldn't have done it otherwise. however, say it again? what am I?"

"a king."

"Just /a/ king?" He teased her, his hand stroking her leg a little higher.

"/My/ King." She replied with a moan, as she put her hand over his. His eyes flashed purple and he grinned.

"That's it, Elpis..."

(SoA) Longing

(SoA) Longing

There's never worse than being in the dark. I've already voiced my concern about the whereabouts of my family. How is Jax going to survive? What is Alex doing? would he come back to me? Where is Jessica and why hasn't she answered my calls and texts? Nobody is here to answer me, Opie, Brad, I don't know where they are. The girls? The girls can't tell me shit because they know shit. All I have is tv and the terrifying news of people going missing, people dying, cars burning and mayhem tearing cities apart. All I hear is about violence and death...you'd say it's not really comforting and you'd be right. it's not.

I knew what I signed for, Alex reminded me a few days ago. I knew there would be nights where I would dread the next day because I could find out they died when I was asleep. I knew there would be days where I would be crying because I didn't know where my beloved is. I'm suffocating, my guts are churning, my blood is boiling because I don't know. I never know. Papa said I shouldn't have mingled with criminals, and I think that in his wisdom, he knew there would be horrible nights, painful nights ahead where my head would be spinning, and my heart would be breaking. He knew I would be scared because I'm this close to losing the love I so hardly earned. the happiness I so hardly fought for. The life I built. and I don't know... I never know....shit!

GOT; Tyrion and Bäahal: You have no right!

A/N: Fast-forwarding. I'm not sure this is going to happen, but the scene didn't want to leave my mind.

xxxx

"let me see him!" -Tyrion's voice boomed into the living room-

"Lord Tyrion." - Bäahal stood up from her chair and quietly bent forward to welcome Tyrion.-

"Where is he, princess?" He was asking a question but his tone suggested an order. Tyrion was looking at the silver princess like he had seen a ghost. He walked closer to her, his green eyes stared at the princess and searched for her purple hues but Bäahal was difficult to read. Her face was stern and closed as he surprised her while she was contemplating what to do next.

"You cannot see him." She said, her fingers fiddled together. The words took a second for the Hand to register, but as soon as they reached his brain, he furrowed his brows.

"What are you saying? We're talking about my brother here! I must see him!"

"You can't, Lord Tyrion." -She said, stepping on the left to prevent him from walking any further into the room. There was a door that led to the bedroom where his brother was resting in.-

Words came fast about the Silver princess who brought the traitor Lannister back to King's Landing. She hated that despite her attempts at being discreet, the truth was revealed by spies and the enemies of the Lannisters. Jaime survived the war, it was not a secret. He survived Cersei and left King's Landing during one warm night. He avoided the scorn of the people (But did he really care about being scorned?) and vanished into the dark. Nobody knew what happened to him, rumors had it that he ended up in a dump and was agonizing since he lost his one true love. Lord Tyrion tried to find him but couldn't openly lead searches since he was committed to the new Queen.  but he never stopped looking for his brother and was hoping that he did not die.

"How dare you?" -He tried to force his way, but she held onto his shoulder, with a strong grip that surprised the Hand-

"I told you, you cannot see him." -Her face softened and she knitted her brows. "Lord Jaime is not ready to see you again, not yet." She removed her hand and returned to fidget with her fingers.

Tyrion was still in shock of the bad new and furrowed his brows, he was trying to make sense of her words. It made sense that Jaime wouldn't want to see the man who sided with his enemy during the Last War. It made sense he cursed his name and swore to never see him again. After all, the younger brother, remembered how they parted. They said goodbye during that night and Jaime expected Death to welcome him upon his return. Death that never came but Death he wished he received. Tyrion let his hands run over the soft fabric of his shirt and walked to the chair near the princess'.

"Is he doing...How is he doing?"

"He's resting. Our last trip was.. exhausting. We encountered criminals on our way to --- I had to bring him here so he could rest and have the best care we could provide." She tried to justify her actions as if to convince herself that it wasn't a mistake to bring him there. When the knight would wake up and realize she brought him there, he would not be happy about it. she was dreading his awakening.

