TB: Sara's close circle
Sara has a very small circle of people who know her real self. Dotty, her manager practically raised her into the woman she is today. her two exes: Brett and Tara, tried to break her so she could become who they wanted her to be.
Following her last break-up, Sara managed to keep her feelings to herself. She only unwinds and removes her mask when she's with Dot, or by herself, and for a long time, she thought that it was the right thing to do. It helped her for a while, but she was starting to feel lonely and secluded. She needed company. She needed to be seen and to be cared for. She needed someone who could look at her and enjoy her as she was, freckles and all, and her opportunistic self. She wanted and needed someone to welcome her, needy, cuddly, and loving. She needed it but was slowly giving up on the idea.
Then, along came Homelander... Maybe, the rest would be history.
