A couple years ago she was upset because she felt that leaving the Hunting community was betraying her father's legacy. Oya visited her at that time and after she knocked some sense into her, helped Sarah overcome her guilt.
However, Joshua’s attack and now disabled body acted like an electric shock to her. She couldn’t live her life without acknowledging the supernatural. She decided that teach her family how to defend herself.
Besides, she was the first to be notified of Oya and Dean’s wedding.