"You didn't answer my question, princess, how is Jaime doing?"

"He's devastated....ever since Cersei died, he just...stopped being himself."

"Part of him died with her on that night." Tyrion swallowed a lump and sighed deeply.

Of course, Jaime died that night. Cersei was his world. She was his everything, losing her would kill him, if not literally then figuratively. Tyrion knew that seeing Jaime would not change anything and could even worsen an already dreadful situation, but Jaime was his brother and he needed to see his brother. just to make sure that he wasn't dead just so his eyes could see that Jaime was still breathing and there was a chance to help him. Bäahal was overprotective of the knight. She found him in this dump and after a while traveling together after she spent her energy trying to put him back on his feet, she finally succeeded in having him agree to restore his past glory as a Knight, so he could die like one. That was what he agreed to because the princess provoked him enough for him to want to die the way Cersei would have wanted him to. To die, like his father wasn't given the chance to. during a fight or killed by the princess as she promised him.

"He is angry at you, blames you for everything. He explicitly told me that he couldn't look you in the face because you sided with the monster who took his sister. " She tried to speak slowly, making sure that each and every word cut deep. Maybe she was passing her nerves on him, maybe she was unfair to the hand, but for months Jaime was harsh on her, bitter and angry and she endured it because she wanted to help. Telling Tyrion the exact words Jaime said was also a way for her, to protect the Hand. She knew he would be eager to see Jaime and try and reason with him, but Jaime was too closed off, too hurt, too much in pain to see the genuine love Tyrion had for him or understand that his little brother wanted to help.

"I see..."

"No, you don't. You are still thinking of a way to outsmart me and enter this room. you're still desperate. you're still trying to enter into this room but you can't. I will never allow you to."

"You have /no/ right to bring him here and forbid me from seeing him. You can't do this to me!"

"I have every right! I didn't want to take him here, but it was the closest place I could bring him to. I am trying to protect you here, Lord Tyrion."

"From what?" He said, breathing a little harder and clenching his fists.

"From heartbreak. I understand you experienced worse from Cersei or even Jaime himself, but his anger is...you would never recover if you heard half of what he said. I'm doing this for you. I'm doing this for him too. He cannot see you. Not yet. He needs time and I promised him he would have time. So I'm begging you. I'm BEGGING you...to stop trying to enter this room and see your brother."

He remained silent, pondering her words and trying to understand what he could say.  his green orbs stared at the young woman before he sat on the chair in front of her.  they had not seen the princess for months and the only moment she returned, it was with his injured brother and in full-secrecy. Daenerys would want to see her, she would be upset if Bäahal returned without saying at least a word to her. Lord Tyrion cleared his throat and leaned into his chair.

"Have you seen the queen?"

"Not yet. I can't leave him... not yet."

"Is it that bad?....." She nodded and sat back on the chair she was previously on. He realized she had not been sleeping for days and her eyes were red from the blood vessels that exploded.

"He's severely injured. I brought him back so he could have a fighting chance. Let me....let me wait here until it's over and then I'll see my sister."

"Allow me to wait with you then. I won't see him, but I will keep you company."

She was too exhausted to answer him but outstretch her hand so he could hold onto it until the surgeon left the room with a good new. Maybe this wasn't the end of him. Maybe this was only a new beginning. Tyrion was grateful she let him stay with him because he knew she needed company. He needed to have an update so staying here would benefit both of them. But would it?

Doya: I promise

A/N: Everything sucks for Doya right now, but he's always there for her and so is she for him.

xxxx

Oya was sitting on their bed, unable to leave the mattress and pack her bags. How could she when all she was thinking of was Joshua. He was in a critical condition, and it was bad enough for Sarah to call and ask for help. It didn't look good and Oya was convinced that it was only a matter of hours before the young man dies from his injuries. Mangled? the very word sounded extreme to Oya's ears who couldn't help but tap her fingers against her thighs. Her mind was filled with questions she couldn't ask yet and her body was shaking so hard, that Dean stopped packing and crouched in front of her. Her hazel eyes focused on him and she gave him a tight smile before she closed her eyes and let a couple of tears roll down her cheeks.

