GOT (modern): Viserys and violence

Viserys had been in a couple fights in his youth. While he couldn't remember the reasons that led to them, he could still feel the burn of each bruise he received from his opponents. He could still remember the taste of their blood, the bruises on his knuckles from punching so hard that he broke their bones or dislocated their jaws. He could still remember their swollen heads, his swollen cheeks, the cuts on his lips, the rage within. He could still remember the surge of adrenaline from the first blow landed or the relief after he spent himself up. He loved to fight, he loved how it made him feel alive. He loved the sight of the other guy(s) battered into a pulp at his feet. He was feral, the one true Dragon King.

Gone were the days when alcohol and drugs messed him up so bad that he couldn't remember shit from the day before. Gone were the days when he would fight at the slightest provocation, just for the thrill of it. Gone were the days he lived so dangerously but it would be unwise to think that he got softer. If anything, he became even more dangerous because now he could predict, prepare, and remember the beatdowns he delivered.  That violence within him was not gone if anything, now he just needed a good excuse to lash out, something... someone to try his newfound patience out. If anything, Viserys became even scarier for the sound minds because he was in perfect control of himself and the level of violence he was willing to dish out at any given moment.

The only difference, at least in Bäahal's eyes, was that he was now fighting to protect his loved ones rather than simply for the love of drawing blood and breaking bones. This time, he was fighting with intent and a desire to destroy the threat to the point that there was nothing left.  Strangely enough, she wished she had a brother like him when growing up, who would protect her from bullies instead of being her biggest one. Perhaps, she would have had a different life if he wanted to protect her rather than destroy her. but that was in the past. Today, at least, when it mattered even more, Viserys was there for her.
