Bäahal was a dancer. For most of her life, she used to entertain her master's clients with traditional dances. They enjoyed looking at the way her hips undulated as if they had a will of their own. They loved the way her silver hair shone under the moonlight or the way her oiled skin reflected the sun. She was mesmerizing when she danced and drove men and women mad with desire.
For her former master, Bäahal's skills were weaponized. It was a way for him to control his clients, and later to kill his opponents. For Bäahal, dancing was a way to express her emotions since she was forbidden to speak them out loud. She was able to show her passion, her anger, and her fear. She showed her resolve, her hunger for freedom, and her desire to escape this life of servitude. She managed to escape and while the following years were busy with war and diplomatic travels, Bäahal, now a princess, managed to dance again.
She wished to dance for Jaime, to express with her body the love she felt for him. She wished to dance for him, in order to celebrate their union and be at the most vulnerable in front of him. She wanted so many things but tried to reign in her emotions just in case Fate (and Daenerys) decided otherwise.