"It sucks..." She whispered, her voice almost breaking.

"I know." Dean held her hands, forcing the hunter to look at him. She chewed at her bottom lip and dropped her head.

"It's the life we chose. I should be prepared for this but I am not. Dean..."

"Joshua's like a brother to you. I get it. I've been there." -Charlie, David, and others... Castiel and Sam. Dean had lost his fair share of people and he understood Oya's distress. She was scared of losing Joshua and didn't know how she would react should it happen. She bit her lip harder and knitted her brows together.

"I don't want him to die. I know... it's the job. You and can die too while doing our job but...I don't want him to die. Sarah would not handle it, his nieces wouldn't .. his girlfriend wouldn't.... how.. how can I handle it?" She asked, and he stroked her hands to soothe her.

"You will. You always do." He pressed his lips to the back of her hand and cupped her cheek. "Sarah needs you."

"She does. If she loses Josh.... she won't recover. We will find who and what did this to him and we will destroy that thing." She wiped out the tears that rolled on her cheeks with her free hand and looked straight into his green eyes. "I need you, Dean... to help me through this. To help me find.."

The hunter couldn't look at Dean anymore. It didn't matter because he was there and he pulled her into a hug. As her arms wrapped around his shoulders and she pressed her head against his shoulder, Oya felt the comfort he was trying to give her from the moment they heard the news.  He was there, always. He could not leave Oya alone and would certainly not help her with this case. Joshua was her family and if they could not save him, they would damn well avenge him. Finding the monster responsible for his condition became their priority. Giving Oya support was his top priority so he decided to step up and be the anchor she needed.

"I am here O. I'm going with you." He claimed again, renewing his unspoken promise to always look after her and vice Oya the support she needed.

"I know." She believed and trusted him. He would be there for her like he always was. She rubbed his arm and pressed a kiss to his cheek. "I appreciate you to come with me."

"You said it yourself O. You need me." He joked and pressed his lips to her forehead.  She rarely said those words. She rarely said she needed his help. "Need" was used with extreme caution and meant something for both hunters. Oya was in distress, the thought of losing her brother was too much to handle and he would be damned if he let her endure this whole situation without him.  Oya gently smacked his sides and looked up to his face.

"I do. I need you."

Dean wiped away the tears that got her face wet and gently stroked her soft cheek. Despite the rough years, she went through, Oya's face remained soft, maybe softer than before. they stared at each other for a while, in silence.  He lost his fingers into her heavy black locks and gently pressed his lips to her face. Oya pulled herself further back on the bed and he followed. She was now laying on the bed, her black locks crowned her head. She looked at him and smiled, while he entangled her fingers with his and pressed another kiss to her face.

"I'm here." -Dean wanted to say more but he didn't know what else he could say at this very moment. She understood him, she knew he meant that he would step up and be there for her because she needed him.  Oya held his fingers tighter and pulled him into a kiss.

"I know..." She whispered and pressed her lips to his once again. Her hands gently stroked his back and she closed her eyes as they remained in this embrace for a while. Dean leaned on his arm so he wouldn't crush her and with his other hand, he kept stroking her locks away from her face.  "I appreciate that you're here with me. I appreciate you are here.....I just.." -she couldn't keep talking, so Oya swallowed hard and closed her eyes while Dean planted a kiss on her forehead. "We'll find out what the fuck happened to him, right?"

"We will."

"And we'll destroy it, right?" -She sighed and rolled on her side so she could look at him better. Dean nodded and cupped her cheek again.

"Together." he replied.

"Together." She repeated and then wrapped her arm around his frame and leaned her forehead against his chest.

Chronicles of the primeval gods: life and Death of Ishtar: Jealousy

Chronicles of the primeval gods: life and Death of Ishtar: The burden of the crown.

