Headcanon: Deepest desires.
Unlike plenty might believe, Sara's desires are very down to Earth. She wants to be loved. She wants to be seen. She wants to be wanted. She desires genuine connection, a connection with someone who embraces her as a whole, encourages her to keep going, and protects her.
For far too long, Sara had to survive. She was born into a loveless family and used ever since she was born by her parents to get money and fame. She was abandoned by her extended family after she became an orphan and the years at the orphanage weren't the best. Sara had to fight tooth and nail and find creative ways to escape beatings and other forms of abuse by her peers and the staff.
So, since then, the only thing Sara truly desires is to be loved, needed, cared for, and protected.