Xxxxx

The king is dead, long live the king! Khaos was dead and had been for a few thousand years now. Ishtar took advantage of Khaos mourning for Elpis' death to attack him when he least expected it. Ayasha convinced the god of war to challenge their father. She convinced him Khaos was unfit to lead the primeval gods and Isthar executed her order. Killing his father didn't shock him as he believed it would. Khaos was a threat to his children, his bias towards Elpis was so much that he endangered his children. After all, it was justified. He was going to allow Elpis to pursue her relationship with sin. He was going to allow Death at the doors of their pantheon. Ishtar couldn't let him. So he killed his own father and crowned himself instead.  Elpis was punished, wasn't she? A life spent in a never-ending reincarnation cycle was punishment enough. He couldn't kill her. No matter how pressed Ayasha was about killing their baby sister, he could never have ended her life. It wasn't rocketed science as to why he wouldn't. Ishtar was in love with her. With the sweet and obedient goddess, he used to know.  His love for her blinded the god, even today, as he considered his future and the plans he had for the primeval pantheon and the sins.  Elpis had always haunted his thoughts. From the moment she became nubile to the moment she matured into the full-fledged goddess of Hope, her perfect features were on his mind. Ishtar desired her, but unlike Leviathan, he actually had genuine feelings towards his sister. He wanted to make her happy, to make her feel safe with him. The obvious chemistry they had when they worked together was a testimony that they were meant to be together. She knew he cared for her, she felt his desire for her and Elpis knew he would do anything he could to protect her from harm. He did so when Leviathan tried to force himself on her, he did so when other lesser gods tried to hurt her. But she betrayed him when she fell in love with Pride. She fell for a sin! An abomination created by an ambitious leader God so he could destroy Zeus. To add insult to the Injury she caused him, she fell in love with it. She gave her love to it. She denied Isthar the love that was promised to him. That's why it was hurting him to the point he decided to separate them. That's why he let Ayasha convince him he had to punish Elpis. That's why his blood was boiling since Pride set her free.

Jealousy.... envy... those emotions were tormenting him. He didn't care that it was a Sin. He cared that she loved that Sin. Someone else but him. He couldn't keep his anger in check at the thought they were entangled together in a passionate embrace. It sickened him to hear her claim her love for the sin as they would be cuddling together or making love. Isthar was supposed to be the one to see her face contort with pleasure as he would explore her. He wanted to have his hands tangled into her pink locks and his lips wrapped around her neck. he wanted to be the name she would scream as Passion would make her whole body shake. he wanted so many things from his sisters, things he knew he wouldn't have because of the Sin. Pride took her from him. He took her innocence, her heart, and her very soul. She was so in love with him that she sacrificed her life for him. why couldn't she love Isthar? what was with that Sin that she couldn't find with the god of War? He clenched his fists, his jaw tightened as anger overwhelmed him.  Pride was nothing, if not an empty shell used by Hades to conquer the world. He was trying to pretend he had feelings, ambitions, a strong will, but he was just a puppet and he was done insulting the New All-Father. The tall and handsome brunet stood up and adjusted his tie and suit. He glanced around him, at the mere mortals who weren't aware of his divine presence among them and grinned as they started to feel angry and acted on this anger. Violence exploded all around him, and people who would have been peaceful otherwise started to fight each other. As violence escalated, the god walked away, satisfied by the sight as it appeased his mind. The truth was, he still considered the words uttered by Leviathan before he died at the hands of the Sin. Ayasha was playing him, he was just a pawn at the mercy of the goddess of Knowledge's will. It didn't sit well with the god to whom the idea of being manipulated insulted him and his ego. It also implied that everything that happened from the moment Elpis fell in love with Pride and the moment he killed the All-Father was a horrible long con played by Ayasha, should it be real.

Jealousy... envy, those were the emotions that drove the King-of-them-all. He refused to admit that he wanted to be in the sin's shoes and have Elpis' love for himself. Why would hef all for something as petty as love? He refused to admit that the only reason he wanted to terminate the Sin was to claim his sister back. Pride didn't deserve her, he didn't deserve to have someone genuinely love him. He didn't deserve to be treated as someone instead of something. He wasn't a person, he had no soul. He was even less than the dirt Ishtar stepped onto. Elpis couldn't see it, but he would make her whether she wanted it or not. His eyes turned red from adrenaline as he found his new resolve. It had always been Elpis, from the very beginning, and she will be the reason he would be victorious again. He would take her back from that usurper. He would claim her again after he destroyed her raison- d'être in front of her.
